Amazing for everyone, I just want to say thanks to this place. As a vegetarian cafe it makes food that everyone can enjoy even if you were a meat eater. It’s such a refreshing menu, the breakfasts are so unique and utterly delicious, they make basically everything themselves and you can tell they are passionate. As a coeliac I have eaten here countless times and have never had an issue, the menu is well thought out to make changes for accommodate Gluten free and they give you something to replace what is changed in the dishes. I bring all my friends and family here and always will. In my opinion best cafe in Bristol and maybe England. Thanks
Lovely little place to visit. We went following a recommendation to buy some fresh veg to bring home with us. Very disappointed with our bag of potatoes. it was sealed so we didn't think to look, however when we arrived home and opened them we were very unimpressed as they were quite green, damaged and moldy in places and had far too many scar marks, presumably from the digging up?
Pure Pasta is in Saint Nicholas Market and is run by a lovely, friendly, Italian couple.
The food is tasty and excellent value, whether you take away or eat inside the small unit/the couple of tables just outside.
The pair of us left feeling pleasantly full and with change from £20 despite having a couple of 'starters', main meals and a can of diet coke each.
St Enodoc Hotel, Rock, Wadebridge PL27 6LA, United Kingdom, England
A charming hotel. Warm and welcoming and beautifully attentive staff. Such a refreshing change to be in a relaxed and calm environment. Very unpretentious and just how it should be... Super dog friendly.
The food is exceptional. Roast beef cooked to perfection..
Worth every penny.. please don't change.
We were treated to a lovely mothers day lunch here so booked it for an evening with 4 of our friends. Having told them how great the food was we were expecting a good night. 2 of us had the carbonara which when it arrived was like the meat had been previously cooked and then over reheated and was too hard to eat. I put it all to the side and ate half the past when the waitress arrived I complained and was told that was how it was meant to be! I obviously told her it wasn't and she said shed mention it to the kitchen. Another friend complained that her crab pasta had next to no crab in it and was almost all pasta. For the next 40 to 45 mins nobody came near us even to offer us a drink or the desert menu needless to say we left. I really don't like leaving negative reviews and I wouldn't have if we'd been treated differently. Always better to complain when the management can at least discuss with the customer than to go away feeling like no-one was interested in our opinion.
If you go to Bovey Tracey a visit to Old cottage tea shop is a must. What an absolutely delightful tea room. Old fashioned charm at its best. Good old fashioned menu. It's like having lunch at Grandma's. An absolute must visit.
No longer in business, premises is now the cow& apple, wish them the very best in their new location. Shame unique restaurant did not have clientele to support it.
We visited here with my brother-in-law and his toddler son. There were lots of toys for him to play with, and the owners were very carefully to make sure he was OK with their lovely farm dog too. They were also very helpful catering for my dietary requirements, cooking me a lovely breakfast with wonderful cherry tomatoes, still on the vine!
I do think some people might feel more comfortable with a lunch menu, but others would prefer to pick from the counter.
Would recommend the circular walk along the ridge after lunch, and also the pub down the road for a deserved pint, and if you are visiting in Sept/Oct, a tour of the chilli farm tour!
We loved this place but not sure what has happened to it. The service was always nice and friendly and they even brought out treats for our collie. We went yesterday for a cuppa and cake. My wife and some other customers were rudely told off for apparently queuing in the wrong place and we weren't allowed china cups at the outside tables, just crappy paper ones. Also the food offer seems to have disappeared. We left and went to Pier One which is close by and they gave us lovely service outside with china cups.
