We were treated to a lovely mothers day lunch here so booked it for an evening with 4 of our friends. Having told them how great the food was we were expecting a good night. 2 of us had the carbonara which when it arrived was like the meat had been previously cooked and then over reheated and was too hard to eat. I put it all to the side and ate half the past when the waitress arrived I complained and was told that was how it was meant to be! I obviously told her it wasn't and she said shed mention it to the kitchen. Another friend complained that her crab pasta had next to no crab in it and was almost all pasta. For the next 40 to 45 mins nobody came near us even to offer us a drink or the desert menu needless to say we left. I really don't like leaving negative reviews and I wouldn't have if we'd been treated differently. Always better to complain when the management can at least discuss with the customer than to go away feeling like no-one was interested in our opinion.

Myself & 2 friends attended the Chelsea Flower Afternoon Tea today. The service was fantastic, and friendly. The Afternoon Tea was lovely, and very good value for money. Will definitely attend again. Highly recommend. Thanks guys

We visited for a friend’s birthday. We all ordered a couple of drinks and three courses plus sides, so plenty to review! The cocktails were beautiful. I’ve seen a review on here from someone who apparently thinks cocktails should be long, sweet and not taste like alcohol - ignore them - the selection was fab and £9 is what I would expect to pay for a cocktail. I had an old fashioned, my drink of choice, and it was perfect. The wine list was good and they also have their own cider which tastes amazing - really apple-y and dry - beautiful. The food was exceptional. The flavour combinations were beautiful, it was well presented, had a creative flair, and was perfectly cooked. We had a range of dishes from arancini (with apple ketchup! Amazing), pear and walnut salad, crab crostini (my friend said it was the best crab he’d ever had), carbonara (so rich ndr delicious), beetroot pasta (wowzers - you could even subtly taste the earthyness of the beetroot in the homemade pasta), steak and a lovely range of desserts. The onion rings were made with the most incredibly light beer batter (one of their beers) and they melted in your mouth. The only thing that could be improved marginally if I HAD to give some constructive feedback was speed of service but to be perfectly honest, we were very happy to wait for the amazing food, and we were treated well and communicated with brilliantly so it didn’t affect our experience at all, or my 5* rating. Thank you - we will defo be back. This is in my opinion, the best place to eat in Bridgwater.

Me and the family went for a roast dinner on Mothers Day and all i can say is wow!!! A selection of 3 meats and some of the best roast potatoes and vegetables i have had for a long long time. Staff were friendly and the restaurant has a lovely theme inside. I dont do many reviews and i go out for roast dinners most weekends but had to leave a review on this. Absolutely gorgeous meal and we will be back soon x

Visited for bottomless brunch with a group of friends, once again the food was outstanding, the staff were fantastic and the ambience perfect. Will be back again.
