Really great service from the workers. Pasties were fabulous. Definitely recommend to others in the area.

We decided to have a light lunch here on a very hot day recently. We sat in the covered outdoor dining area which was very pleasant, interesting place to see all the activities going past in the very busy High Street. We enjoyed a traditional Cornish Pastie and sausage roll. Both very filling and tasty. This place has a bit of history being started by the present owners Grandparents back in 1905 hence the name , very nice

Really nice cafe. Lovely cup of tea with a really yummy cruffin. We couldn't chose so had one of each, nutella and cinnamon and both were amazing. All of this was served with a smile from the friendly staff.

Perfectly placed to grab a tea or coffee on your way to or from the beach, and the cruffins are delicious!

I have been here four times now, its become a thing whenever we come to Newquay, tattoo before I go home. The staff are incredibly friendly and always chatting away when you're there. They make you feel like part of the family. It's clean, tidy, always smells so good woth the cakes and coffee, I always feel like I'm home when I go in.

Very good B&B in a very central location. But it is very expensive so 'value for money' comes into question. Very good cooked breakfast served in the mornings but for the money it should provide freshly squeezed orange juice.
