Large carpark ideally situated for buying a newspaper and enjoying a peaceful read The cafe is small but serves a bacon sandwich with a decent coffee

Been using this place alot over the years, food is good, portions are hit and miss, but delivery is absolutely diabolical, over a hour and half with maximum delivery charge too. Disappointing.

Banging Chinese and the lad they’ve got in at the moment, Henry is polite and efficient 👍🏻

Kept pointing at the time trying to rush us from the second we walked in the door despite being 25 minutes from closing. It took a maximum of 30 seconds to get in and order but time was mentioned 3 times... really poor customer service. Asked for salt and vinegar, got none. Fishcake burnt. Everything overly greasy- literally dripping. Won't be going back

Nice place but the landlord appears grumpy. I'm assured that he isnt, or at least that's just his everyday demeanour, and he's actually very appreciative of everyone's custom.

Popped in on a Friday about 5:30pm, so wasn’t expecting it to be busy. First impression: smart restaurant layout and far too many staff. There were at least 8 serving staff wafting around, half of them on their phones. We went into the beer garden, which was pretty tatty (assuming that it’s next on the list for an update). We got a drink and the halloumi fries. Think the picture speaks for itself - these were £6.50

The coffee was hot and good,along with the Welsh cakes. The staff were friendly and helpful. Comfortable seating and good atmosphere
