The bubble tea is super! The tea itself is aromatic. The Singapore fried rice vermicelli goes with the tea yummy!

Awful, first time in years I’ve tried this place, old greasy tasting food and even forgot to salt and vinegar on the chips. Horrendous.

Oh dear. The facilities have been updated and they have jumped from an fsa 1 to an fsa 5, so we decided to give this new look Dish a try. Oh how disappointed we were, foo yung literally swimming in water in one hand and chips so dry you would think you were in the desert in the other. Don't be fooled, the food is still awful!

Seriously gone down hill. Cannot take an order correctly and then argue about it. After coming here for 20 plus years it's very sad but that will be our last visit. Plus other friends with us have said the same. The fact it was empty on arrival many times, should have been warning enough. Seems the young lady on the phones couldn't care less and rang back to try and argue that the included chips with the curry are free anyway so we shouldn't care that they forgot them. Menu clearly states curry including chips or rice. We ordered Chips for one person and curry with chips for another and only got one lot of chips. Fortunately Skippers has opened and is awesome so we will go there and Rendezvous are reliable, so we don't need to have that terrible experience again.

Unfortunately we will not be returning. We have always been regular supporters of the Golden Dish but the past three occasions have been incredibly poor. The food hasn’t been fresh, chips so overcooked they are inedible, and bored teenagers serving you with attitude. It is a real shame as it used to be the best Chinese in Malmesbury.

Golden dish has gone back to how it use to be. Homemade chips. And for the price can't argue hell of alot cheaper than the other fish and chip shop.please please give them another chance. You won't regret it

Food tasted as though it had been cooked in diesel oil! Horrible!

Terrible service, received our order of chicken cashew and no cashews! Also Golden dish is using someone else's mobile number.

Been coming here for years but it’s gone down hill! Just had a large chips and fish. £10.80. The fish was small and the chips were very dry and over cooked.

Only giving 3 stars for the portion size, price and cleanliness of shop. Food was very disappointing. Batter soggy, fish was tasteless and prawns over cooked. Used to be a great takeaway but not anymore

Have been coming here for fish and chips for years. Order ahead as the walk in wait can get long as they are busy. Nightmare to park.

Had fish and chips from here today and the fish was decent enough but the chips were way under cooked. A real shame. Not been here for years but used to many years ago back in the 90s and they were great back then

Continually fail to get the order correct. That's if you can get them to answer the phone.....

Consistently good. Straightforward. Helpful. Good COVID-19 systems in spite of being cash only. This time we had Sweet & Sour chicken balls, veg chow mein, beef in blackbean sauce & crispy duck rolls. Well packaged. Tasty. Decent portions. Fair priced. Helpful on phone. All good.

The chips are fantastic and the new vegetarian food looks amazing! Lots of people in Malmesbury were worried that The Golden Dish changing hands would result in a loss of quality. If anything the food is now even better than before!

Fabulous for both fish and chips and their delicious Chinese food. Best satay I've ever had.

Been coming here for years always been good with excellent service popped in today first time since new owners have taken over never again tried over charging me by a tenner they checked again but when I worked it out myself at home still over charged me and food was cold had to reheat in micro wave

I must say this is a local gem. And they are quick, no doubt. Food is good for a takeaway, but I've tried duck options only so far. Fried rice is my personal preference here, I'll try noodles next time. They also have fish and chips and curries, which can be interesting for a Chinese place.

Food is always hot and tasty. Service is fast as it can be. Prices are good for what you get. Can be busy at times so it is sometimes good to phone ahead.
