Popped into Infusions a few months back when visiting family in Calne. On this visit the drinks took ridiculously long to be made and brought over, which is insane considering we were the only table there. It’s likely the staff are on high alert, as from what I’ve just learned the current management are just as abusive as the previous owner… The food and drink quality had always been good at Infusions, but we stopped visiting years ago after the old owner was abusive to a young girl we knew. She walked out crying while we were there. It is heartbreaking that grown adults will bully young staff and take advantage of their need for a job / lack of work experience. Avoid giving money to this ‘establishment’. There are many other cafes in Calne and in the area which are far more deserving of custom. I recommend Fay’s Bistro down by the river. Beautiful atmosphere, often busy yet well managed, the food is served quickly and is always excellent quality. Bonus points: the staff seem content!

Took my sister there as I love it there it is the only place I know that advertises ham egg and chips and use proper Ham not that stuff out of a bag but proper boiled ham my sister loved it and she has told all her friends in town place is spotless and staff really friendly also the prices are great a place where you get real value for money we love it there best place in calne for a lunchtime meal

So the food was quite nice. I ordered sausage bap which came with one sachet. When is one small ketchup sachet enough? I only found out when I paid - they charge 25p for extra sachets, first one free. The sausage bap came with 3 sausages - very generous. My friend had a full breakfast. She asked for a poached egg instead of fried. This was met with some resistance. So my friend was going to change her choice to poached eggs on toast instead of full English. The Waitress then swiftly asked chef if a poached egg was ok with the full English, and promptly it was agreed.The place was very warm (temperature). Lots of big windows, so with the sun beaming down, I did feel like it was too hot in there. Perhaps it will become better in the cooler months.I had a latte, which only comes in one size. The service was ok, a bit slow and didn’t feel that friendly. Overall there are better places locally to get breakfast. It’s a nice enough environment, but not for me.

Popped in on the off chance as returning to Chippenham from Devizes. The service was quite slow given we only ordered toasted sarnies and coffees. The food was well presented and tasted lovely. The coffe was hot but a mild roast. Outside seating was spacious and clean with ample parking. Prices were comparable to town centre cafes.

The fòod was very nice . The only thing that spoilt it was the dishes not being removed after each course. And also on the other tables that people had vacated dishes not removed either . I dont think it gives a good impression of people coming into the cafe when dirty dishes have not been removed

Popped in with my mother and was immediately taken by the light and airy layout. Ordered teas and mum had avocado on toast with eggs which was delicious (although one egg was a little on the hard side). Service was quick and the staff very friendly. All in all a pleasurable experience.

Visited this place by chance in a town I dont normally go to as it was open and I was hungry. They were very busy which is usually a good sign and although it was early afternoon I had a full English and it was gorgeous. You could tell you were eating good quality ingredients. Will definitely make a point of going there again if I'm out that way on my bike.

This is a lovely cafe. I had a great cooked breakfast. Very generous portion at a fair price. They had gluten free bread. The cafe is very well set out and has a great outside area. It’s amusing to watch the staff write out the order like folk did in the 1970s. Very quaint. Lovely people. Great food.

If I could give 0 stars I would! They need to learn a few things about customer service. The way (who I believe to be) the owner spoke to CHILDREN and their parents today was disgusting. Rude!!!

Live locally, but have only been a couple of times since they moved location. Service always dreadfully slow not matter what you order or how busy. This time my niece needed more butter/marmalade for her toast. She's 2 and there are no childrena options on the menu. We were told 25p each. I explained i wouldn't be paying that as our lunches had come to over £40. The girl remained adamant it was 25p. That's fine but perhaps think about the service aspect of your cafe. We have decided not to return because of the attitude of this young server, there are other options in calne now who go above and beyond to give great service.

Good food and the staff are very friendly, but the service is dreadful. It's painfully like watching Acorn Antiques with Mrs Overall. The minute they get more than a few people in it's chaos and they cannot cope. It took an hour to get coffee and a teacake. The coffee went cold while waiting for the teacake and the teacake when it finally arrived was cold as well. Such a shame as it's a nice place.

Lovely little cafe, but the service is incredibly slow. It took half an hour just to get coffee and a tea cake. The coffee arrived first and went cold by the time the tea cake arrived, which was also cold. I think they based the place on Acorn Antiques. Mrs Overall could have done a better job.

Lovely tea room. Lady serving was trying her best but was a bit flummoxed as we were a party of about 10. Ordered a Latte and toasted tea cake. Came quite quickly but no sugar. As usually two butter pats to spread on my toasted tea cake. Never quite enough to cover both so went up to ask for sugar and another butter pat. The lady brought over the butter pat and said it would be another 25p. I thought she was joking. NO. I spoke to the owner and said an unfriendly customer service she was providing. Never been charged extra for a butter pat. She said it was her policy as people were asking for 6/7 extra! I asked for one! Maybe I should take my own next time and ask for a 50p refund.I have been in the catering industry and you do not do this sort of thing. By the way the lady serving was embarrassed and I could see she found this difficult. Bit like a review by a lady wanting 2 forks and being refused? What?

Now cafe for me and offered excellent service and food so hope its not my last visit

Delicious food and very friendly staff.

The establishment is tucked away in the corner, parking on site. I wouldn’t have ever found this if it wasn’t for the internet. We had a full breakfast & a baguette, both very filling & tasty with a very friendly homely atmosphere. Also bought an ornament, they had several on display. Very pretty & modern set up. Will recommend our neighbours who’s partial to some cake. The Victoria sponge is worth a go.

Went with friends for afternoon tea, couldn't recommend more. So much food for such a great price! 4 varieties of sandwich, a cheese scone with pickle/cream cheese, a fruit scone with clotted cream and jam, 2 cup cakes, 1 lge piece lemon drizzle cake, 1 lge slice coffee and walnut cake. A strawberry pastry with cream and a small meringue with cream and raspberry on top(sorry probably have proper names). WOW! All very fresh and absolutely delicious, had to bring some home in a box as too much to eat in one go. Lovely ambiance and friendly staff. Wide choice of teas and coffee. You will not be disappointed!

This was our first visit to the tea rooms and it was a lovely experience. When we arrived it was busy and we had the last free table. The menu had a wide range of options from full meals to just cakes. Service was friendly and engaging and the food was delicious. We bought some cakes to take asay and they were superb too. Excellent value as well.

Excellent, I had poached eggs with spinach cooked beautifully.

Asked for a small breakfast for my kids (essentially I wanted half of the big breakfast x 2). Refused as they ‘don’t do kids meals’. About 2 tables of people in here at the time. Went to Fay’s instead who were packed as usual, I think that tells a story.

Visit regularly and find that staff are always changing, so although friendly, none are ever confident or very competent! Suspect from other reviews that poor management means high staff turnover. Would visit more if baby changing facilities were available.

Sister in laws baby shower for 15 people! Absolutely outstanding!! So accommodating with our ideas, letting us move furniture, putting up pictures and letting our vision come to light! The food was outstanding, and the gluten free had its individual platter with the same quality! So impressed with the service and how much time they put into making our fresh food! Will definitely be bringing my friends to afternoon tea☺️

Visited infusions for a coffee and cake catch up this morning and was disappointed. The tea room itself was inviting and clean, however we were told if we chose to sit outside in their enclosed decking area we would have to go inside and order and pay upfront rather than have the waitress take our order. We ordered a large extra hot, hot chocolate and and iced latte, we also plumped for a slice of ginger cake to share but was told we couldn't have 2 forks. When we asked why we couldn't have 2 forks we were told it was company policy 🤔(never ever been refused 2 forks for sharing anywhere else) The cake and the latte were ok, sadly the extra hot, hot chocolate was only luke warm. Unfortunately we won't visit again which is a shame as it is a lovely looking traditional tea room.

Nice little tea room pleasant staff, second time of going, once before had a lovely cooked breakfast and this time for a tea and latte, they bring a little sand timer so you can brew your tea for the correct time, would certainly recommend and definitely going again

It was a lot of tea for two, so much so that we didn't finish the pot. It was perfect. I had a lemon cake and my wife I think a scone and it was all excellent.

The food and drink are ok/good but in my e penitence of several visits the service is generally slower than it should be. Last time the food was also barely warm... there was only another couple having tea and cake so why so slow? And why almost cold hot food. Had we not waited so long we wld have complained but were by then in a rush. And yes we dud tell the young man serving we were on a time limit.

Really disappointed with my experience here today. Sat outside and a menu was bought to the 3 us. 15 minutes later the waitress came to let us know we have to go inside to order our food and pay in advance because there’s been an issue with people walking away without paying. As customers we didn’t need to know that and ‘please come in and order when you’re order’ would have been ample. When ordering I asked for butter separate to the toast - this didn’t happen. It came out buttered, so the other 2 ate it to save it being wasted. Asked for another slice of PLAIN toast and was asked to pay £1.50 because the other toast had been eaten!!!! Of course we ate it, if it was taken back to the kitchen it only would have been in the bin. After spending £30 and specifically requesting no butter I found this really disappointing as it was A SLICE OF BREAD!

It was one of the few occasions I stumbled upon a tea room 🫖 !!! I have to say I was impressed with the variety of teas 😲. The owners were super friendly and welcoming too. I went for a Chinese oolong tea with a slice of lemon cake🍋. There were also gluten free and vegan cake options too if you are interested (e.g. vegan lemon slice, gluten free carrot cake). The tea was amazing and I had at least 3 cups worth and the cake was just right, size and taste wise. I really liked the teapot and teacup set, it added even more of a tea room feeling. Don't get me started about the little pink hourglass ⏳️💕 The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the waiting time was a bit long. Other than that everything else was excellent. I noticed, or my nose did, that they also served food. Maybe one for the next time! 🥪🥓🍳

I often come here for a coffee and lunch/cake with my baby son. Every time we have always experienced lovely food and very friendly staff.

we are regular customers. love the tea, cakes food and service. felt well looked after and covid safe. saw staff cleaning every table ready for next customers. last time visited had Fantastic cooked breakfast.

The service was terrible and they did not seem to care that we'd been forgotten. Our drinks had been made but just sat on the side for the best part of 20 minutes. Has been slow in the past but this was the next level of poor service. There are much better cafes in town with excellent service.

Rare day out with my husband and was looking forward to lunch. Approached the counter and the lady greeted us with a jolly face and gave us a menu and asked us to take a seat. We perused the menu and my husband went to the counter to order but was told that someone would come over and take our order which they did, all very prompt. We ordered 2 cappucinos and a baguette and a panini. The coffees eventually came over (nice and hot) with some delay but there was an apology explaining the tickets had been mixed up !! After almost 30 minutes I asked what was happening with our food order and the lady went to the kitchen. She came back and said sorry they are just being made. Everything is being made from scratch today so that's why it's taking a little longer (very odd, just today?). The baguette came out about 10 minutes later, quickly followed by the panini. The bacon was very fatty and barely warm and the brie was cold. I complained and the waitress apologised and offered to get it sorted. I declined, having waited so long already and was extremely unhappy. The panini was equally cold but my husband was so hungry, he ate it !! My husband went to pay the bill. There was no more apologies, just brushed the situation under the carpet. Definitely will not be returning. Big shame as the front of house staff were very nice.

Exactly what I expected, proper teapot and teacups, pretty and modern decor. The cakes are lovely. Not too dry. Very reasonable price at £5.15 for Tea (3 teacups) and slice of cake. I'll be going back soon.

Visited with a work colleague for a socially distanced catch up. We had reserved a table outside and I was a bit worried as the weather wasn't great. But I arrived to find we'd been allocated a large table in the corner, under a sheltered marquee, and it was very cosy. The young waitress took our order - a latte and a hot chocolate plus two slices of lemon cake. I was offered marshmallows and cream with my hot chocolate. Just a few minutes later our drinks arrived, very quickly followed by two huge slices of cake. The cake was absolutely delicious and the hot chocolate was good also. We weren't rushed at any time and actually were still sat chatting, not having realised that the 4 o'clock closing time had passed. We went inside to pay and apologised but the young girl was very nice about it and said it wasn't a problem at all. She took our information for track and trace purposes. I felt very comfortable there and will definitely return.

Barely even an attempt at social distancing which is disgusting considering its such a small place. Disgrace of a wait time. I Waited nearly an hour for a pitiful sandwich that i could have just popped to tesco for. Drinks were okay but might have been nice to actually have them with the food. That is usually the point after all.

Obviously a nice cuppa with a decent slice of cake is the heart of this tea room and I enjoyed my visit with a chunk of classic Victoria sponge to chomp through... ...Other types of cakes are available.. Lols

I love this tea room. If you want a quiet cup of tea served in an old fashioned way then this is the place. They also do coffees, smoothies, milkshakes, food. It's a nice little place where dogs are welcome, staff are friendly and cheerful. Nice in the summer but can be a bit cramped if busy. Highly recommend this place.

Came across Infusion as a dog friendly cafe. And it lived up to that. Free little bowl of Chicken for Bea. A nice coffee and sausage bap for me. Friendly staff and interesting surrounding. Very nice indeed.

This a small, delightful café in part of the redeveloped Kings Arms pub. The coffee is good and there's a huge selection of teas available. There are scrumptious looking cakes and a limited menu. In the warmer weather you can sit outside but it is next to a busy road. The service is very friendly but there can be a wait when it's very busy. Dogs are welcome.

Excellent range of choices of cakes and hot and cold drinks, but not to break the bank. I've yet to try the lunches, but I've seen a lot head there for lunch again and again.

This is not just a Tea Room as they do all sorts of meals,we popped in for a Sunday lunch.We all had the lamb roast with vegetables and Yorkshire pud covered in s lovely gravy.All the plates were clear when we had finished,it was very enjoyable.We were lucky to get a table I think it would be advisable to book.👍 ❤️...payed another visit to Infusions November 2019 for a drink and bite to eat,very nicely done out with Xmas decorations, had a lovely ham and cheese panini with a proper full salad including a bit of everything,very enjoyable again....X

Wasn't hopefully when I tried to make a booking as they aren't open for long each day. On arrival I found it difficult to be served. There were no staff in the cafe, they were all out the back. However, when the food arrived it was delicious. I've had lots of cream teas over the years, and this was one of the best. Everything was freshly made and delicious. Thank you.

We was traveling through and was looking for a quick cuppa and drove past so we decided to stop. The place was nicely presented and the options given for the loose tea was nice to see, we decided to have a cake as well and they all tasted nice. If your looking for the whole experience of a cuppa and a warm welcome I might have to pass, but just for a sit down and not to be disturbed this is the place.
