Delicious in Wiltshire

Kept pointing at the time trying to rush us from the second we walked in the door despite being 25 minutes from closing. It took a maximum of 30 seconds to get in and order but time was mentioned 3 times... really poor customer service. Asked for salt and vinegar, got none. Fishcake burnt. Everything overly greasy- literally dripping. Won't be going back

Delicious battered fish, perfectly cooked, with lots of chips.

I wouldn’t say ‘delicious’ we tried them for the first time today. The batter was soggy, the cod was tasteless, chips were not fresh, curry sauce did not taste like curry sauce should taste like and the nuggets were chewy :/ needs a huge improvement to be honest the only good thing we’re the free samosas :/ and the restaurant seemed clean

Pleasantly surprised with the good service provided and the freshness of the food. They cooked it there and then, the fish was not oily as I’ve experienced before (elsewhere) and the chips were good. I’m definitely recommending this place and returning 👍🏻

Stayed a few villages away and was the only fish & chips nearby that was open on a Tuesday, but so glad the others were shut and we made the journey. Really friendly and fantastic food, just wish we could have gone back to try the chicken balls!! Not my favourite style of chips (rest of the family loved them) but the fish was amazing. Samosa's were good. The battered hash browns were interesting, tried them in the store so were plain but I think with sauce they would have been great.

It's OK but avoid the curry sauce

Only been in here for chips but every time they were excellent, possibly as they are freshly fried. Parking is available in the cast park that the ship looks out on to. Open on Mondays too which is also good.

Depending when you go, got or miss. Is what it is, over priced though in my opinion

Always enjoyed the food here especially the cheese burgers or if you fancy a battered Mars bar.

This place is shocking. I had large sausage (not battered as they don't do that) and chips. The sausage was tasteless and luke warm. The chips were oven chips that had been subjected to some form of cooking but I'm not entirely sure what! Avoid avoid avoid.

Had a vegi burger and small chips. Vegi burger isn't one of the store bought bread crumbed ones, was really nice and chips were so hot and fresh I had to leave them for 5 minutes before I could eat them.

Probably the best Cod & Chips I have ever had. Well done.

Good location, as the main high street car park is in front of this chippy but unfortunately the large cod and chips I had was very disappointing! The batter was very think, slightly crispy on top but then a goo underneath, leaving not a lot of cod and no edible batter. The chips are dull, bought in frozen, not freshly cut potato chips and fried.

All fish and chips shops shut on Cirencester so I went to Delicious food was great

Very nice. We ordered 4 large battered cod (no chips as we sorted that ourselves) to take home. Cooked to order (not sitting in the rack and reheated). Still very crispy when we got home and started to eat. Big meaty pieces of fish. Definitely will be our place to return to.

Very overpriced for what you get the burger tasted like woodys leather boot and the chicken basically walked out of the shop it was that raw .

Stale and cold chips that weren't even cooked long enough to begin with. Not chip shop chips, just frozen packet chips. The batter on the sausages was very thin and floury, not a good recipe. Won't be returning.

Portions have got smaller over the years. Tonight's were smaller than 'a child's portion'

Food was OK. A couple of the chips were less cooked than others but still edible. Service was given with a smile. Two things to note: 1. When I was handed the food I thought there might not be enough. I was wrong, it was plenty! 2. You can pay by card if spending more than £5. I would visit again.

Good fish and chips, slightly smaller portions than some chip shops but chips were pretty good. Nice fish and pies.

A perfectly good takeaway although it is noticeably variable, with the quality of the chip cooking being between fabulous and merely ok. Prices very good though, just be ok as I keep going there.

The food was reasonable, they had some new staff in the night I went in so it was a bit chaotic. They are very reasonably priced and take cards.

Refried chips (last night's I presume) and a very miserable eastern European woman who should at least crack a smile to make up for the worst fish and chips I've had for many many years. Also the Chinese food (spare ribs) was bland with a tasteless sauce. My 10 year old said the chips were rubbish and the chips were 95% grease and 5% potato. I could put it no better myself...

Always pleasant service and good food at reasonable prices.

2 small fish and chips and a curry sauce for a tenner. Tiny portions in comparison to most reputable chip shops. Chips were ok at best, fish had clearly been sat around a long time as it was wrapped up straight away, cold and rubbery/overcooked. The curry sauce.... Don't even know where to begin but it was so thin it was like water and didn't taste anything like curry. Avoid like the plague unless desperate

These are the worst fish and chips I've ever had not good value ..frozen chips and fish your better going to Iceland .

Lovely fish and chips, the kids meals are great value also.
