The best restaurants in Underhill Weymouth and Portland South West

Visited on 21st February 2025 whilst on a weekend break in Portland..what a wonderful Friday evening...Landlady, staff and locals most welcoming..A real old fashioned no frills local pub serving good beer and great music..Everything a good pub should be...looking forward to coming back...Seedy and Lorraine xx

Revisited recently, still damn fine fish and chips and the curry sauce was bliss too, in the past we used a competitors shop, after poor service this is our goto fish and chips

A lovely pub in portland, we walked from chesil Beach to the pub. Great service and good choice of beers and good food it has a good beer garden, and the bus stop is 1 minute away

Taking orders online and taking payment but business appears to be shut down

Really disappointing visit. Given how unbusy it was don't order food at the bar, then wait, then after 30 minutes - are you interested in food? Yes - well that will be a 45 minute wait!? What!??? Another 45 minutes. I mean the weather was nice, the drinking the same as everywhere else but they clearly don't really want you to visit and certainly not eat food. I had actually looked forward to coming here, but actually it's not worth it. Find another place.

Lovely place! Great location! 4 adults and 3 children popped in midmorning for drinks and a snack while waiting for others out on the boat. They didn’t have anything snacky available at that time so we ordered some toast and the staff were so accommodating and brought out some little extras for the kids. Delicious food, lovely drinks! All round great experience!

Staff very friendly and helpful. Not quite wheelchair friendly but they go out of their way to help. Food fresh with own flavor. Nice size portions not crazy big portions. No outdoor space. Parking outside. Little bar for alcohol drinks. They do local delivery.

Had the roast dinner which we collected.. A bit of a delay with our notification to say that it was ready 15mins earlier but that could be due to signal maybe.. So we reheated our meals.. Loads of veg choices and came with a side of gravy... We thoroughly enjoyed our dinners and the bonus was no washing up And slaving over a hot stove... I totally recommend Infinity x and although they have raised the prices slightly it is still very good value for money x
