Have been multiple times now and feel compelled to leave a review. The food is absolutely fantastic. Really tasty and beautifully presented. Andy and his team make you feel so welcome and taken care of. Really great all round. Can't fault the Canterbury at all

Partly my fault for not reading the menu but I asked for a breakfast and opted for the ultimate because I wanted everything. What arrived was very poor, a pot of luke warm beans, 2 pieces of dry and cold fried bread, 2 small pieces of bacon, 3 very cheap tasting sausages, 2 dry cold slices of black pudding, a small pile of old mushrooms (could tell they were obviously old before cooking) 2 fried eggs (which were actually ok). I wasn't offered toast or bread and butter. The sausages were awful, I ate what I could because I was hungry but left feeling disappointed. Definitely would not recommend eating here and I definitely won't be returning for food. Which is a shame because I live locally and Morrisons Cafe used to serve an excellent breakfast but it's definitely taken a nose dive

This place is now closed from 5th July 2024 and from the 3rd July is not serving any walk in customers. From 5th July it is only serving customers from the premier inn hotel as it will be used as an hotel to house people fleeing violence from other countries

Went for some food with some coworkers and had the most underwhelming meal of my life. The team failed to inform us the minor wait would equate to hours of my life waiting for some chips to cook. No check backs, no good will gestures and quite honestly nobody with an ounce of customer service or drive working on shift.

We came here for breakfast Staff were helpful, we needed food cooked specifically due to health reasons The staff were very supportive and remembered the following day when we came again Food was served quickly and was tasty and hot Covid guidance followed

I visit this place fairly regularly. Don’t go around lunchtime as they won’t have anything and don’t go in the morning as food is cold. Food should be kept (whilst hot at a minimum temperature of 63°C for a maximum of 120 minutes. So tell me why when I arrive at Greggs at 6:30am (30 minutes after they open) my sausage bean and cheese melt is bordering on cold and my sausage roll is luke warm. This is neither enjoyable or acceptable. They should learn food health and safety.
