Brewers Fayre Elmbury Lodge in Tewkesbury

Had lovely meal, wide choice on the menu. Good quantity food. Staff very helpful and friendly. We had the deal of 2 courses for dinner and buffet breakfast for £26.95p. Very good deal

An excellent venue for an evening meal and business meeting. Bill was particularly helpful and welcoming to our group of 4 people. All the staff are friendly and attentive, ensuring that our evening was pleasant and enjoyable. I would recommend this venue as a great place to meet friends and colleagues.

The outside seating area is a dirty, messy unloved unpleasant disgrace. Staff table service is sloppy, slow and unprofessional. The entire building displays a run down and unloved eyesore in need of a good clean, efficient maintenance and money spent. To cap in all the food that reaches the table, eventually, bears no resemblance to the menu, is far from being hot and poor value for money. The local management and area management need to take a very careful look at this outlet.

Been going here for quite some time but after last nights visit unlikely that we will return. Whole place needs renovation. Everywhere is starting to show its age. Disabled toilet door lock not working, tap floods, floor wet. Gents toilets closed and had to walk to other end of restaurant for alternative. Food mediocre Staff not that interactive.

Really gone downhill since our last visit. Cold food, inedible poppadum, smallest piece of gammon I’ve ever had and cocktails that only just filled half the glass. Will not be back.

Yesterday evening me and my family came to Brewers fayre in Elmbury lodge for dinner. We were taken to our table with care and were served by a lovely lad called Zack. Zack took great care of us while we were here and was up for a laugh and a quick chat while he was accurately taking our orders and when he was serving me and my family our food. Overall we really enjoyed our experience here and Zack's friendliness and all round politeness made it that little bit better.

My husband and i always love coming here, the staff are always so lovely and the food is always so nice, Dylan served us today and he was so lovely and polite a real credit to the company!

Travelling for ages and needed a break. The food was very nice and the staff super friendly. The team of Zack, Mary, Erin and Tim were really helpful and we enjoyed our visit.

After spending the day in Bristol, we decided to stop at Elmbury Lodge for some tea. Although it was a damn site cheaper than Bristol Zoo, we thought we'd stopped at a zoo on the way home. Feral children everywhere and parents not caring. Food was alright but if you want to see free range children then I suggest you visit here!

As my wife wasn't feeling too well, I asked if we could have a takeaway for our room. I expected it to be in polystyrene boxes but it came plated which was a pleasant surprise. The staff opened all the doors for us and the Premier Inn staff did likewise right up to our room. The food, fish and chips and chicken curry was freshly cooked, hot and tasty. Excellent service, excellent food. Thank you.

3 adults with 3 kids under 7, went for Sunday lunch. Food for kids and adults tasty and hot, all plates cleared by everyone. Good play area for kids. Staff friendly, nothing too much trouble. Excellent value for money. Will be returning.

Staying in the Premier Inn next door so got the meal deal, the best choice ever. Really nice, amazing food, staff were very professional and polite. Had a well needed, lovely meal after a long drive and a comfortable welcoming environment. Would definitely recommend and return.

We went for a breakfast deal with 3 young children. Very friendly service great all you can eat food including veggie options for my friend which they were happy to cook on request. Also great soft play to keep the kids entertained afterwards!

Awful from start to finish. No wine glasses available (we bought a bottle of wine) No mushrooms for sharing platter. No real ale available tap or bottle. Staff do not care and are verging on rude. Table not cleared and grubby feel to restaurant eg sticky unwiped tables. Bad atmosphere and half empty on a Saturday night. Chicken in the fajita burger was cold and rubbery. Pancakes cold rubbery and not warmed. (Children’s menu worse than school dinners) Screaming babies and children running around. No one asked how our meal was ! I wonder why! No sign of any manager running the shift. Do not waste your money.

Diety tables when we walked in staff just stood behind bar talking and ignoring potential customers also hot breakfast on the plates was cold and dry dirty plates given out although there was just 1 staff member running about looking flustered...... and it's not that busy management no where to ne seen. No check backs on food stale muffins bread etc on continental table no bowls for cereal

Met friend and her children for the breakfast offer today. Great selection on offer, croissants 🥐 tasted amazing. Full English was buffet options topped up plates nice and hot. Management gave diners a reminder of when breakfast was finishing so they could return and fill up their plates/bowls. Added bonus of the soft play to keep the young ones entertained while I chatted with friends.

We had a lovely lunch here today, the food was fresh and delicious! All the adults and children cleared their plates and the puddings were scrumptious! We sat by the children's play area, so the children were able to come in and out as the please The staff were friendly and accommodating, especially Sammy who made sure our friend, who is coeliac, was catered for. We visited to meet friends for drinks and soft play. The drinks menus were sticky, the floor was dirty and the food did not look inspiring. The soft play was vile - the worst I’ve ever been to. It needs a really good steam clean as you can see the dirt from a distance. The floor inside the room was sticky too. It needs a major refurb.

We called into the Brewers Fayre Elmbury Lodge, Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, on two consecutive evenings in early October 2023. We were greeted by Zack at the front desk where he booked us in (no prior booking) He had a brilliant smile and a great attitude from the very start. He showed us to a table and asked if we would be happy to sit there, it was never assumed the first table would be the best. A young lady named Maddy took our order and was as cheerful as Zack. A lovely smile and friendly. During our meal, Zack came back to see if we were OK and the meal was up to standards. This is a 'norm' for customer service but Zack showed he cared and took time to have a little chat too. Brilliant. Maddy was also in close attendence during our meal but didn't interupt and had that smile all the time. When collecting our plates, she did so with professionalism and care. These two young individuals are absolute assets to the company and should be rewarded for their dedication to customer service. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Elmbury Lodge Brewers Fayre in Tewkesbury and will definitely go again... if only to hear how well these two are doing.
