Staff couldn't be more helpful. Problem with room on first night. Staff exceeded themselves to get it sorted . Highly recommended.

Standard premier inn rooms and restaurant and the best staff anywhere. We're regulars here because of the staff. 101% recommend.

Easily accessible from main road. Staff were very helpful however room was freezing either window left open (5 degrees outside) heating would not work and the mattress was awful, lumpy and very uncomfortable. Collegues room smelting of stale cigarette smoke that had someone had tried to mask with air freshener.

Absolutely disgusting service. A mother and children were refused face to face a room and refused to eat at the restaurant tonight in the cold. This would have been fully paid for with rooms available online!

I'll start off by saying, the staff here a lovely, and helpful. The rooms are decent and clean. For me, there are a couple of issues when staying here. Firstly, the location, which is great to access the M5, but horrendous if you venture out beyond 7:30am. A 15 minute journey was almost doubled, because getting out onto the motorway took so long. This isn't the hotels fault, but it is something to be aware of due to the location. The other issue for me is breakfast. Breakfast is in the pub next to the hotel, as is the case is a lot of Premier Inns, which should be open at 6:30am, unfortunately at this site 2 mornings I have had breakfast, the doors are not open until gone 6:35am, which for the majority of people isn't an issue, but if you have to be out on the road by 7am, you won't be unless you have a continental breakfast. The full English is excellent, very good standard, just incredibly slow service unfortunately. Just something to bare in mind for those who travel for work.

Room was good, very convenient for the purpose. However the restaurant attached, was not up to standard. Whilst the food was of a good quality, the service was awful. We were left waiting for dinner for 40 minutes in a practically empty restaurant to then wait another 40 minutes when I had to ask for them to bring dessert, which then took them another 15 minutes and a second time of asking to bring out. There were a minimum of 4 staff working but were nowhere to be found when needed.

This was just a nice distance from we're I was working . The rooms were basic and functional. The WIFI was not much use unless you paid the fee to use the ultimate level which I thought was a bit of a cheek . Would I stop here again maybe.

Stayed in numerous Premier Inns around the country, this ranks low for me. Not very happy with the staff especially the ones running the restaurant which used to be a Brewers Fayre, opted for the meal deal one night, food substandard and poor so didn't even bother going for the breakfast the next day so do not recommend the meal deal, Tewkesbury town centre is a mile or so down the road with a great selection of restaurants and pubs so well worth the stroll or a taxi down, a big NO from me on this place, certainly won't be back

Hotels fine, only problem is if your a light sleeper don't stay here as your about stone throw away from a busy road and the windows don't block all the noise out.

Excellent service, had items deducted from my bill due to unforeseen late arrival meaning I missed the last orders for the included meal. The rooms were as you would expect with a comfortable bed and a comfortable shower/bath. No complaints.

Outstanding Service from Graham, But Disgraceful Kitchen Behavior from Alex! We had the pleasure of being served by Graham, and I cannot praise him enough. From start to finish, he was amazing—attentive, friendly, and genuinely helpful. He made sure we were well looked after, checked in regularly, and provided excellent service with a great attitude. He is truly an asset to the team, and if it weren’t for him, this visit would have been a total disaster. Unfortunately, the kitchen experience was a complete disgrace, mainly due to the so-called chef, Alex. He was shouting so loudly that both customers and staff could hear him, creating an incredibly uncomfortable atmosphere. What shocked us the most was overhearing him say, “I’m sorry, it’s not my fault they’re fat and hungry.” This kind of disrespect towards paying customers is beyond unacceptable. On top of that, he was shouting at the staff and arguing when we pointed out that our burgers were raw. Cooking a burger properly is basic kitchen practice, yet somehow, this seemed beyond him. Instead of fixing the issue, he became defensive and dismissive. To make matters worse, kitchen hygiene standards were clearly being ignored. We noticed that chefs with beards were not wearing beard nets, which is a basic food safety requirement. This is not only unprofessional but also unhygienic. While Graham’s service was 10/10, the kitchen staff—especially Alex—were the complete opposite. We will be sending a formal complaint to head office because no customer should have to experience rudeness, poor hygiene, and undercooked food in what is supposed to be a welcoming dining environment. Management seriously needs to address these issues before it ruins the restaurant’s reputation.

AS A SEASONED SPA HOTEL TRAVELLER - I THOUGHT IT MAY BE GOOD TO SEE HOW THIS 4 STAR HOTEL FAIRS FOR A FAMILY. WELL LET ME BE HONEST I AM USED TO TYLNEY HALL (ALSO 4 STAR) IN HOOK - AND JUDGING ON THE INITIAL PICTURES - I THOUGHT I MAY BE OK. LETS START AT THE BEGINNING - I DID ASK FOR A PARKING SPACE NEAR THE FRONT OF THE HOTEL. - NOW TYLNEY HALL PUTS A PROPER STAND WITH YOUR NAME ON IT - I GOT A BOLLARD. MOVING ON - THE SPA ROOMS ARE SMALL CLEAN BUT BASIC. THE TOWLING ROBES AND TOWELS ARE BASIC QUALITY. THE SPA FLIP FLOPS ARE OK FOR A CHILDS FEET. SO WE GO TO THE SPA - I ASKED FOR A DRINK THE STAFF (GIRL) REPLIED "DO YOU HAVE ANY CREDITS??" WHAT THE HELL DOES THAT MEAN?? INDOOR SWIMMING POOL IS OK - BUT THE MAJOR DOWNSIDE OF THIS HOTEL IS: 1. THERE IS NO OUTDOOR TERRACE LIKE TYLNEY HALL. SO REALLY NO WHERE TO SIT. THERE IS A COURTYARD NEAR THE SPA MOST OF IT IN THE SHADE AND WITH NO CUSHIONS TO SIT ON. YOU REALLY DONT WANT TO SIT THERE -ORDER A DRINK ? NO CHANCE NO STAFF OUTSIDE. 2. THE BREAKFAST IS BASIC - THERE IS NO FILTER COFFEE AND CREAM AND YOU HAVE TO GET YOUR OWN TEA AND COFFEE FROM A MACHINE(???) (ONE WAS BROKEN) VERY SMALL AREA SO VERY CONGESTED. NO FRESH ORANGE JUICE ITS FROM A BOTTLE. NO PAIN AU CHOCOLAT. FROZEN CROISSANTS. 3. THE DINNER WAS OK - NOTHING LIKE THE GRANDEUR OF TYLNEY HALL - THE WAITER IN BLACK TIE SERVING THE CHATEAU BRIAND AT YOUR TABLE....THE SINGER AT THE GRAND PIANO - YOU WANT TO STAY EAT DRINK - TAKE A BRANDY BY THE OPEN FIRES - HERE YOU WANT TO GET THE BILL AND GO BACK TO THE ROOM. THERE IS NO CHAMPAGNE BY THE GLASS...???? THE MAIN ISSUE IS THAT THIS IS NOT AN OAK LINED 19TH CENTURY MANOR HOUSE SET IN 20 ACRES - ITS BEEN MODERNISED AND SMALL. THERE IS NO RECEPTION JUST ONE DESK. THE SPA ROOM WING HAS BEEN ADDED ON AND ALTHOUGH CLEAN ITS BASIC AND SMALL. OUR ROOMS DID NOT GET A THOROUGH CLEAN - I FOUND THE REMOTE CONTROL IN BETWEEN THE BEDS. THERE ARE CANDLES ON THE TABLES BUT THEY ARE BATTERY OPERATED. . THE CARD ENTRY SYSTEM TO THE ROOMS DIDNT WORK ON ARRIVAL SO I HAD TO COME BACK TO RECEPTION??? THEN THEY AUTO CANCELLED AFTER 24 HOURS - SO HAD TO GO BACK AGAIN TO GET THEM RESET - TERRIBLE. IF THIS PLACE WAS A CAR SALESPERSON - IT WOULD BE A NISSAN QUASHKAI DEALER - POLITE, CLEAN, BORING, AFFORDABLE AND FUNCTIONAL. BUT WHEN YOU ARE USED TO A RANGE ROVER DEALER THEN YOU START TO MISS A LOT OF THINGS. ALSO IN TYLNEY HALL (HOOK) (4 STAR ALSO I CANT BELIEVE IT) YOU DRIVE IN FOR 5 MINUTES UP TO A MANSION - GET GREETED BY A CONCIERGE AND A GOLF BUGGY TO TAKE YOU TO YOUR ROOMS EACH ONE DIFFERENT AND GRANDIOSE. THERE ARE COTTAGES ALSO WITH VICTORIAN BATHS. I WOULD RATE THIS HOTEL AS NO MORE THAN 3 STARS. THE ONLY PLUS POINT IS THAT IT IS 15-20 MILES DRIVE AWAY FROM THE MOST BEAUTIFUL TOWNS I HAVE SEEN. THE FOOD AND QUAINT SHOPS, LOVELY STREAMS AT THESE TOWNS WAS A1. STAFF WILL PASS YOU BUT NOT SAY GOOD MORNING JUST LOOK DOWN.... ITS MORE OF A STOPOVER HOTEL THAT I EXPERIENCED IN PERPIGNAN WHEN I DROVE TO SPAIN. THINK THATS HONEST AND ABOUT IT REALLY.
