The best restaurants in Cleeve St Michael's Tewkesbury South West

Had this Pizza at our local, The Hewlett in Cheltenham on Thursday night 17th April. They do a pop up at the pub. Absolutely fantastic and the best Pizza outside of Italy. Couldn't have been more friendly and we will definitely order again.

Ordered on the hottest day of the year, as couldn’t be bothered to cook at late notice and luckily they had a free space. It was the tastiest pizza we have had since the last one we had from Casa Gees.

Happened upon this mobile street food vendor at the 2023 Gloucestershire Police HQ open day. Initial issues as power had gone down and had to wait... but... so glad i did! Absolutely beautiful. I had the Veggie Langos which included roast veg, cheese and garlic - all in generous quantities. Great staff and scrupulous hygiene. Where am I gonna find another as good? Well done.

Ordered drinks, dipped donut, cookie, cupcake and takeaway cheese scone. Had to remind them about the cookie, was given an iced donut, not a dipped one (but let that pass). Reminded them twice about the takeaway cheese scone, by which time they had sold out. What we did get was tasty

This is a lovely find tucked away in the new quadrangle on Gotherinton lane. Just popedin for lunch and so pleased I did. Everything was fine and they deserve a few more visitors

Best fish and chip shop in the area. Friendly staff who get to know their customers, and the fish and chips are always great

Really enjoyed our Pizza from Fat Toni's in Bishops Cleeve. We had a 20inch pizza to share between 4, which worked well, and was good value. We especially enjoy Noah's ark and Diavolo level 4. The pizza is sour dough traditional style.

Highly recommend the Royal Oak, great service and very dog friendly pub. The owner is incredibly friendly and on both occasions has given my dog a doggy ice cream and a sausage 😄

Polite, clear and friendly service with high standards of food preparation. A very convenient branch which I'd definitely return to.

Thought we'd give it a try for the first time Mixed reviews made me cautious about what I ordered. Turned out excellent. Going to go back soon.

We love it here; wish it was walking distance for us. Declan is an amazing mixologist; he makes brilliant cocktails. I’ve just tried his new cocktail creation: THE DIRECTOR; delicious. He is also great with customers. We’ve been delighted to, more recently, meet Craig; a great asset to the Bar. We are also regular attendees at the Quiz nights. All in all a fantastic venue.

Awful. Got a parking fine that they are forcing me to pay because I parked in P&C and popped in to get some bits for the kids and they didn't come out with me. There were plenty of spaces free an no sigs by P&C. They cleverly put them around other areas..... I will not shop there again which means they are losing a lot more than £40 going forward. Jobsworths!!!!!

As im a regular at costa also have 2 family members work for them also. I found the experience I recived today at this branch terrible. I asked for my drinks to be extra hot and the look I got of the woman doing the drinks. She replied with it will burn you and the face well a smile would be great with a service. Not only that do they not clean the food cabinet as it has thick dust on. Not very hygienic I must say.

Food was OK. Chicken Shashlik & Rice & Naan & Poppadoms & Alo Boonda were all nice. Sauce in Masala was very red/pink! Sauce in Shaktora Lamb dish was delicious but Lamb was very tough & grisly, sadly. The biggest disappointment of all was the multitude of plastic containers!!! Only the Naan & the Poppadoms escaped the plastic containers. We live a bit too far away to simply bring it back for re-use, and I’m not sure - I wasn’t told and I haven’t read - whether SLK wants its customers to bring back the plastic cartons??? It’s all Tupperware type cartons for the Starters & Mains & Rice, and I’m not sure whether that type of plastic is Recyclable either. What’s wrong with Aluminium Foil takeaway containers & cardboard lids? A few improvements and environmentally-friendly packaging and I’d go again.
