Been going here for months ! After tonight it’s a one star paid twice was rude in the shop to my daughter after sending all evident lot prove we aid twice not happy 😡

Best Fish & Chips in Cleeve. Go here for delicious freshly cooked fish,chicken,burgers,kebabs. And always served with a smile. Lovely staff and delivery drivers amazing

Really good traditional fish & chips, also sell kebab, southern fried chicken, drinks etc. Can be very busy, especially Fri/Sat evening so be prepared to wait as its all cooked fresh while you wait.

Great options for vegans, kebabs, fish and burgers. Excellent chips, I highly recommend the vegan Kebabs and Wedges!

Great fish and chips. Large fish really is large! Batter a little on the greasy side, but fish was lovely. Chips were fantastic, not greasy at all, fluffy and crispy. Kebab was tasty, lots of lovely fresh salad too. FYI: Cash only unless you pay in advance. Not a problem if you have bank card as cashpoint right next door, but can imagine a pain if you use your phone to pay for everything.

Good fish and chips, friendly staff, but really difficult experience. Cash only but ATM next door doesn’t always have cash available. Can order on app but it’s in a signal dead zone, so I don’t know how you can expect people to try and download an app and order online. Card payments should at least be an option. I was stood outside for 30 mins trying to order on the app as the cash machine wasn’t working. Won’t be returning as it is too difficult to order.

Fish batter was soggy, ordered mushy peas but was given curry sauce. Not impressed unfortunately 😕

Unfortunately I will not be returning here. We ordered a vegetarian meal here a few weeks ago, and had to wait 40 minutes for the oil to heat up - fair enough we didn't give advance warning. I kinda get that but still annoying. So this time we order ahead and were told by the staff it would be 15 minutes, great! I turned up 15 minutes later to find they hadn't even processed my order. I was stood there 40 minutes again waiting, totalling nearly an hour! I did complain via their website but they haven't responded.

Excellent meal at the weekend. I had the Donner chicken rice box which was a great portion and really tasty. My husband had the two piece chicken meal deal which was huge. Always really tasty and good value too. We will be back.

The fish was cooked freshly and to perfection, it was delicious. The batter was crispy and tasty. The large chips were huge! Nice to see a business accepting cash to avoid bank charges. Highly recommended.

Very nice food as always, mixed doner kebab in naan bread is amazing, fish can sometimes be a bit greasy but still tasty, you also get a good amount of chips in a small portion.

Great food for the price if you pick it up. Marked down 1 star due to poor app and the fact the prices are considerably more expensive for delivery plus a £2.50 delivery fee ( no problem with the delivery fee but £1.90 extra for each piece of fish is excessive)

I use this chip shop a couple of times a week, food is great and Chips are always consistent no matter what time of day you get them, the team who run this shop are always very friendly and prompt and are credit to Queens. Highly recommended.

Absolutely appalling they expect you to pay in cash, perhaps too conveniently after an ATM appeared next door, if you ask me. The staff are quite pushy about this as well.

Just awesome, ordered a delivery which came before the scheduled time and the food was just delicious, fish, mixed meat and chips. Perfect 5 atars.

This is a very nice cheap and cheerful chippy. They do nice pies,lovely fish and fishcakes. Also kebabs and other things. Beware the med portion of chips is ENORMOUS, great if you gave an air fryer because they come out just as delicious the next day.

Service busy and well used. When orders are ready... they read out every item in the order....I suggested that an order number would be easier....as number is individually given....whereas all orders are chips, fish, sausage etc 😀

Fantastic chip shop even on Halloween it was fast and great service. I would recommend the chicken burger it’s really nice. Thank you queens for a great meal.

Tried last Friday for the first time as is slightly closer than our usual chippy. Positives: Slightly cheaper than our usual place; fish was very nice. Negatives: We found the chips very soggy, pale and disappointing (with a couple of green ones that we discarded). The curry sauce was bland and lumpy and we preferred the 'Irish curry sauce' offering of our usual place. Won't be trying again.

Slightly longer wait than normal chippies but worth it for the quality. Everything tastes great, the batter is perfectly done, and the price is good for the portion sizes you get.

Delicious mixed meat tray with chips. Enough to share and didn't find it full of grease like other places. Not overpriced and service was quick even though they were busy.

Good fish and chips and chicken is nice too but every time I order a kebab and ask for all the salad I get practically nothing, have to literally beg to get salad, please guy put enough salad with your kebabs.

Love the kebabs here but they are so tight with the salad its like they think it comes out there wages. Load the salad on don't be shy guys

The food is exceptional! Very tasty and well prepared and you can chose among many menu options. I love the service at the place and always takes care to offer the best quality! I highly recommend this place.

Fab chips and super white cod nice thin crispy batter i like that

Well I have to be honest after asking the difference between the sizes of the fish and being told that the piece I pointed to the man said that's a mini, I thought to myself god knows what a large is because it was a big fish. We chose to have a mini fish and chips. When we got it home we opened the box to find the fish was not the size we asked for it was more like a large fish finger. We share a fish and chips because they are normally so big we were luck to have 3 mouthfuls each and to top it off it was stone cold but its not cheap to go back from winchcombe to complain with the price of fuel. I don't think we will rush back.

Very good portions good quality food

No complaints with the quality of the food. The haddock and chips I had tasted fab. The only downside is that the fish contained a few bones, which shouldn't be the case and could be dangerous. Please sort this out because it spoiled an otherwise delicious meal.

Best fishnchips in bishops cleeve in my opinion

Pretty poor customer service. Just tell the truth guys so people can make decisions. Was told 15 minutes - half of Bishops Cleeve arrive and leave (not all pre-orders before they defend it with that) and I’m still waiting 35 minutes later. They asked me to repeat my order 4 times during that time - really… Food was cold. Just be honest - that’s all.

My wife and I visited shortly after opening and enjoyed the best cod ever!!!! Succulent fish fillet and crispy fresh batter. It literally melted in the mouth!! Then decided two days ago to give a kebab 'a try'. In all honesty I didn't hold our much hope. Boy, was I wrong!! I can 'eat for Britain', but I was struggling 2/3rd of way through eating it. I was astounded by the quality and sheer volume of meat, generous sized pitta and fresh salad. All for £6!?!? Bravo to you all at Queens Fish Bar in Cleeve!! We are now regulars and big fans!

Our first fish and chips tonight, won't be the last! The fish was so long it overlapped the plate edge. The batter was the most gorgeous golden colour, the fish cooked to perfection, so tasty. Very generous portion of very non fatty chips. Peas.... well we may not have them again, weird colour and a lot of liquid. BUT the main part of the meal was really outstanding. Thank you.
