Fantastic landlady, always there to help and make people welcome.

Last miniute business trip arrived very late - 1am due to commitments , great communications text me several times and accomadated a welcomed rest from an unpleasant re directed journey due to roadworks. Absolutely class service , great breakfast and very confortable stay - couldn't have asked for more.

Nice coffee, better quality (and much dearer) than the McD's across the road. Warm, cosy. Friendly staff. Clean bathroom

I had a birthday meal with my family here once, the food was good and I had a nice time.

I always love getting chips for the family from here. Staff are friendly and service is quick, food is great too. A few times recently I've turned up during their opening hours and it's been shut? Hence not 4-5 stars!

Our second visit for lunch, cheerful and helpful staff who always make you feel welcome. Plenty of choice on the menu, very reasonably priced and generous portion sizes. If you are looking for traditional food, value for money in a homely venue then this is the place for you. Looking forward to our next visit.

I went in to see what it was like, and omg it was so nice. People did stop and stare at you. We got our drink and sat down and chilled. We liked it so much we got another drink... I think most definitely we're going back to try the food and entertainment night.
