McDonald's in Stroud

Limited parking space. I planned to dine in but had to use the drive through instead because of the parking situation. Food was good.

Not very busy, food done fast but warm as usual, basic decor

Used the drive through. Order taken in a polite and helpful manner, well placed menu boards, food arrived quickly and was all correct. Exactly what you expect and want from maccy d's.

Every time you get delivery they never get it right somethings wrong or missing then they refuse to give a refund

Couldn't not get the order correct. Had to wait. Not fast food at all. Burgers half the size. Bloody awful.

Like being at a disco the music was so loud and normal poor service but that's all McDonald's

Only 3 screen servers so went straight to till for takeaway young girl served us quickly and well. Drive through was backed out to road junction blocking garage entrance, car park was full. Food was upto normal McDonald's standard edible when hungry and it was hot and fresh.

Nice treat, love their original chicken.and garlic mayo yummy no fries as don't like chips or fries, quick service staff always cheerful and polite.

Management lie to you about refunds, youngsters don't seem to know what to do when things go wrong, service at drive thru is getting slower and slower, food never looks nice when prepared, the app never seems to work properly, enough is enough now, place not fit for purpose

Terrible experience with McDonald’s and Uber Eats! I ordered McDonald’s today through Uber Eats, and one of my chicken sandwiches was missing. When I contacted Uber Eats, all they could offer was a measly £1.98 refund for a sandwich that cost £4.09! This left us without enough food for dinner, and their only suggestion was to reorder it ourselves. No option for them to send us the missing item, just “sorry, reorder if you want it.” What’s worse is there’s absolutely no way to contact McDonald’s directly about this issue. Uber Eats simply said they have no control over how much McDonald’s refunds and can’t arrange for the food to be sent again. How is it the customer’s responsibility when the delivery is missing items? We ended up paying nearly £5 in delivery and service fees for a meal that wasn’t complete! It’s unbelievable that a big fast food chain like McDonald’s doesn’t have a proper customer service channel for such situations. Absolutely disappointing!

Not a 24h store. Drive thru only at night

“Dreadful food. The chips were soggy and uncooked, the chicken strips were stringy and greasy, and the shakes tasted like skimmed milk in disguise. It was a drive-thru, so we didn’t see the chips until we got home, and it wasn’t worth the cost of petrol to take them back. Do yourself a favour and try the other McDonald’s in Gloucester; they shouldn’t be better, but they are.”

Drive thru breakfast, mcmuffins were hard on top and barely warm and missing the hash browns.

Turned me away in the middle of the night even when was waiting for 20 mins in drive through after working 21 hours straight. Ridiculous

Very nice staff specially the brown asian man who was cleaning tables he specially came out from restaurant to my van cause I forgot my belonging at table and he returned. Even after receiving order he came to us for hospitality.

Went at 7ish couldn't get a milkshake gutted not much choice if your a vegetarian either bring back the old veggie burger which was amazing, veg with rice with a hint of curry flavour wrapped in breadcrumb ...

Had to wait 30 minutes from Breakfast pick up and the muffin was cold, greasy and badly thrown together

Just stopped half way on our 6hr journey home, instead of paying service’s prices. All the team working extremely hard, quick friendly service, hot salty fries and really good burgers. Best McDonald’s we’ve had in a very long time. Helps having a reasonably priced bp fuel station next door. Will keep this stop in mind for text year. Highly recommend!

Want to eat in so order on app for pickup due to massive drive through queue blocking the road and carpark. Then go to door and says they are closed.

Quick and tasty, clean restaurant

Went true drive true about 15 minutes ago,they took my order wrong, I asked could pay for missing item the manager on duty (who refused to give his details) used police that was cueing behind us as a weapon told us to walk in I explained it was too warm to walk in it’s the reason I used drive true in the first place, hi response was “luckily for you police is behind you” I told him that’s irrelevant he said we will see very unprofessional the amount of complaints goes unnoticed is a joke they need looked into as they always take orders wrong, and do not fix the problem..

Every single time. It's 30 mins plus wait. That's if they even process the order. Morons.

The wait was quite long, when I eventually went up to ask where our food was it was half done on the side. The guy preparing it had disappeared and left it. Someone else took over when they realised what was going on but I had to keep going up as we discovered missing items. My wife ordered a salad, very little effort put into it, the chicken wasn’t even cut up just thrown in and really over cooked it would have broken a window. To be fair to them it was absolutely manic when we went in. The lad that served us to sort out the mess was very helpful.

We stopped by to pick up some mcflurrys. We got through the drive thru quickly and the ice creams did not disappoint. Plenty of toppings too.

Food prep was very slow, the staff member at the window was lovely.

They always and I mean always forget items you have ordered...this is the fourth time in a row they've messed my order up...someone always gets let down at my house...said I wasn't going back last time...but I had my son over and he wanted Macdonald's so sun morning I go to Macdonald's and the same thing as last time...you get shafted...real shame..I love Maccy d's but enough is enough...😪😪

Food is consistently okay, very convenient location but definitely not 24hr as advertised. -As a night shift worker I often nip to McDonalds as a hot meal but I've had examples on most nights but especially sundays where the franchise is completely coned off and not serving. Understandable that every 24hr business needs tom to clean/take deliveries but don't advertise as 24hr when you aren't!

hardly ever have mcflurries ever i come here all the time and they have mcflurries like once out of every ten times. they are one of the only mcdonald's i've been to that turns off the ice cream machines at 1am every night. WHY ONE AM THAT IS PRIME MCFLURRY TIME. not happy. staff are fine nowt special.

Always check before you drive off

I went to the drive through on a very hot day and there was a big queue, still didn't have to wait very long at all! I really like the caramel iced coffee.

I mainly use the drive through and have had no problems with the consistency of my order, occasionally the quality of the food can vary but this is pretty standard for McDonald's across the board really. The staff are friendly and efficient, when it's busy there can be considerable waiting times for the drive thru.

Used the drive-thru. Waited 10 minutes to place an order. Was asked if we ordered via the app (I haven't as I've been logged out of my account and can no longer access it as you can't reset your password if you signed up via Facebook). Tried ordering a triple cheeseburger, said we're not doing those at the moment. Asked for a double instead and said we can't do that either, why not say anything as soon as you get to the order point? Even though you were out of buns, I could still order the Hat Trick burger (glorified triple cheese burger). Only positive thing to come out from this was the chicken nuggets which were piping hot, suppose they would be seeing as there isn't anything else your cooking on the menu.

Tables were dirty around the edges, made my wife's clothes dirty and someone had left bogies on one of the seats. Took a while for the order to be prepared as well.

Just had an order from just eat. Turned up most the food was missing. When I called to McDonalds they said they couldn't do anything as we were justeats customer. Regardless of whether we are or not just eats customer the food missing was packed by yourselves. I have had food missing several times from this restaurant and the attitude for this is ridiculous. I never leave bad reviews however believe that this deserved it. Do not go here and waste your time.

Absolutely awful hot chocolate. Was literally like hot dirty water. Took it back and they said the syrup was low and replaced it with a new one. New one was just as bad. Can't even make a hot drink properly..

Supposed to 24 hours and available for app ordering however at least three of the seven days in a week you’ll place an order on the app for you to arrive and the drive through has been coned off. On the rare occasion that the supposed 24/7 drive through is open it’s guaranteed that something will be incorrect on your order.

We ordered our food and sat down to wait for our food to be ready. About a minute into our wait, a young man who worked there came over to ask for our receipt and said that he would bring our food over, which took us by surprise proper table service with a smile. He collected our order and delivered it to us, asking if we wanted sugar or anything else, and he went and got those. Best experience in a McDonald's ever. Thank you.

Usually spot on. Unfortunately I've been sat in the drive thru queue for half an hour and counting..long enough I've had time to leave this. I just want some filthy grub after a 12 hour shift. If its staff shortages, I feel their pain but this is nuts. Since I left the initial review I'd like to suggest they change their opening times on websites, claim to be 24hours but have been coned off and closed the last 2 visits this week

Was the car park designed by Ronald Mcdonald himself? I've seen bigger postage stamps. No space to swing a hamster let alone park your car. Got told to park up and wait, when we pointed out there's no space we were directed to a space that was taken before we even left the drive thru. When the food eventually arrived it was fresh and hot.

Fast food it is not. Good food it is not. If you're vegetarian beware...they struggle to not give you meat by accident and you'll need to go back...even if you ask for a vegetarian wrap you'll get a chicken one?! It's slow. The car parks too small. Staff are ok. It's just a mcdonalds. Go here if you don't mind being treated like a number and have no care for service or standards. Does what it's meant to I suppose. It's rubbish food for people who can't be bothered.

Bit of a strange layout for parking and drive thru but to be honest it works very well. Made a big order and it was ready within 5 mins. The food was hot and tasty. Shame all MCds ain't like this with the quality of service and quality of food

Staff distracted. When I opened my burger box, half the bun was outside the box on the floor of the bag.

Just spent 10 to 15 mins sitting in the drive through with not a single car moving at all. Ever been here at 11pm? The place is empty and they still take forever and an ice age to serve 5 or 6 orders. Cancelled my order and just drove off. Somehow cooking when I got home was faster than fast food ?

Absolutely shocking and by far the worst McDonald’s I have ever visited, staff members were rude, order was wrong given correct order so I double checked wrong again. Drinks half empty and covered in coke on the outside of the cups. Chips half filled. Honestly do not go here and if you do check everything.

Unfortunate that they were unable to offer dispensed drinks other than coffee nor was I able to grab a mcflurry with my meal.

Went through Drive through at 4pm. Waited 15 mins for food. Asked to pull to the side which we did and after waiting for ages went in to check food was coming. Arrived another 5 mins later with the explanation they cook to order. I though at busy times food was pre cooked ready to go. Not fun with 3 young children in the car. Won't be using again.

Normally come to this drive thru at night which is when it's busy. We ordered 5 meals. We weren't given 1 of them which was a wrap, and one of the burgers we ordered their was only half of the bun on the burger. We ordered quite a lot and waited quite a while for an order that was on the receipt had not been made or given

messed up half of my order and didn’t give me a refund

Ordered breakfast through the app which was delivered by Uber Eats. When the food was delivered it was swimming grease, stone cold and had a mcmuffin missing. Tried to call store and no one picked up after multiple times trying. Called Uber Eats and they said there's nothing they can do as "The food was delivered within the estimated timeframe". Terrible service.

McDonald's has really let itself go, warm (if you're lucky) food from the drive through that takes ages (over 5 minutes) with food never ready so you have to park up. Awful
