Every single time. It's 30 mins plus wait. That's if they even process the order. Morons.

The wait was quite long, when I eventually went up to ask where our food was it was half done on the side. The guy preparing it had disappeared and left it. Someone else took over when they realised what was going on but I had to keep going up as we discovered missing items. My wife ordered a salad, very little effort put into it, the chicken wasn’t even cut up just thrown in and really over cooked it would have broken a window. To be fair to them it was absolutely manic when we went in. The lad that served us to sort out the mess was very helpful.

We stopped by to pick up some mcflurrys. We got through the drive thru quickly and the ice creams did not disappoint. Plenty of toppings too.

Food prep was very slow, the staff member at the window was lovely.

They always and I mean always forget items you have ordered...this is the fourth time in a row they've messed my order up...someone always gets let down at my house...said I wasn't going back last time...but I had my son over and he wanted Macdonald's so sun morning I go to Macdonald's and the same thing as last time...you get shafted...real shame..I love Maccy d's but enough is enough...😪😪

Food is consistently okay, very convenient location but definitely not 24hr as advertised. -As a night shift worker I often nip to McDonalds as a hot meal but I've had examples on most nights but especially sundays where the franchise is completely coned off and not serving. Understandable that every 24hr business needs tom to clean/take deliveries but don't advertise as 24hr when you aren't!

hardly ever have mcflurries ever i come here all the time and they have mcflurries like once out of every ten times. they are one of the only mcdonald's i've been to that turns off the ice cream machines at 1am every night. WHY ONE AM THAT IS PRIME MCFLURRY TIME. not happy. staff are fine nowt special.

Always check before you drive off

I went to the drive through on a very hot day and there was a big queue, still didn't have to wait very long at all! I really like the caramel iced coffee.

I mainly use the drive through and have had no problems with the consistency of my order, occasionally the quality of the food can vary but this is pretty standard for McDonald's across the board really. The staff are friendly and efficient, when it's busy there can be considerable waiting times for the drive thru.

Used the drive-thru. Waited 10 minutes to place an order. Was asked if we ordered via the app (I haven't as I've been logged out of my account and can no longer access it as you can't reset your password if you signed up via Facebook). Tried ordering a triple cheeseburger, said we're not doing those at the moment. Asked for a double instead and said we can't do that either, why not say anything as soon as you get to the order point? Even though you were out of buns, I could still order the Hat Trick burger (glorified triple cheese burger). Only positive thing to come out from this was the chicken nuggets which were piping hot, suppose they would be seeing as there isn't anything else your cooking on the menu.

Tables were dirty around the edges, made my wife's clothes dirty and someone had left bogies on one of the seats. Took a while for the order to be prepared as well.

Just had an order from just eat. Turned up most the food was missing. When I called to McDonalds they said they couldn't do anything as we were justeats customer. Regardless of whether we are or not just eats customer the food missing was packed by yourselves. I have had food missing several times from this restaurant and the attitude for this is ridiculous. I never leave bad reviews however believe that this deserved it. Do not go here and waste your time.

Absolutely awful hot chocolate. Was literally like hot dirty water. Took it back and they said the syrup was low and replaced it with a new one. New one was just as bad. Can't even make a hot drink properly..

Enjoyed my experience last week but this week couldn't even get to the parking as too many people queueing for drive through! Please sort it out!

Says open 24 hours a day but not at night

Update April 2024: decided to give them another try and it hasn't improved with long wait times at drive thru and items missing from order! Been here several times in the past and have had no problems however recently on two occasions, my orders have been missing items. New staff have obviously joined the branch and cannot cope with the amount of people going through the drive thru as it's always busy. Unfortunately I've decided to no longer visit this branch and have had better experience at the stroud branch who get the orders right each time!

We ordered our food and sat down to wait for our food to be ready. About a minute into our wait, a young man who worked there came over to ask for our receipt and said that he would bring our food over, which took us by surprise proper table service with a smile. He collected our order and delivered it to us, asking if we wanted sugar or anything else, and he went and got those. Best experience in a McDonald's ever. Thank you.

Supposed to 24 hours and available for app ordering however at least three of the seven days in a week you’ll place an order on the app for you to arrive and the drive through has been coned off. On the rare occasion that the supposed 24/7 drive through is open it’s guaranteed that something will be incorrect on your order.

Usually spot on. Unfortunately I've been sat in the drive thru queue for half an hour and counting..long enough I've had time to leave this. I just want some filthy grub after a 12 hour shift. If its staff shortages, I feel their pain but this is nuts. Since I left the initial review I'd like to suggest they change their opening times on websites, claim to be 24hours but have been coned off and closed the last 2 visits this week

Ordered via just eat completely messed up my order !! Missing part of my order and getting the food preferences completely wrong!!!

Busy lunchtime. Parking was a bit of a nightmare. Plenty of seats available. Clean & tidy.

I bought a sausage mcmuffin this morning and when I bit into it I found that they'd forgotten the sausage! 🙈 Gutted!

Was the car park designed by Ronald Mcdonald himself? I've seen bigger postage stamps. No space to swing a hamster let alone park your car. Got told to park up and wait, when we pointed out there's no space we were directed to a space that was taken before we even left the drive thru. When the food eventually arrived it was fresh and hot.

Food felt like it had been out a while

Fast food it is not. Good food it is not. If you're vegetarian beware...they struggle to not give you meat by accident and you'll need to go back...even if you ask for a vegetarian wrap you'll get a chicken one?! It's slow. The car parks too small. Staff are ok. It's just a mcdonalds. Go here if you don't mind being treated like a number and have no care for service or standards. Does what it's meant to I suppose. It's rubbish food for people who can't be bothered.

Bit of a strange layout for parking and drive thru but to be honest it works very well. Made a big order and it was ready within 5 mins. The food was hot and tasty. Shame all MCds ain't like this with the quality of service and quality of food

Staff distracted. When I opened my burger box, half the bun was outside the box on the floor of the bag.

Just spent 10 to 15 mins sitting in the drive through with not a single car moving at all. Ever been here at 11pm? The place is empty and they still take forever and an ice age to serve 5 or 6 orders. Cancelled my order and just drove off. Somehow cooking when I got home was faster than fast food ?

Absolutely shocking and by far the worst McDonald’s I have ever visited, staff members were rude, order was wrong given correct order so I double checked wrong again. Drinks half empty and covered in coke on the outside of the cups. Chips half filled. Honestly do not go here and if you do check everything.

Unfortunate that they were unable to offer dispensed drinks other than coffee nor was I able to grab a mcflurry with my meal.

Actually went petrol station... so don't know... so giving 0... hopefully will improve that one... Next time might be able to use the ice cream machine 🤣🤣🤣( again... I didn't go... but last time I went was "broken")

Went through Drive through at 4pm. Waited 15 mins for food. Asked to pull to the side which we did and after waiting for ages went in to check food was coming. Arrived another 5 mins later with the explanation they cook to order. I though at busy times food was pre cooked ready to go. Not fun with 3 young children in the car. Won't be using again.

Normally come to this drive thru at night which is when it's busy. We ordered 5 meals. We weren't given 1 of them which was a wrap, and one of the burgers we ordered their was only half of the bun on the burger. We ordered quite a lot and waited quite a while for an order that was on the receipt had not been made or given

messed up half of my order and didn’t give me a refund

Ordered breakfast through the app which was delivered by Uber Eats. When the food was delivered it was swimming grease, stone cold and had a mcmuffin missing. Tried to call store and no one picked up after multiple times trying. Called Uber Eats and they said there's nothing they can do as "The food was delivered within the estimated timeframe". Terrible service.

Has improved since my last visit but in my opinion it should be made larger

McDonald's has really let itself go, warm (if you're lucky) food from the drive through that takes ages (over 5 minutes) with food never ready so you have to park up. Awful

Been there dozens of times over the years. But the latest visit, and the burgers were chucked together. A far cry from the promotional photos adorning the place!

Nice and quiet at 7PM, manager offered to bring us our food order instead of having to wait which was great!

Very polite and friendly at gone midnight, no problems and food was hot.

Once again. The toilets were Atrocious. Open urine pipe, full to brim, as one urinal was missing . Burgers were cold. I never learn. Very minimal parking here. Beware.

Probably the best McDonald's I've been too, for food , and service. . Matthew is definitely an asset to the company.

Quick and prompt service food was standard McDonald's

Lady on breakfast this morning (white shirt, red tie, black hair) was incredibly helpful and friendly. Restaurant is also very clean!

Smaller than average makky Ds. Car park was full and cars queuing out into the road.

The food was warm and very tasty, the only problem there is the staff they were all very very slow almost lathargick. Nearly 25 minutes waiting for 2 wrap meals and 20 chicken nuggets. Probably the slowest McDonald's I've ever been too and I've been to a lot. Home and abroad. They all need a kick up the rears.

Visited this site on Sunday 24th September at 20:36 with my family after coming back from bristol the one guy in the kitchen was sneezing all over the food. When we finished the food I went to the counter and asked for the manager which I asked his name which he replied alex and asked which store it was and he replied Hardwick gloucester which I thanked him and as I went to walk away he wanted to know why so I explained to him . I asked him to put himself in my shoes for a minute and explained to him I had just spent £26 and that I don't appreciate my food being all sneezed over by the guy in the kitchen and it should be only right to the customers that the guy should of been sent home as he could be sneezing covid all over my food.As soon as I turned my back he was laughing and shrugging his shoulders to the guys in the kitchen. Little did Alex the manager know my daughter was filming him from the window and caught all the guys and the manager laughing about it.(I want you dismissed Alex) do not ever disrespect me you've found your match this time. I will be phoning head office tomorrow Alex about the way you treat customers because your not mature enough in the mind and I seriously want you gone from that job Alex. I would like to say none of the female staff got involved only the males which was all the males in the kitchen area.

Ordered on app,food not ready at all

Anytime we come to this one they ALWAYS forget something. Like today we ordered three different meals and they forgot to put in the chips. Ended up having to come back wasting petrol.

Really nice ice creams and milkshakes when we visited the first time and service was quick. When we visited for breakfast the service was quite slow, my order was incorrect and the food was quite cold.

Absolutely shocking service, orders are regularly ballsed up whether it's just no straws/sauces or just a completely wrong order. Drive thru is also incapable of handling the level of cars going through it and regularly backs up to the roundabout causing a dangerous road condition as well

Got a completely different order delivered instead of my own. They refuse to answer the phone to rectify the problem, abysmal service.

This is a regular pit-stop with my son on Saturday mornings. He doesn't like the breakfasts as 'McDonald's are a burger restaurant and should offer burgers for breakfast too'. Staff are friendly and helpful. Service and cleanliness full marks. We always eat-in as I don't like eating food in the car.

Always great service, friendly staff. Food is always great. Occasionally they miss out one item so i now check before i leave that i have everything. Decided to try the new bbq burger this time. Got it home to find there was no bbq sauce in it lol.

It's McDonald's, you know what you are going to get. Service was quick and efficient, not enough parking.

It's clean and 24 hours service. Quite spacious.

So annoying 2 nights in a row shut lots of annoyed customers, really shouldn't be advertised as 24hr service because it's not!!!!!!! When open really enjoy it.

No where to wash your cutlery, toilets and showers not as clean as they could be. The site was ok, but probably won't go there again

Average mcdonalds not much to say. Drive through won't save any time during busy periods as you will be asked to park up regardless of queue or how many spaces there are, just park up and go inside if you're wanting your food hot rather than cold!
