Food was great and the 2 ladies that delivered it was very nice as I took a while to answer the door but was very pleasant none the less.

Wouldn't feed this to my dog. Told it would be 5 minutes, 25 minutes later for a curry and chips and a chips and beans. It wasn't busy so god knows what they were doing. Definitely wasn't worth the wait, worst chip shop I've ever been to

Don't use very often but my other local was shut, chips were not chip shop chips, more like oven chips, straight cut ones like from a bag, some weren't cooked inside, not great at all, did message them but no reply

Food order was marked as delivered but I never received it; not the restaurants fault but when I tried calling to enquire on an update, no one was answering the phone (tried 3 times). Had to open a claim with Just Eat to get my money back - very disappointed.

Unfortunately first time using chip shop. Missed two items, kebab was chicken and donner with salad and sauce when ordered donner with no sauce and we missed a portion of chips. Order was meant to be 10-15 but took 25 minutes also.

20 minutes drive for Sunday lunch and they were closed at 1.30pm. - NOT open until 6 as the google page says. The sign on the door says they close at 2pm! Really annoying when food businesses close at random silly times and fail to their business page or do what the sign on the shop says.

Ordered food of there own website, delivery was late and items missing ... my partner, had to drive up there as the delivery driver had gone home they were rude on the phone said to hurry as they wanted to go home as tired. When we got there they were rude said it wasn't on the order even though we had it on our phone the lady behind the counter wasn't interested in looking she said it wasn't on her ticket when we asked to see it apparently the driver had it. A young lad that was working there was very helpful and understood as he looked at our phone receipt a credit to the shop. I asked him who the manager was she shouts out she was the manager if she is then the customer service is absolutely shocking. She shouts out we wanted free food we only wanted our missing items that we paid for which was a portion of chips and a can of drink our order was £33 . Her and this other tall man shouted abuse when we got in our car as they were locking up. There was no need for any rudeness or abuse when we had the proof of our order on our phone ruined our tea completely put us off the food

Had chinese not very good soggy crispy chilli beef squid was like rubber egg fried rice was very bland crispy chicken was flavourless wont be going there again

The sweet and sour sauce was too runny and bland. The same with the sweet chilli chicken, it was very bland.

The whole meal was really disappointing. Black bits in the chips and the food did not taste nice at all so we ended up leaving it. Definitely won’t be ordering from here again

Very dissapointed with Hardwicke Fish and Chips this time. The fish was so overcooked I thought I had made a visit to the crematorium, and there was so little curry sauce it the pot, i needed a ladder to get down to it :/

Food ordered at 6 20 for a 710pm delivery. Arrived at 7.55 after 2 phone calls when we were told 10 mins in both cases. On the app the update said it had been delivered at 7.15pm when it hadn’t even left the shop. We understand delays can occur but not being given the correct information is actually worse than the delay. To say the food has been delivered is wrong and not good for your brand. Thank you

Order marked as delivered, presume so the company didn’t get penalised. Had to phone them twice. Even tho it was marked delivered, it was still at the chip shop waiting. Eventually turned up 35 minutes late. No free chips included for spending over £20 and missing a can of Rio from the order. Never responded to text request update through Just Eat and never called me back. Overall food was average, service extremely poor!

Food was a bit bland. Ordered bbq ribs and they were pretty much bones and sauce, barely any meat on the bone.

First time trying the Chinese tonight and we were not disappointed, great portion sizes and worth every penny. Nice early delivery too and as always delivered with a smile 👍

The kebab was absolutely disgusting the meat was that hard I couldnt even eat it was like it was heated up on high in the microwave for an hour curry sauce was like water chips were tasteless and freezing cold worse takeout I've ever had will never order from here again and will advise family and friends never to waste there money here! DISGUSTING!!

It was late and cold. Curry sauce was barely enough to cover the bottom of a large tub ( and no leakage) could only get a partial refund for the meal.

When food finally arrived sausage wasn't cooked properly and everything was cold so all went in bin won't be ordered from them again what a waste of money

Service was prompt and there's usually plenty of free parking if driving. Ordered battered sausage with chips. Chips were disappointing as you can see from the photo and were somewhat cold - although I did eat the few that were half decent. On the plus side, the dog was very happy and did not have any complaints!

Only downside was that the roll wasn’t delivered. It’s a small issue in practical terms, but in principle if it happened to every order it’s a lot of money.

Went into the shop to collect an order. Greeted by a friendly smile I think the lady’s name was Gemma. Herself and the young lad working were very efficient and hard working orders going out very quickly. Both rushed off their feet but continued to work hard with a smile on their face. Our food was lovely all tasted fresh order was ready to collect on time when I arrived. Keep up the good work Hardwicke F&C, your workers are a credit to your shop

First time we have ordered from Hardwicke chippy and pleased with quality and nice kebab and good value for money chips slightly under cooked for us but all in all good food

Unfortunately found some undercooked chips and the batter on the fish was far too thick, Order should have came with mushy peas but came with curry sauce, Very disappointed.

How hard is it to read the order? I received 3 cans of coke instead of 2 orange Fanta and 1 coke AND I got mayonnaise when I ordered garlic mayonnaise! Ruined my food and hardly any meat this time

First time order and was a little frustrated when the delivery time was pushed back, taking almost an hour an half to arrive from ordering however it was absolutely worth the wait. Portion sizes were exceptional for the price and quality was top. Down side was the pot of curry sauce split but enough was salvageable to enjoy.

Gave us the wrong sauce on the kebab and it went to waste as my son didn’t like it it was supposed to be bbq but it was a burger sauce
