Hardwicke fish and chips in Stroud

Took a while to arrive but was within time limit. Flavour was good but the main problem was it was cold, and the batter on the fish was soggy and only crispy on the ends. An expensive take away tea and not worth price which is a real shame

Worst food we have ever had delivered, it was cold and absolutely tasteless. Chowmein had no flavour or seasoning at all and the ribs were all fat and gristle. Chips could have been ok had they been warm enough to enjoy. Will not ever order food from here again.

Luke warm food. Salt & pepper chicken had no chilli or real flavour to it. Chips undercooked and lacking any flavour

Excellent variety of cuisines & never disappoints

Purchased Fish n Chips, just under £10 and it was pretty shocking. Clearly the fish has been in the hot rack for a while as was very dry and hardly any consumable fish left. Chips pretty poor.

I bought small chips curry sauce and battered sausage and fish..go their every Friday..got home no sausage ...you pay upfront get home and find you have fleeced ...never again !!

missing the salt and vinegar packets with our order, really pale soggy batter not crispy at all. one of the battered sausages came without any batter at all. ordered a fanta orange but received a fanta lemon. bit disappointing.

Missing portion of chips from order, which they delivered once I contacted them but rest of the food had then gone cold. Portion of chips for a medium seemed very small for the price. The sausages were nice though. Overall for the price and mess up of order, we will not be ordering again.

I’m quite particular in places I eat I came across this chip shop and decided to give it a go Proceeded to go in and customer service was spot-on friendly welcoming had a good old chat then went back to my room and proceeded to eat the chips and gravy and I’ve got to say, it’s probably up in the top three chip shops. Don't use very often but my other local was shut, chips were not chip shop chips, more like oven chips, straight cut ones like from a bag, some weren't cooked inside, not great at all, did message them but no reply

Food order was marked as delivered but I never received it; not the restaurants fault but when I tried calling to enquire on an update, no one was answering the phone (tried 3 times). Had to open a claim with Just Eat to get my money back - very disappointed.

Unfortunately first time using chip shop. Missed two items, kebab was chicken and donner with salad and sauce when ordered donner with no sauce and we missed a portion of chips. Order was meant to be 10-15 but took 25 minutes also.

20 minutes drive for Sunday lunch and they were closed at 1.30pm. - NOT open until 6 as the google page says. The sign on the door says they close at 2pm! Really annoying when food businesses close at random silly times and fail to their business page or do what the sign on the shop says.

Ordered food of there own website, delivery was late and items missing ... my partner, had to drive up there as the delivery driver had gone home they were rude on the phone said to hurry as they wanted to go home as tired. When we got there they were rude said it wasn't on the order even though we had it on our phone the lady behind the counter wasn't interested in looking she said it wasn't on her ticket when we asked to see it apparently the driver had it. A young lad that was working there was very helpful and understood as he looked at our phone receipt a credit to the shop. I asked him who the manager was she shouts out she was the manager if she is then the customer service is absolutely shocking. She shouts out we wanted free food we only wanted our missing items that we paid for which was a portion of chips and a can of drink our order was £33 . Her and this other tall man shouted abuse when we got in our car as they were locking up. There was no need for any rudeness or abuse when we had the proof of our order on our phone ruined our tea completely put us off the food

Very dissapointed with Hardwicke Fish and Chips this time. The fish was so overcooked I thought I had made a visit to the crematorium, and there was so little curry sauce it the pot, i needed a ladder to get down to it :/

Order marked as delivered, presume so the company didn’t get penalised. Had to phone them twice. Even tho it was marked delivered, it was still at the chip shop waiting. Eventually turned up 35 minutes late. No free chips included for spending over £20 and missing a can of Rio from the order. Never responded to text request update through Just Eat and never called me back. Overall food was average, service extremely poor!

Food ordered at 6 20 for a 710pm delivery. Arrived at 7.55 after 2 phone calls when we were told 10 mins in both cases. On the app the update said it had been delivered at 7.15pm when it hadn’t even left the shop. We understand delays can occur but not being given the correct information is actually worse than the delay. To say the food has been delivered is wrong and not good for your brand. Thank you

Food was a bit bland. Ordered bbq ribs and they were pretty much bones and sauce, barely any meat on the bone.

First time trying the Chinese tonight and we were not disappointed, great portion sizes and worth every penny. Nice early delivery too and as always delivered with a smile 👍

The kebab was absolutely disgusting the meat was that hard I couldnt even eat it was like it was heated up on high in the microwave for an hour curry sauce was like water chips were tasteless and freezing cold worse takeout I've ever had will never order from here again and will advise family and friends never to waste there money here! DISGUSTING!!

It was late and cold. Curry sauce was barely enough to cover the bottom of a large tub ( and no leakage) could only get a partial refund for the meal.
