Never a dull visit. This place draws a very eclectic clientele. People of all ages and all backgrounds visit and all get along. The most friendly pub on the hill.

I genuinely cannot fault it. The packaging is amazing food is still piping. Even chucked some free onion bajis after hearing about how a fellow kebab house robbed me £35 same night. Would deffo recommend , the guy on the phone was so polite and genuinely turned our shit night into a great one! Thank you GURU J !!!

The best take away pizza shop in Bristol, crispy sourdough crust and fresh ingredients. Delivery’s always hot n steamy! Definitely recommend for an authentic pizzeria.

We visited the Forge and Fern with family on Christmas Eve. The Christmas decor was beautiful and there was a great atmosphere. The food was yummy and the cocktails (flower drop) were delicious! Despite it being very busy, the staff were attentive and helpful. Good work everyone and wishing you all a Happy New Year!

Teníamos una mesa de 27 personas para una cena de obras. El personal era increíble, tan atento, hospitalario y amable con absolutamente todo el mundo. El momento de la comida fue increíble, la relación calidad-precio fue sensacional y la Merluza fue una de las mejores comidas, si no la mejor comida que he tenido en Bristol durante mucho tiempo. Absolutamente perfecto en todos los aspectos : )

Good variety of seafood plates, polite staff and very professional when we required information regarding non-dairy dishes - This was our first visit and will come again - recommend others give it a try!!!

I have always rated super star fish bar however today when I went in to order the portion of the chips was about a quarter of what they usually give. If these portions continue I will find somewhere else as I could probably get the same amount as a child’s meal elsewhere.

Nice enough sports bar, but they sacrificed the kitchen to put in another dartboard. As a consequence I stopped going there.

Best curry ever been coming here for years wouldn't go anywhere else

Coleslaw was bland, macaroni cheese tasted of flour and the portion was tiny. £20 for a beef rib dish and there was about 150g of beef on the plate. Shocking

Very friendly staff. Great atmosphere

Difficult to rate. The micropub itself was fine, cosy layout with (guess) wooden walls and port hole type windows in the divisions. Beer was fine only managed two halves as time limited needed to get back for coach to London. Knocking it down 2 🌟 as the bar person (owner ?) wasn't exactly chatty or friendly with me - and one of the founding principles of micropubs was good conversation and friendliness as well as good beer. So not sure what went wrong here but working in a pub myself I didn't get any friendly vibes. Anyway 5🌟 for the micropub 3🌟 for the welcome. Honest review from me as always.
