Amazing food, I come here every other week when I get time.

Just had the most amazing meal here! Friendly, welcoming service. The best burger/wrap/fries you’ll ever have! And not forgetting the milkshakes!!! It was hard to choose from the menu so I think we’ll be working our way through it. Will definitely be back soon!!

I ordered a meal and the worker in Gray shirt working at till today, He talk with me very rudely. He ask me order your food and stand outside the takeaway and takeaway is empty no one is seated in there. Then I said ok I'm going outside and he ask me if you Don't want to wait outside, cancel your order and go away. And I didn't say him a single word. He was just continuesly shouted at me. This is so rude behaviour.

Absolutely superb! Friendly, welcoming and the food is just amazing. I love the street food feel/take on Indian. I highly recommend the loaded fried and macaroni cheese bites, the Don nanwidge. Look forward to trying more.

Firstly the service is extremely friendly and well organised. I put an order through for collection in 2 hours. I walked in 1 mins early and the food was passed over pipping hot. The guy serving was super friendly and welcoming. I ordered the gangster guru burger and loaded fries and can't express how tasty both things were. The burger roll blew my mind fresh and garnished with black onion seeds. The onion bhaji in both was lovely and moist rather than dried out like some places. Give it a go! You won't regret it

Absolutely had a great first time here. The food was mad delicious, spicy anf flavourly with each bite. I personally got the The Phat G and their Delhi Bomba and they were just chef's kiss. And just like their food, the staff was great too! 10/10 will come back again to test their chicken options, but man, that beef burger hit hime...

Amazing food, great value and friendly staff - portion sizes are great for a glutton like me! My favourite takeaway in Bristol, such a treat.

We are a regular off this takeaway and we can't praise this establishment enough, it is very unique/flavoursome and without doubt has the best burgers and Naanwiches this City has to offer. Highly recommended.

Staff are so friendly and help you pick a meal you can enjoy. Quick and efficient service. As an average bloke I'm never really impressed but that was the best take out I've ever had. I will be returning rather quickly

Took 1.5 hours to get food. When received all the food was soggy. Chips were rock hard. Missed out items from order. Really bad experience

Food is excellent but delivery takes forever. Regularly over an hour and up to 1.5hrs.

Bombay bad boy with extra patty and loaded fries. Burger was unbelievably dry, fries were soggy sprinkled with a few fried onions and cheese sauce. Might stay clear of the burgers next time and try something else, always good to give a food business another chance.

the food was on point to come from london to Bristol, i would 100% recommend you want a donner go for ( The Don ) homemade wrap with a jam packed amount of kebab which left my mouth watering all the way back to London. unfortunately no pictures cause I eat it all

Incredible food. Got The Don naanwidch and it was enough to fill me up for dinner, and it tasted incredible. Would highly recommend and I can't wait to go back.

My first time here, I was very excited to try Guru J’s. We drove to the shop and ordered on the website as we sat out side. A guru and delhi burger with fries and masala loaded fries and an Oreo milkshake to wash it down with. The food took just over 45 minutes to be ready, obviously being increasingly hangry I was ready to complain, but the food arrived. Given the long wait I was expecting a hot and fresh meal when I opened. Unfortunately the burgers were just “okay” and the patties were a little over done. The loaded fries fell out of the tray like a brick ready to be laid at your nearest building site. I highly expect that these were made earlier that day or even the day before and then heated, the fries were soggy and the sauce had split. The Oreo milkshake was the highlight of the order. I love the concept and think this could be much better.

Absolutely Superb! The 'Don' wrap was fresh and hands down better than any that I have ever had before! Extremely fresh and flavoursome. The Devil wings are to die for, marinated, spicy fresh and so tasty. Even the fries were great! What a superb find,a must the next time I'm in the area. Friendly, polite,delivery on time, and very reasonable prices. Well done all 😊

I came in yesterday was pleasantly surprised by the excellent service . The young man behind the till was excellent in giving his recommendations , he suggested the Bombay bad boy which didn’t disappoint .Made me feel very welcomed . A great asset to the team.

Had this a few times before and always been good food so cant fault that. But went there tonight and after pre ordering on the phone we were told 30mins wait which was absolutely fine. So we arrived at the right time waited a further 20mins inside the shop. Before eventually asking how long it was going to be only to be told there were a further 2 orders to be cooked before our order was even going to be started. Girl at the counter didnt seem to be bothered either so we cancelled our order and got food elsewhere. Lost a customer unfortunately and won't return in future. Very poor service. A real shame as the food is good but cant excuse that service.

Truly fantastic burgers with an Indian twist. This is fusion done right. If you order The Original GURUJ, you're getting a perfect American-style burger - American cheese, perfectly-sized patty, great bun-to-filling ratio. From there, you can branch out to the burgers with the spiced beef patties and toppings like chopped green chilies, or drift over to the naanwiches, GuruJ's naan-based take on the wrap. Great chips, from the standard to the loaded fries topped with chicken skin, cheese sauce, onion bhaji, and green chilies. High calorie, highly recommended.

Guru J’s was recommended to us by a friend, and I can fully understand why! Food was delicious! Burgers was probably one of the best ones we ever had, naan with doner kebab was sooo good! Everything is super aromatic and full of flavours. Staff was very nice too! Definitely not the last time we’re ordering from Guru J’s!

We did always enjoy our food from Guru Js, until I found pieces of plastic in my milkshake. We contacted them about this and they said they would be in touch, they never were. Unfortunately due to this, we would never order from them again.

I use to love this place ... until monday ... I decided to get some dehli bombs starters and within a couple of hours I started throwing up and was extremely ill. That night I decided to call 111 and discovered I had food poisoning. I have been so ill this whole week from all the symptoms food poisoning brings but what made everything worse was the virus was transmitted to my 2 year old daughter which was confirmed by doctors! The fact he offered me more food was just completely baffling to me!! At least offer a refund. I'm so disappointed will never be returning again.

Me and my family have been getting Guru Js for quite a while now and we absolutely love it. The cheeky chicken burger is amazing and the staff are so friendly.

Friendly staff and really good food I ordered the don naan warp and the loaded fries, incredible. I don't think there is anywhere esle in the area were you can get this type of food unique and absolutely beautiful 100% recommend 👌

Ugh so annoyed, we used to love it it was one of the best ones we tried but lately it all went down the pan. Meat isn’t spicy, burnt caramelised onions, burnt buns chips hard and a garlic mayo isn’t garlicy at all. Bring back the quality please !

Guru Js has the potential to be great due to the different options of burgers / food that you don't really get anywhere around here. The food has been OK but we have ordered twice from here and they simply get the basics wrong. If u ask for salad and no mayo you get ketchup (correct) yet no salad. The same for the Don wrap, no masala onions, no pickle, no salad, no nothing just plain, this has happend each time we have ordered. It's not the cheapest place so would expect them to get it right for the price. Disappointing to say the least. This put them on par with a general kebab house although they have the potential to be great. It's so unfortunate.

Long delivery time, forget drinks and change if paying with cash..

Everything came plain, no salad both times I've ordered now when all I wanted to was change the sauce from mayo to ketchup in the burger and then just wanted lots of garlic mayo in my don nannwich. Extremely disappointed as reviews were excellent and I thought thier menu sounds amazing. The nannwich was missing all salad and masala onions so just a nann and meat. The burger was missing salad and gherkins so was just a beef burger and cheese. Very disappointing! It's not exactly cheap either so you would think they would get it right. £25 for for not what I ordered even when I selected the items I wanted very bad service!! Get better service at a kebab shop to be fair! Disappointed

We gave this a try on the offchance and very glad we did. Loved the tasty burger and partner enjoyed the naan wrap. Lovely service from the friendly team.Will definitely be back.

Ordering excellent Delivery excellent Food.. not bowled over unfortunately. I ordered the Don with hot Naga sauce and the devil wings. The wings were overly breaded and I think would be better plain as the sauce was nice. The wrap itself was good but I asked for Naga sauce and it just wasn't there. No real heat and very little of it. Weekday order seems a different bag to that of a weekend from what I've been told.

The devil wings are AMAZING! They are quite spicy and super crispy! We love it!! The onion bhajis are very flavourful.

Very welcoming restaurant. The Halloumi burger is delicious. We also had a good Earl Gray tea. A wide choice of vegetable and non-vegetable milks.

Had the Bombay Badboy Burger and Loaded Fries, both tasted amazing, cooked fresh and you could taste the freshness when eating.

Didn't expect to find such a nice food here. Simple yet smartly designed menu. Great taste and kind off a rustic vibe make for a pleasant experience. Recommended. Will be back to try other burgers but the classic is good. I suggest having it with a side if you are really hungry. 🍔🍔🍔

The Guru J burger was absolutely delicious, along with the Bombay cheese bites. The rest of the menu looks really original and interesting too, hopefully I'll be able to try other stuff soon. The Feller who served me was super polite and friendly, couldn't recommend this place enough.

If you want decent takeaway food, this place you definitely need to check out. Naanwiches give it away, which you won't be disappointed with! Burgers, Delhi balls, Loaded fries also an offering.... Had the vegan burger and was pleasantly surprised at the quality. Contrary to a lot of vegan burgers which are a bit dry this one was full of flavour. Really dig the spinach and garlic sauce!

Absolutely amazing, and better than I expected. Cool menu with an interesting take on fast food with South Asian flavours.... Not seen this anywhere else! Everything tasted fresh, flavoursome and was well presented. Ordered via the website which worked very well. Delivery was earlier than they said it would be. Great job guys, I'll definitely be back :-)

I was brought here after hearing excellent reviews but sadly it was a major let down. Burger overcooked, under seasonded. Chips barely cooked through and soggy (and expensive) Their "Raitia" is not Raita at all but just cheap mint yoghurt from a big commercial bottle. . Also e-mailed them twice to complain and they didn't respond. It seemed very much a "style" over "substance", hipster type place. There are a number of family run places on Stapleton Road that do much better food, for half the price
