Absolutely love Cafe Karma, but this was my first time trying their food and it certainly didn’t disappoint. The French Toast was 10/10, and quite possibly the best French toast I’ve had! Lovely atmosphere and decor. Staff are also wonderful.

This restaurant is a little gem 💛 The food was absolutely beautiful! We had the chicken thigh for starters and we both have said since that we can’t stop thinking about it as it was SO good. I had the Ragu which was simply stunning and my partner had the Nduja, he was full of praise for it. Great service, and all round brilliant night! We will absolutely be back - we often travel to get a decent Italian meal, I can’t tell you how chuffed we are that we finally have one in our hometown.

A go to pub in the centre of Bridgwater that has retained a lot of character but still feels well maintained and well run. No loud music or distracting TV screens and a good range of drinks.

Absolutely brilliant cafe, best breakfast by a country mile. Steph and Fliss are both lovely. Everything is cooked fresh to order and delicious. Make your own breakfast or choose 1 from the list.

Can't praise this place enough the food is amazing. The staff are genuinely the most friendly staff I have come across in a very long time. I had a 7 mile trip back home and the food was still piping hot. Great selection of veg, the meat is lush and the potatoes are perfect. Very impressed. Great roast dinner and the fact I'm doing a 14 mile trip just to get it shows you have amazing it is.

I have visited this cafe several times. The volunteer staff are always friendly, welcoming and chatty. The cafe is clean and inviting with good decor. I've tried their bacon, bacon and egg sandwiches, burgers, quiche and jacket potatoes. All are tasty and hot. They source their ingredients from a local butcher. Reasonably priced. Although a church they don't preach at you or even talk about religion. Will return and can recommend

We stopped en route in only 30min park zone. We told the lady who served us. She suggested a few "fast items" on the menu. Our delicious sandwiches were freshly prepared and a good pot of tea served in a very short space of time. The cafe was busy but they managed to accommodate our needs. They were all friendly, food was delicious and did not "break the bank".

Went for breakfast here for the first time in about 10-12yrs and was seriously disappointed that it was just as bad as the last time and why i stopped going. The breakfast had everything deep fried apart from the poached eggs. This is absolute laziness from the chef and from the business for letting this happen. If you have to deep fry your bacon then either replace the chef or don’t offer bacon at all. Deep fried bacon, deep fried sausage, deep fried black pudding, deep fried fried bread (which was so over cooked it just turned into dust when attempting to cut into it). The poached egg was incredibly watery so hadn’t been drained properly, the deep fried bacon still had pools of oil floating on it and was as tough as hell. The deep fried sausages were over done and tasteless. My wife had spinach on her breakfast and it was just bland no seasoning no nothing just bland tasteless crap. It’s just basic cooking that should be done but that can’t even be done by a very clearly lazy chef who thinks the fryer is his best friend. Being a chef myself I’d be embarrassed if this is how I cooked food. For a place that apparently offers good food this is a very poor advertisement of that apparent good food.

I was very surprised to find this cafe right next to the canal. I really liked the breakfasts as they were homemade and in good quantity. They have cakes and pastries and the coffee is very good. The waitresses were lovely and I was impressed that they are animal friendly, allowing dogs to come in and sit on the chair with their owners. También estuve otro día en una cena en el mismo sitio , en un espectáculo cómico. Hay car park para ir en coche

We were in Bridgwater for the carnival back in November and I booked a table here, pre procession / early dinner, purely based on the good TA reviews. To say we were underwhelmed doesn't even cut it. Yes, obviously it was crazy busy, the restaurant was full to bursting, tables crammed next to each other resulting in servers hardly being able to squeeze between, we could also hear every conversation happening nearby. If the food had been good I would have put that down to the place having a cosy and buzzy atmosphere. But it wasn't. My vegetable kebab was so bland, the halloumi had no grilled edges (no squeak either) the oriental sauce wasn't nice and the chips anemic. I can't even remember what my boyfriend ordered just that he didn't eat half of it. Maybe it was the wrong night to visit, or we're just spoilt with the Turkish restaurant we have local to our home. Either way, I'm sorry but we couldn't wait to get out of there. The carnival was however fantastic!
