This place is amazing. I lost some property in here a few weeks ago (worth more than £600.00) and the brilliant staff kept it safe. I’d highly recommend this place for late night drinks with family or friends too as the atmosphere is 10/10 (loving the stripper pole lol)

Friendly staff and customers. Got digital games machines and jukebox. Nice little function room upstairs. Good selection of draught lager and cider, great prices. No food. Open till 1am weekend nights and busy.

We don't often go to pubs, but when we do, we will often pop into The Golden Ball. It's what I call a proper pub, unlike these big companies, it's friendly and visitors are made to feel welcome.

We don’t live far from BOS so decided to drive down for a couple of hours. It was a very cold day so decided just to have some lunch then head home :-))) We noticed this little cafe and decided to pop in, there was a table right next to the window/door so we went to the back of the restaurant for some warmth, sadly the staff kept leaving the door at the back open even when my husband kept going and closing it. But apart from that hiccup the food was very nice, and I would return but when the weathers warmer :-))))

Superb atmosphere, the best steak I’ve had in my life! (10oz fillet) chef was so down to earth and welcoming - showed us different cuts of steak and told us about their source. Went above and beyond for service - orders taken quickly and all staff friendly and polite. Felt a very cosy and happy little village pub. Will definitely be back for more steak and the fresh salad bowls that come with it! :) Thank you so much ☺️

We went in to have dinner only to find they don’t do food. Waitress was helpful saying we could order a takeaway and eat in. Having 2 small kids, we decided to move on.

Typically displaying that their heart and sole as a village Baker and despite being closed during the current lockdown situation they turned out on Good Friday and delivered free hot cross buns to villagers. These buns were welcome and deliciously bakery fresh. Thank you to you all.
