The best restaurants in Purbeck South West

This must surely win the award for cutest pub in Corfe. The staff were extremely friendly and drinks were provided from a good range.

The Fish and chips were excellent all cooked fresh. The portion of chips was huge. Highly recommend. A free sausage for our dog was a bonus.

Don’t eat here staff are disgustingly rude! Rainbow kebab across the road is much more worth the money! Don’t know why the staff thinks it’s okay to talk to customers rude and try talk behind their back and then expect their money! Rude before we even ordered a drink!

Lovely pub in the centre of Swanage. Food was amazing and staff really friendly and attentive. Would defo recommend this pub

Come here once a fornight for a stuffed crust veggie supreme and mighty meaty . Every time it’s well made , piping hot and the team behind the counter are always so really polite. It’s great to see them work as a tight conveyor belt processing orders but still having a bit of banter . Thanks Ian

Have been using Dina zone for years. Never had a bad meal, always delivered on time, if not sooner, and it's always hot. Easy to order online. Have tried other places but always come back to this one, we love it!

We have eaten at the Worlds End previously , this evening we went there for dinner . The new landlord/owner made us very welcome as did our server . The food was home made and absolutely delicious,, and large portions . Highly recommended, we will definitely return soon .

Although most of the serving staff were lovely, one was a little unhappy when we asked for a water refill when they just wanted to take like dessert order. My wife's main arrived a good 5-10 minutes after everyone else's. As she was just having a starter as a main, it may have been nice to offer a free drink or something to make up for the mistake.

We popped into Brook Tea rooms 15.04 with my husband daughter and grandsons, food was lovely children’s meals were good value full English breakfast lots of choice, coffee was delicious young man front of house had really good customer service skills well done ,views over bay were lovely and they also give Blue Light card discount,

After a friendly reception by both staff and locals we were able to enjoy the best Sunday lunch we have had for a while and, maybe, ever had. Well cooked, plentiful and good value are all you can ask for and both of our meals provided all of these criteria. We were in Corfe for a weeks holiday and called in for a cheeky pint on the way home most evenings. Drinks to suit everyone's taste, but for me the Palmer 200 was the winner. Breakfast before we began our journey home was also good value and set us up for the day. Overall, give them a visit as we are sure you will not be disappointed.

We visited a couple of years ago and had the best burger we had ever eaten so when we arrived yesterday it was with intrepidation as we thought it would not be as good again. Menus change, as do staff, but we were so happy that it was as good as we remembered. The chips are so unusual but so delicious too. Huge thank you to all the staff.

Had a lovely meal of a Friday evening, with quick service especially considering how busy the pub was. Staff very friendly and reasonably priced

Had booked a table for Sunday lunch. Arrived to find the floor was still being vacuumed and only one table was laid and we were the only customers. Gave drinks order then, when brought , gave food order. It arrived between 5-10 minutes later. We were convinced the food had been heated in a microwave, my husband’s beef was tasteless and veg was undercooked and gravy was watery and flavourless. My chicken was a chicken portion not even sliced. When we left about 40 minutes later there were three more tables occupied.

Attended for a family meal and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The staff were also very welcoming and attentive. The food was great and curry sauces were especially good.

Mother’s Day menu was amazing and good value. Property has lots of character, amazing location. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Some of our diners were over 44minutes late due to ferry traffic and nothing was too much trouble for them. Large restaurant and good acoustics so you don’t feel too crowded or have to shout to be heard.
