The best restaurants in Yatton North Somerset South West

Missed a meal from our delivery and refused to bring out the missing meal, stated that they were too busy. Staff were rude and unhelpful! They have lost my custom!!

We usually enjoy our visits to this garden centre and we did appreciate the many plants and flowers on display as we strolled around. But then we decided to have some refreshments. There is inside and outside seating and we chose inside. My companion wanted a flat white coffee and I ordered tea. After about 20 minutes I enquired as to whether they had forgotten us. They quickly brought our order and my friend's coffee was just right. However my tea must have been left standing, waiting for the coffee to be made as it was very very strong and almost tepid! The Cafe assistants should be trained how to serve different drinks simultaneously without leaving one of them to be standing too long, especially tea! I cannot abide strong tea and neither can my stomach! Very disappointing!

With traffic so difficult through Yatton we were delighted to find this place when staying with young family. It is on a new estate and used by the residents of the old peoples home it shares a building with, but certainly doesn’t deserve to be avoided on that account. We’ve been three times now and every time the food has been good, the service very pleasant, and the real delight is being able to sit outside in either shade or sun in the garden, with the gentle breeze keeping us cool. The roast chicken on the Sunday visit was really tasty and well up to the standard of a good pub. A few months before on another visit the eggs Benedict was one of the best I’ve eaten. Has car parking and level access for pushchairs etc. not at all expensive. Give it a try! It’s sign posted from the old railway that’s now a pleasant walk beside fields, with occasional playgrounds.

Without a doubt the rudest manager of a pub I have met. We popped in for a drink and were treated poorly. Manager stated that Without a table we could not have a drink. There were many empty tables which did not fill up for the hour we were there. I then witnessed him be verbally rude to other customers. I've been a loyal customer for many years. But do you know what. Not any more. The manager is as total plonker.

Wrington Redhill Football Club held their Valentines Night Gala 7 course Dinner and Dance for 150 guests in the Great Room and all who attended had a great time. Our thanks go to Nick Taplin and all the staff who participated in the preparation and service of food, the bar staff and management for all their hard work. I have visited Yatton Fish Bar for about 30 years. When my children were small (now 38 and 39) they enjoyed getting a takeaway and sitting in the car watching the trains at Yatton Railway Station. HOWEVER, this evening, (we are having a new kitchen fitted) we decided to get something out and remember past times. We arrived just after 1700hrs. The chips were soggy and not properly cooked and my cod was so dry! It was a medium cod, which I would have rated a small or child's portion!!! In the good old days the owner would be trying new potatoes or oils, and ask for our opinions. This evening has put me off Yatton Fish Bar for the rest of my life!!! Maybe I have just experienced a bad time for the business, but how can such a wonderful chip shop go so far down the hill? I would be interested to hear from the management please...

Comfortable, cosy restaurant with nice choice of seating. Lovely warm welcome from James. Great selection of drinks at the bar and lots of choices on the menu. The whole team were so friendly and welcoming. Really enjoyed my meal. Stayed for 1 night, really comfy and nice shower. Again, lots of choices at breakfast. Highly recommend and if coming by train it's an easy flat walk. Nice countryside with birds singing. Loved my stay. Thank you all. See you soon.

Aruana and her uncle were very welcoming at the cafe opened for less than a week! They deserve to do well. Lovely coffee and cake!
