The best restaurants in Nailsea East North Somerset South West

The venue could be nicer but the beer I had was one of the best I've ever had. Nice and friendly feel and will definitely go again.

Wow. What a little gem tucked away in Nailsea. The four of us had a great evening. We started with Duck Croquettes and a Chicken Terrine then had Stuffed Chicken, Braised Beef and Welsh Lamb all cooked to perfection. We finished with Poached Spice Pear, Creme Brulee, Sticky toffee pudding, coffee and cheese & biscuits. An excellent time with great service and atmosphere.

We went for Sunday lunch and had a wonderful carvery. There was a large selection of vegetables, 4 meats and a vegetarian option. It was all cooked to perfection, and kept piping hot. The only downside is that due to it's popularity, there was quite a queue for the food. However it's always been my favourite place to go for a Sunday roast.!

Sunday lunch. Busy but excellent service and helpful staff. Tender meats and good selection of vegetables, fresh and hot. Finished off with yummy desserts. Would certainly return.

Usual Nero coffee. Small cafe. Nowt else really. Staff (young lady) looked like she had had enough for one day. No cheerful welcome. Chairs very stained and tables not that clean. For a Costa coffee, very disappointed.

My first order from this business and it will now be my go-to. Everything tasted fresh and perfect. I haven't felt so excited by selection of 'indian' food for a very long time.

Came here on the banquet night which was excellent value, starters and nans were all great id just say I felt I ordered the wrong curry, my wife and the tikka masala which was tasty if a bit mild for me I had the bhuna tikka masala which was also very mild but seemed to replace a lot of chicken with tomato unfortunately. However despite this we'd definitely come back id just choose a different curry!

Ordered a meal after having a sad day due to being at a family funeral and thought i would treat the family to a take away. But after collecting my food I found out I was one dish short so I called back and was told that i would have to pay for anouther dish as she read the order back which was done on such a fast way that you could barely hear what they said. Even though I asked her about the item and she said that it was on there. Discuvering this out i priced up the dishes and had been over charged and when i made a point of that all i got told was that i had an old menu( which couldnt be possible as i picked a new menu up the week before on passing) and that i was in the wrong. Mind you at this time i had my food at home going cold and was treated like i didnt matter. Myself and my partner both work in hospital as a Sous chef and a foh manager both know that the customer is always Wright and where discusseted by the disrespect and attitude given to myself about the situation. So to sumerise I was overcharged for the wrong thing I ordered and was spoke to with no respect. What a bad way to end my upsetting day.
