Beautiful food, lovely owners. Will definitely be back. Ordered starters, main and sundries, all were lovely. BYOB which is always a bonus.

Amazing curry's with top staff... im a definite regular to this place... i go atleast once a month...

Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, good food, very clean. We like the fact that they use linen tablecloths and napkins, something that you rarely see these days in even much more expensive restaurants.

Curry is the only takeaway I eat, having lived in leicester for 7 years and recently moving to nailsea I can confidently say this is the best take away chicken chilli garlic tikka masala I have ever had. Chicken tikka masala bit tomatoey for me but partner enjoys. I’ve had 4 of these in 3 weeks and they have all been bang on, bhaji, coconut rice , peshwari naan and pickle tray all bang on.

I have been coming to this restaurant since I was a kid, the staff are consistently very friendly and the food is lovely.

Excellent service from the moment we arrived, and superb food. Keema rice and Chicken Nag the best I have had anywhere in the UK.

Used to be our regular choice for an indian meal but we will not return. Mix starter contained chicken tika which had never been marinated but looked as if someone had painted the outside with something red. Main course Lamb Shashlik was so tough it was inedible. When we complained all we received was a shrug of the shoulders from the waiter. Will not return.

We opted for a take away. The staff were friendly and we felt at ease. The food came in a reasonable time. Unfortunately this is where the positive experience ended. The order read out on collection was as ordered but when we got home one dish was totally wrong. We didn't know what it was but it wasn't a tikka masala. This dish and the korma had pretty much the same sauce but the korma had slightly more coconut. Both of these and the sag chicken were bland; none of the usual flavour one would expect in Indian food. During the night after eating this we all had awful stomach ache. During the following day this moved on to being a proper upset stomach. We are beyond disappointed as this had been a restaurant we'd enjoyed visiting but having been ill we won't be going back.

Popped in for a lovely meal. Tried one of the chefs specials and was a great choice, service was quick, without rushing and all the waiters very friendly and efficient, Will go again soon.

When we walked in the restaurant was already busy we prebooked but even then we were squashed in to a round table. We had our drinks order then along with papadooms which came really quickly but had to wait a while for the drinks and asked about 2-3 times. They had people working there who struggled to understand basic English. When we ordered food we were told to try the Chicken Nagashory which was bland and spicy at the same time (NOT FOR ME!). We were satisfied with the service towards the end as a young men looked after us and kept us hydrated. All in all they need to look to improve the food mainly along with parts of the service.

We've been a satisfied customer with Posh Spice in the past but this was not the case on Thursday (18th Nov). As it was a family members birthday, we decided to treat ourselves, I wish we hadn't. The food was cold & mediocre & our order was wrong! We were missing a rice, we called Posh Spice who told us to return to them & they gave us an extra rice for the inconvenience. By the time we got back with our extra rice (which we didn't want) our other food was stone cold. We had a massive bag of salad instead of individual portions where the lettuce was brown around the edges, 1 piece of tomato & 1 chunk of cucumber. It was a real shame it was so bad.

We got there at 18,30, drinks arrived at 19,15,poppadoms arrived 19,30 starters 20,15 main meal 20,30 bill by 2100 service sucked, normally we've finished by 20,00 hours .just to much waiting around feels like they forgotten bout us . The food was 5 stars service sycked and not enough staff as restaurant packed out.

My family and I went for an evening dinner here. First of all, we ordered drinks. These took 5 minutes to arrive: quite a while but we decided to let it slide. We ordered our meals (Starters and Mains) and waited. Our starters came and we tucked in. They were excellent. We had high hopes for the rest of the meal. After we finished, we asked for a second drink and we were now just waiting for our main. After asking 4 times to the waiters about our drinks we eventually gave up. 5 minutes later, our mains arrived. These looked nice however they were in no way spicy. (I ordered a jalfrezi). It was also lukewarm. Around 2 minutes before we finished our main course we finally received the drinks. (This was 15 minutes after we originally ordered them. We decided that we’d just put up with it, pay the bill and leave. However the bill took 30 minutes (more time than we spent eating) to come. At this point we were furious and asked for the bill not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, not 5, but 6 times! We were also shocked to see we got our bill before a family who had a birthday party. (They came before us) Absolutely terrible service with abysmal food. We will not be returning!

Meal with 2-70 year olds. Enjoyable meal with too much choice! Good portions and price. Friendly staff.

Second time in lockdown we have ordered an takeaway from here an twice it’s been cold extremely disappointing with the same problem, take a tip do not order off there Webb site they are obviously cooking loads of orders then failing to keep them warm , I would advise to ring order through then collect ASAP , If there were an second decent Indian in nailsea, this place would be out of business Never again

We decided to get food from Posh Spice on 31st Dec before new years and even though it was really busy!! We did not complain to wait as they were workimg really hard to meet everyone expectations. The food was still delicious and will always be my favourite indian!! Went back last Friday and the food will always be delicious and amazing, Posh Spice nailsea is the place to to!!!!

Quiet midweek. Good friendly service.Tandoori mixed grill was fine although too much onion. Chicken Korma etc was great. The restaurant felt very clean. Excellent authentic Indian music in the background a nice change from some Indian restaurants that play awful soft rock, not what you really want.Great pictures on the walls.All added up to an authentic Indian dining experience. Had a takeaway this evening, delicious and brilliant portion sizes! Would recommend. 4/5 as the free bottle of beer advertised on website with order wasn’t honoured but food was still great 👍🏻

This is our local Indian restaurant in Nailsea. Visited last night and have never had such appalling service in any restaurant. The waiter, whom I believe is either the manager or deputy manager, actually refused to take my first order and told me it wasn't very good. I than ordered a second dish and he completely blanked that and TOLD me what I would be having to eat, a dish that didn't even appear on the menu. We should have walked out straight away but were so taken aback. When the dish arrived it was disgusting, congealed pallid sauce on slices of meat, absolutely covered in whole cashew nuts. What if I had a nut allergy? I refused to eat it and refused to pay and we left as soon as possible. Will not be returning!!!

Collected my takeaway, on arriving home some of my order was missing, this has happened previously more than once!! Contacted the restaurant where the response was poor, no apology, they did offer to supply the missing food ( good of you posh spice as we had paid for it)but of course we’d have to go back and collect it. After all that the food was average, we won’t be back.

Great service, keen prices, lovely decor and plenty of room. Food is well cooked and the menu is varied. The only reason that I've given the food four stars instead of five (others may well disagree) is that I found the food a little "bland" - no real fieryness or rich flavours. I'm aware that for many people, these attributes would be plus-points but personally, I prefer my curries with loads of flavour. Overall though, it's a good restaurant and, particularly for those who prefer a lighter, less robust curry, it's likely to be popular and very pleasing.

Very slow service, didn't bother taking empties from table. Staff do not ask loud lads table to be quiet even when swearing near table with young children. Food low on flavour, Staff have no time for you

I’ve read some of the reviews and must admit to not relating to some of them! We use Posh Spice A LOT.It is a very good restaurant and the food is excellent.The service can be a bit hit and miss but it’s a bit quirky and the staff are very friendly.The baltis and the shashlicks are my favourite.House wine is inexpensive and fine.Great local for both take out and dining in.

Just ordered and collected, got it home and half the order was missing. Butter chicken was dry chicken layered not mixed with the sauce which was a weird pale yellow and thick enough to slice. All was cold. Took it straight back for a refund, never again!!!

Food average, service mediocre, nothing to tempt us back. We should have gone to Bristol for a decent night out

We have eaten here many times and been happy, unfortunately on this occasion we were very disappointed. The service was incredibly slow, the restaurant was chilly, some people had coats on. When the main course arrived it was lukewarm and the portion sizes of particularly the curries seemed much smaller than on previous visits. We were offered something on the house when we complained but by this point we just wanted to leave. They did reduce our bill marginally but this experience has put us off the restaurant.

The service was slow. The sauces to the curry was too thick and over reduced. This was not their best by far.

We visited Posh Spice on Christmas Eve as a family group of 6. The staff were indifferent and unfriendly. Two of us had an aperitif of gin and tonic. Neither of us could taste any gin at all. We all had different dishes and at best the dishes were nondescript. Initially the service was rushed and then so slow we gave up on having desserts, coffee... We had to go over to the bar to request the bill and then return to the bar to pay it although both were supposed to be at the table. When we did go to pay it transpired their credit card machine was not working and so cash would have to be paid. We were told it had been faulty all evening, however this information had not been provided when we arrived. We are not cash people, fortunately however between us we had enough to pay the bill with cash. There was no sense of customer service at all. The atmosphere was dead and the restaurant cold. It was not busy at all. We will not be returning to Posh Spice again.

Haven't visited for a couple of years but were taken in when visiting friends and the first thing I noticed was the poor to indifferent service ,what's happened , we had the special priced buffet at 10 .95 for three courses and Nans side and rice very good value for money .my vegitarian meal was excellent as was all the quality of the food , but service was poor ,no attention had to constantly ask for everything ,wine plonked on the table unopened and unpoured .

Virtually empty restaurant, tables for large numbers but not two people. Got stuck in corner. Waiter was doing everything and seemed slightly bemused. Menu too big and confusing. Chose specialities which were very good, particularly the prawns. Inexpensive, wine rubbish. Waiter seemed lost and it was clear at the mercy of two guys who came out of the kitchens with a swagger. Mysteriously the card machine didn't work and had to pay cash. Fortunately had enough. Few other diners so I don't know why we were stuck in a corner.

I ordered a takeaway last night and I always order a Chilli Chicken Tikka Masala (HIGHLY RECOMMEND) they are always different everywhere you go but oh my god it is absolutely amazing here!

We have frequented this Indian restaurant many times over the years and have always been very satisfied with both the food and the service. I have written raving reviews about it before. Tonight we visited for our wedding anniversary. Having booked and explained why we wanted a booth when we arrived they didn't seem to know about the booking. We did get a booth. The food was good and we tried some different dishes, however the service was terrible, to the extent that we had to get up and go and ask for our bill. There was much toing and froing of staff past our table but we were totally ignored as though we didn't exist Probably would still be there now if we hadn't got up and made to leave.

What a great place to dine, great Indian and traditional food. Excellent choice, superbly cooked to order. Good value food and service

Had a meal with friends & were pretty much ignored for most of the night! Our original waiter didn’t seem to know what to do & kept forgetting our drinks order. He never returned to ask if we wanted more drinks & we ended up going to the service area 3 times for drinks. When we asked for a jug of water it arrived but we still had to get up and ask for glasses so we could drink it! At the end of the meal we wanted baileys coffee and were told they weren’t making hot drinks!!!!

The food was good quality, fresh and tasty. The service was exceptional, especially from the young waiter called Josh. He really went above and beyond to make our visit one to remember. He is a valuable employee to your fantastic business. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the service was prompt. We will definitely be returning.

We often order a takeaway from posh spice and are never disappointed. Its always lovely, really tasty and nowhere on the scale of greasiness like other Indian restaurants we have used. We have also eaten in and thought it was fab - the food, the staff and the decor!

Went for banquet night. The food was lovely and plentyful but the service was very slow. The young waitress seemed to be doing most of the jobs on a busy night. Would go back but maybe a hello or goodbye from staff wouldn't go a miss!

Well according to the research this place has a 5 star rating for hygiene. How on earth they got this or retained it is a mystery. The food in fairness was good.

We have eaten here many times and its time for another review, prompted by some unsmiling service last night. Staff weren't rude, just curt and inattentive - no smile, and a simple 'yes' when the waiter came to our table to take our orders.

Back for more of Posh Spice's delicious food and friendly service and we weren't disappointed. As someone who eats here every few weeks, I can say that the food and service is consistently good. And the value is excellent. Recommended.

Decent Indian restaurant, friendly staff and attentive. Have the balance right between quality and prices

After a very mediocre meal , we were over charged on our bill. This was not the first time that it had happened, so beware and check your bill very carefully. Further visits will definitely be out of the question, after giving them a second chance.

Visited here on Friday with family visiting from USA. Food and staff were excellent although restaurant was a little on the chilly side, although at this time we were in the middle of a snow storm.

Not a lot of culinary choice locally. Have used Posh Spice since it opened. We have always found the service and food inconsistent, but are prepared to accept this and we don't expect fine dining. Sadly however the last few visits have been very disappointing. Saturday especially. The service when taking your order is far too rushed, as is also the case when you receive your food. When there is a party of you making several choices from the menu, it can become rather disorderly. Unfortunately you frequently don't get what you asked for .... despite may I add (waiters, please take note) pointing to it on the menu to avoid confusion. Pretty fool proof one would think, but in practice it always results in at least one or two wrong dishes arriving at your table and all diners looking perplexed! The portion size has definitely been reduced and our plates are now full of onions and sauce, with far less emphasis on the meat. If Posh Spice want to keep their patrons, then I feel they will have to considerably up their game. Don't have a gin and tonic, it's all tonic and no gin, which leads you to think that the gin is not quite what it says on the bottle! Finally the restaurant toilets need serious attention. Not only are they bitterly cold, but the hot water tap has been disabled. Come on get a grip!

We visited here on a Saturday evening. It wasn’t over busy when we arrived, and we ordered drinks. The waiter then took our food order and the starters arrived a few minutes later....so far so good. However when I started to eat my starter I did comment to my friend that it wasn’t quite what I had been expecting. The paneer was coated in a batter that seemed a little on the sweet side, and it was accompanied by a strange tasting dip. Whenever I have ordered paneer in other restaurants it has been marinated in spices and griddle. No matter, I put it down to experience. We then waited for our main course......and waited, and waited. After about an hour I caught the attention of one of the waiters and asked him where our maincourse was. He said iit would be with us shortly and about 5 minutes later it appeared. To say it was disappointing is an understatement. One of the curry sauces was only just warm and my vegetable balti was just a very bland mix of uninspiring veg covered in a gloopy non descript sauce that could just about be described as curry. At no time did a waiter check to see if our meal was ok or if we needed more drinks and the service was generally chaotic. We were in two minds whether to complain, but by then we decided just to pay up and go, as we didn’t feel that complaint would make a great deal of difference to the overall experience. It’s certainly one of the worst Indian meals I have had and we would not recommend it to anyone.

Puzzled by some of the reviews I’m reading here? Me and my girlfriend have had multiple takeaways here and sat in occasionally as well from here and they’ve always been excellent!! One of the best Indians around imo

Had a takeaway Saturday night and it was awful. We’ve had a few dodgy takeaways over the last few month, thought give it one last try... won’t be doing so again.

Although we've lived in the area for some time, this was only our second or third visit to Posh Spice. Our previous visits were somewhat uninspiring so we didn't go back. However, we had some vegan friends come to stay (even though one of them was eating meat on this trip) and wanted a good Dahl. So I booked the restaurant not expecting much but how wrong was I. What a transformation! The food was excellent, although it was busy the service was reasonably first and overall the experience was great. I can recommend the vegetable dishes and the Biryanis. I look forward to eating here again, possibly during one of their banquet nights.

La única queja fue que 4 eran una casi poppadoms fiver, lo que nos pareció muy caro para lo que es! Estoy sorprendido por las críticas de aquí, ya que hemos tenido un montón de curry y pensamos que este era muy buena y sabrosa!

We went to posh spice and it was a fantastic meal. We had the banquet which was a very reasonable price for a starter. Main. Vegetable side dish and man or rice. The meal was very nice and we're looking forward to going again. This is the second time here. The first was a take away which was equally as nice.

Visited Posh Spice on their banquet night. Despite having a table booked we weren't seated until 20mins after the time of the booking. When we walked in we were just left standing at the bar, not so much as a welcome or an enquiry by the staff as to if we were there for a table or takeaway. When we were eventually seated it took an age for them to ask if we wanted poppadoms & we had to prompt them to take a drinks order. It then took over an hour (and a confrontation with the waiter) before our starters even arrive. They were rather meagre offerings and weren't warm at all. When the main course came out the meat was dry and lacked any flavour or spice. We did get an apology as to the delay in getting our food, the order got put in someone's pocket rather than given to the kitchen, and they didn't charge us for one round of drinks. We won't be going to back anytime soon.

We have eaten here a few times now. The food and service are fine. I do think that some dishes seem to taste the same as if they have the same base and I don't mind that.

Bought a take away from here several times for the whole family. Plenty of choice on the menu, the service is quick and the food is always good quality. The staff are friendly and always throw in some free poppadoms or a free drink. I have dined in the restaurant before and it has a nice laid back atmosphere with Indian music. Recommended for a decent Indian meal.

My first time here at Posh Spice. Great atmosphere, even though not quite as busy in the restaurant as I expected it to be for a Friday night, but reasonably full.Food was fantastic. Piping hot, delicious, good portion sizes and efficiently delivered.Now planning next visit.

Standard of service and food always excellent, nothing is too much trouble for these guys. Lovely atmosphere for couples, groups and families, several small children were there and enjoying the food immensely.

I've been a frequent visitor to Posh Spice for some considerable time now, food is generally good quality but sadly I've noticed recently that the takeaway portions are quite often not what you would expect, when you take it home and open it up the trays are only filled up to a maximum of 2/3rds full, very disappointing indeed, if I was a suspicious person I would think that this was not a mistake but done to cut back on costs!I won't be ordering from there again as I feel very short changed, if you decide to order though please check your portion size is the same size as the tray they sell it it!!!

We all decided to try different dishes and found all three choices delicious. Lamb khorma, Chicken khorma and Chicken Muldoh. We loved the complimentary orange slices to clean our pallette at the end of the meal. The atmosphere is both romantic and cosy.It is clean and tidy. Staff are friendly and hardworking. It is very popular so I recommend booking.Good value for money and portions are adequate.I would recommend and can't wait to return. Takeaways are very popular here.

We are frequent visitors on banquet nights, great value for £10.95. We've never had a bad meal, all arrive piping hot and all very tasty. Don't bother with poppadoms as they are filling and you won't finish the main meal!

We visit this restaurant frequently and all the food has been great. Buffet night is good value and loads of food.

Great night, not too busy as it is a special price night of £10.95 for the menu.Popadoms are quite expensive though and really prevent you from finishing the main meal. On the plus side they provide doggy dishes so you can take away what's left.The owner is very attentive and will take your starter order before you place the main order, obviously to save time.

We had a family celebration here with ten adults of varying ages and an 18month old baby. We all enjoyed the meals, and those who did not want spicy food (IBS and various other digestive problems) did not get anything they did not like. My only disappointment was the chicken shashlik masala which although listed as a chef's recommendation, did not taste of very much at all. Maybe they decided we oldies all did not want any spice? The 18 month old had a lovely kashmir chicken (I sampled a little of) which she thought was great as it had lychees and bananas. The vegetarian in our party was very happy with their meal choices. Service was good, but not over attentive and we were all given a free calendar (this was late in the year) as we left.

We have regularly had good take aways from here. The food is consistent and ready when suggested. Itmay not be as adventurous as some as it serves standard Indian take away food. It does this well.

We opted for a take away Biryani with poppadoms and naan bread for two to share costing £10.Quite frankly, when we got home perhaps the best place for it should have been straight in the bin! The Biryani was bland and stodgy, the naan likewise and the poppadoms were absolutely disgusting! Really quite strange how a simple poppadom can taste so bad, it must be the cooking oil?Not the end of the world however its the end of any future visits for me!

We were a takeaway customer. After driving home and waiting over 20 minutes after our collection time, food freezing cold. Called and spoke to manager who promised our next meal free. Tried ordering food this evening and infact a smaller order and was told that because the order was so large they would only pay 50% of the meal. Their service is an absolute disgrace. Avoid at all costs.

Looks a bit bright and garish but don't let that put you off the food. We had takeaway which was simply that notch above your usual takeaway to make you say this will be my default.

Wednesday banquet coincided with a birthday. Three of us had change out of £50 with two rounds of drinks. Great curry and dining experience. We will return!

It's as good as it once was, boss man has sorted the historical problems where a Dhansak looked like a Rogan which looked just like my mate's the Pathia across the table. The staff have always been and continue to be, very welcoming and very friendly. Why four stars, not five I hear you thinking?They've left us alone and I've had to go to the bar on both of my recent visits in order to get the bill, nothing dramatic and some may say consider it petty.

More often than not items have been added to our bills that were not ordered. When pointed-out they play dumb or 'poor English'.In last couple of visits we were not impressed by the food which once great, has now become mediocre and overpriced.It's a shame but Posh Spice has lost the shine it once had for us and is off our list of good local places to eat or takeaway.

By far our favourite place to eat in Nailsea, the banquet night on Wednesdays and Thursday's are amazing value & you can't go wrong for a mid-week treat. I do agree with other reviewers that last year things went slightly downhill with having to wait for almost an hour for a takeaway despite being told it would only take 20 minutes & coming home with an incomplete order but I'm pleased to see that things have changed for the better again and my last few visits (both takeaway and restaurant) have been perfect and therefore I couldn't recommend posh spice enough!

This was once our favourite Indian, it went through a rocky patch but glad to say that it is now back on track and exceeding expectations. Very tasty food, attentive staff and I have to say great value for money. Perhaps recent reviewers have had unusually bad experiences, that is a pity but from my perspective you can't go far wrong. Worth another visit, I believe so. For me Posh Spice is back on top.

Have used this Indian for many years and it has always been very hit and miss. Well, had a takeaway on Saturday and we were missing a dish (2nd time this has happened)! Called to advise and a very couldn't care less attitude, the manager wasn't there, then he was busy!! Says it all really. What did turn up was pretty awful, only decent part was the poppadoms. We didn't even get a refund for the missing dish!!! Will never be going there again shame as only Indian in the local area.

Don't let the name fool you , this is a very pleasant local eatery on the High Street in Nailsea . Moderately priced and excellent service .

Been here a few times, purely because its the only indian reasturant in the town.The last time we went my girlfriend ordered a chicken tikka korma, which sounded like a good idea but boy were we wrong.The meal tasted of a combination of puke and mouthwash and we tried our hardest to force the food down our throats but it was simply put vile.When we told the waiter he started giggling and shuffling around like a ballroom dancer. No refund or appology offered. Pathetic.In general the staff members are as dim as the lighting in the reasturant and I wouldnt exactly describe them as friendly. They take hours to bring over the drinks and also the bill.Only eat here if you have to and if you want a good indian meal go to the one across the road, the indian cottage.

The title says it all, really, but anyway: the food here is fabulous. I know most people always order the same thing in Indian restaurants, but it's really worth experimenting here: you're sure to find something new and wonderful. He won't hear of going anywhere else. And recently on the streetlife.com community website for our area I discovered a number of other local fans, and we organised a dinner there as a get-together. Plus I have my office Christmas party there. I work for myself so it's a table for one, but I look forward to it every year :-)

The food is OK. It would be fine as a take away. But.. I have been twice now and both times it was half full and early evening. Both times we waited at least 45 minutes for the food to arrive. One main didn't arrive as asked for and there was an extra round of drinks that we didn't order on the bill.

We have regularly eaten here and been very satisfied until tonight . There were several things that were wrong including the attitude of the staff . Service was abysmally slow as take away orders seemed to get preference.My main course was served after everybody else and was wrong . I was told it would be deducted from the bill but it wasn't . Drinks were not itemised and then there was a additional amount of £8.95 for a second Diet Coke! This was then changed to somebody else's order being added by mistake. When I said that I was not happy about the evening's experience, the response could not have been more casual. So that will be our last experience at that particular restaurant. A great pity as there are no others nearby.

Wednesday and Thursday nights are banquet night so great value for money ..food was good , staff friendly .. We were served by a young man named James who was lovely and helpful .

We were a table of six on a Saturday evening. The restaurant was probably about half full but had a very nice atmosphere. The food was very good, the service was great -would thoroughly recommend it.

Ten of us turned up in anticipation of a good night out. Ten of us were not disappointed! This was a great dining experience as we had all been before and have never been disappointed with either the food or the service. I will not go into details here but, if you have not tried Posh Spice in Nailsea then you have been missing out. We'll be back.

Visit Posh Spice a couple of times a year and the service and food has always been excellent and very good value. Went there last night and standards were as high as ever.The staff were attentive but we were never rushed

The meal itself was of a very good quality. The service was very poor and to wait an hour and a half until the food arrived was bad enough, it then took 15 minutes from the time the first dish was put on the table to the time the last one was.

The worst restaurant in the world waited 45 mins for our drinks. The waiter needs a personality injection . Advice get a takeaway from the Indian cottage.

We (myself and my wife) came on a Saturday night on the off chance there would be a table available after a 10 minute wait we were shown to the table by a very disgruntled female member of staff. we ordered 2 beers and some poppadoms whilst we went through the menu, they came relatively quick and we dug in and waited to order, time went by and no one came to take our order we finished the beers and poppadoms and still no one had came to take our order (we were shoved in the corner so was difficult to get anyone's attention). Whilst we were looking through the menu the table next to us food arrived to which they sent it all back because it was cold. We were then in 2 minds whether to order but we figured we'd try it out as never been before. Whilst we continued to wait the young girl who showed us to the table was very loudly berated by one of the guys behind the bar across the restaurant in full view and earshot of every customer, we didn't see her again after that hopefully she seen sense and quit. after a further 20 mins of waiting we decided to leave ordering, pay for our drinks and poppadoms. We finally had a young miserable looking lad with the service skills of a goldfish come over to take our order, I said we had changed our minds and we just wanted to pay for our drinks etc. he disappeared and came back and said 'that's a tenner' I whip out my debit card and he runs off to get the card machine, he comes back and says the manager said you can't pay for it on card ( bit perplexed by that one but after some consideration I figured it was the guy behind the bar way of getting back at us for leaving) I only had £8 in cash so told the young lad this he disappeared again and came back and said that was OK - No apology from the manager only the young lad (which was mumbled under his breath) no acknowledgement of the poor service and a nice snarling look from the A fore mentioned bloke behind the bar (I assume he was in charge).We left wouldn't return and as we were leaving we over heard one table say they had been waiting an hour and 10 mins for food !!We wasted an hour on 2 expensive beers and some greasy poppadoms i am surprised people still go there after the poor service on offer!!.

Enjoyable meal on a Thursday evening. Food came quickly and was very nice. Good quality meat (lamb and chicken) and generous portions.
