My first Sunday roast here. Very good but I would have loved it if the roast potatoes looked more roasted and the green beans cooked slightly longer. They were too crunchy for me. Also a lighter dessert option would have been welcomed, other than ice cream.

Lovely pub, never been before but went with the in-laws who go quite regularly and we can see why - hoping to take all the family for a Christmas meal😄

Went here with my 2 kids for lunch. I had a chicken melt with chips, salad and coleslaw. It was very tasty. The coleslaw was really delicious. My boys both had pizza and beans. Friendly staff and nice choice on the menu

Pub is well known for its popular Sunday carvery, and the standard was good as always. However the same cannot be said for my wife's lamb tagine. The menu said it would come with couscous, but was actually served with rice. We were not told of the switch when ordering. Worse, the lamb was very tough. Told the waitress this when she cleared the plates, and also when paying at the bar. Both said they would "let the kitchen know" but no offer of recompense. The choice of low / zero alcohol beer was also disappointing. Offered only lager or Guinness; most pubs nowadays will also have low / zero ale and cider.

Dinner for 2, our first and only time here. First impressions were great to be fair, staff attentive when seating you at the table. First drinks served quickly, dinner was OK, not great, pie and veg looked like a school dinner so 0 out of 10 for presentation. Wine served in a dirty glass. Chicken souvlaki was mediocre, chicken rubbery. We were told it was all table service for both food and drinks, well it took an age to flag down staff to get another drink! Not the way to go if you want to make sales/money. Very slow service. The cost was way expensive for what it was. Pity, expected better.

Old Farmhouse is a lovely pub to eat at. The staff are very friendly and relaxed. Took the order efficiently without being pushy. Service was well done and efficient even though it was busy The food is excellent with good quality honest cooking. Even the kids food is carefully made: the fish fingers were clearly prime pieces of the same fish used for the adult fish and chips battered and cooked with skill, just smaller. There is even a small area for the kids to run around in outside and play in with a pretend car and house

Without a doubt the rudest manager of a pub I have met. We popped in for a drink and were treated poorly. Manager stated that Without a table we could not have a drink. There were many empty tables which did not fill up for the hour we were there. I then witnessed him be verbally rude to other customers. I've been a loyal customer for many years. But do you know what. Not any more. The manager is as total plonker.

This could have been a good eating experience, however, partway through my meal I found there was a crack, along the main part of the plate. I told the staff member who said 'I'll let the kitchen know'. Bacteria can grow in the cracks, and this was not a new crack, so a good chance some were lurking there! I have never experienced this before, not even in a really cheap eating place. At the end of the meal - a main and cup of tea - I mentioned this again, and was told again 'I'll let the kitchen know', took our money, end of. I was so shocked at the attitude, I never thought to take a picture!

I call here for an evening meal and a pint.Beautiful and charming pub.Bar is understaffed with just one person, maybe it's extra busy for a Tuesday, but not that may people here.Excellent menu choice, but....I ordered the honey roasted pork belly, this was close to cremated and dry, top marks for steaming some veg. There was only a short wait from ordering to delivery to my table barely enough time to microwave a meal, which might well have been a better option.

Returning to Clevedon after a very long time it was a bit odd to find ourselves back on Hill Road (but that is the weird emotional bit out of the way). We were a bit peckish so popped into the cafe. Had not planned to end up going for the full breakfast - but we did (one vegetarian and one meat). Gosh. They were massive. I was on the meat one, but I simply could not finish it! A first. The Good Lady had to have a piece of my toast + and egg + tomato. (A piece of bacon was scurried out in a serviette). So value-for-money, to me, it was right up there. Admittedly, and looking at other reviews, I might agree that the staff seemed quite new/a little lost at times. Not sure if there is perhaps lots of turnover but they did seem to be struggling at times. Courteous though. We felt very reasonably priced.

Prices for all items on menu way over the top. Quality - nothing special . Staff very good and attentive. Decor good and fresh.

We popped in for lunch, sadly the kitchen was being refurbished BUT, when we said oh dear, and could he recommend somewhere and also be able to park the car, he said, no problem, just leave the car here and made various alternative suggestions. We went round town, had some lunch and of course went back for a lovely gin at about 3:00. Great old fashioned service.

We had heard good things about the Sunday roasts so booked ourselves in yesterday when in town for the pantomime. Very friendly pub and the restaurant at the rear has big windows with great sea views. Wendy had the turkey roast and I had the roast beef. Didn’t want the additional items of cauliflower cheese or pigs in blankets. The plates arrived well loaded together with a separate dish of long stem broccoli and normal red cabbage. We asked for some more gravy as it was lovely. Really enjoyed it complimented by a very nice bottle of red wine. Service very good and very friendly staff too.
