Perfect for a quick stop for the airport

First time visit to the restaurant since attending a Wake earlier in the year where the food was very good. The lunchtime meal was very disappointing. Had the Chicken, Leek and Bacon Pie and to be honest it was difficult to find any of these ingredients in the pie. See picture below. We will most certainly not be rushing back.

Stopped by on the way to the airport. The place was busy. Most of the food was very good with the exception of one main meal of lasagne that had far too much cheese. Reccomended.

Just had Sunday lunch meat, roast potatoes Yorkshire lovely didn’t like veg as in some sort of sauce ruined the dinner Will not have Sunday lunch here again

Smell of damp/ disinfectant as soon as you walk in, sticky tables, wobbly chairs, stood in the queue to order food for 5 minutes, decided not to bother and left

Beautiful food and very generous portions. Would definitely return there to try out the whole menu!

Nice place and food but service was poor.

This is a surprisingly large bar/restaurant on A38 just outside Bristol on the way to Bristol Airport. Meals have generous portions & there is a great selection of pub type foods. On this visit I had fish & chips the portion was fairly big for the price I would say the fish batter was more than expected. We also had Chicken schnitzel which was enormous and well cooked. The highlight today off the special board was Lamb Shoulder Steak which was served with couscous absolutely outstanding & way better than you'd expect from a restaurant with this price range.

A modern gastro pub not far from Bristol airport. Stunning countryside view from the aspect window / glazed gable. Great service, a nice selection of ales, ciders and soft drinks. A blend of traditional and contemporary pub food. I especially appreciated the consistency of their gravy.

Our meals were cooked to perfection. The service was very good and the prices very reasonable. The on site accommodation rooms are smart, clean and modern. This location is good for getting to Bristol Airport and Bristol City.

We stayed here the night before the Great Western Cycle Ride, its ideally situated near the Long Ashton Park and ride which gets you right into the city center for £2. The accommodation building is like a Motel. The rooms were large and very clean, tea and coffee provided. The staff at the restaurant we all amazing so friendly and helpful, the choice of food was excellent. This place is also ideally placed for Bristol airport. Thoroughly recommended

Beautiful place with sceneries that are more then perfect, food is magnificent and have an interesting selection of lagers ciders (which are amazing)

We stayed as an overnighter to reduce travelling time to get to an early flight at Bristol Airport. The room was a family room, it was basic but did the job. The beds were comfy and we slept well. The restaurant was great. The food was fab and the staff all really helpful and cheery.

Stayed the night before an early morning flight and used parking facilities. Whilst there we had food in the restaurant, must say it was very good, generous portions and good value.

Very nice Sunday roast 2 massive pieces of beef

Not so good on this third visit. Ordered 5 breakfasts, 4 came out together but had to go and ask a member of staff about the last one after waiting for 5 mins. The coffee machine was out of water and some of the table sauces had not been replenished , nothing major I suppose but considering the place was only around 20% full, a bit disappointing.

Great views and ideal location for Bristol Airport.

We didn’t stay here, we only ate here after the restaurant was recommended to us. It did exceed expectations and we loved it. We had a very appetising spread of food, the building itself was lovely with gorgeous views overlooking the countryside. The staff were kind and knowledgable. Will come back if we’re near the area.

Didnt stay in the rooms only visited for food and it was top notch. Highly reccomend and the staff are really nice

Very nice and convenient especially if you fly from or to Bristol.

We hired one of the private rooms for a wake and could not fault the service we received. The staff were lovely, very attentive coming down to the room to check if we needed any drinks etc. The food was delicious with a large selection of items. I must say a special thank you to Tina who went above and beyond, taking time to look at photographs with my dad, which to some may not mean a lot but to us it did. Thank you for making a horrible occasion a much brighter one!

My wife and I had lovely food in a fabulous pub/restaurant, the price was very reasonable and the staff were so helpful. We highly recommend, we will be back 😋😋❤️

Restaurant review only. We were a party of 14 adults and I must say the food was delicious (big portions) , all staff were very professional and polite . The food came out quickly and pipping hot. Would highly recommend 🙂

So we are locals and have eaten here many times over the last few years and have to say its getting better and better. It's a roadside family pub with rooms so don't expect Michelin star fine dining but do expect a really decent varied menu with daily specials, friendly attentive staff, decent prices and we've never had to wait too long even on their busy days. On a Sunday they serve food late so its our go to for when we've not made plans and can't be bothered to cook on a Sunday! Would recommend to anyone passing though for a bite to eat !!

Great location for Bristol Airport,rooms are lovely easy check in and out ,food and service is fantastic car kept there for safe stay you take the keys .

We visited the Inn at Yanleigh as a large group at the beginning of May. Their team and service couldn’t have been more helpful. We sent a a list of orders in advance to ease the pressure on the kitchen but it was great when I arrived in advance of our group as it’s not possible to book, I was directed to an area ideal for the size of our group. They looked after our group, our orders and our team had a wonderful time! I should also add that for a mid-week event, the restaurant was busy with a lovely atmosphere. Thank you again and we look forward to visiting you again soon!

Quick service. Excellent quality food

We stayed here the night before going on holidays just takes all the hassle out of travelling to the airport at stupid o clock and we had great food in the evening. What a lovely place. Staff were brilliant too.

Coming back from Bristol satnav sent me on the A38. But if it hadn't I wouldn't have come across this place.. had a quick beer and some food. And say in the terrace. There are worse places to be! Huge really. I liked it

We really enjoyed our stay all the staff very friendly and helpful 😊very pleased with our room we had a meal in the restaurant really good food 👍it's a shame restaurant doesn't open at 7 for breakfast and something else to keep in mind two singles to the airport 18 pounds from the inn

Good place to stay just outside Bristol. Staff were excellent. Rooms fairly basic but very clean.

Stopped by here for a drink after playing golf opposite. Such a lovely pub/restaurant. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The decor was great and the pints of Guinness were poured perfect.

Had the best Xmas meal, lovely table setting, food was excellent, & hot, service was great, can’t fault one thing, will definitely go again next year, well done all 👍

We arrived on a Sunday evening just after 5pm. When I went to order food a few minutes later,I was told they’d just had a local area power cut which had affected the kitchen but not the seating area and hence they couldn’t take food orders. While we were deciding what to do, one of the staff came round tables to explain they could offer a severely restricted menu, fortunately for us including the roasts. We ordered one each of the pork, chicken and sirloin of beef, along with extra sides of cauliflower cheese and pigs in blankets. The manager taking the orders was very apologetic for the situation which was plainly not their fault. It must have been very difficult for them, particularly as the seating area power was fine and hence the problem wasn’t obvious to customers! The food arrived pretty quickly and was both excellent and ample portions. The cauliflower cheese in particular was very good with nicely cooked (but not overcooked) cauliflower with tasty cheese sauce. All the meats were lovely. Plenty of varied veg too. We felt that they very much managed to make the best of a very difficult situation (resolved just before we left I gather) and served us a super set of Sunday roasts.
