Came to White Truffle last night for my birthday as a party of 5 adults, a 1 year old and a newborn. I can honestly say the experience was 10/10. The staff are so lovely- the waitress we had was so nice and made such an effort with my 1 year old daughter talking with her and making her feel included. It was lovely. The food was spectacular. Every single one of us had a different main course and all said what we ate was incredible. After our mains the waitress so kindly bought me a little birthday dessert which tasted incredible! Hope this place stays open for a long time as I could certainly see myself coming again and again.

Fabulous food, fabulous service

A fabulous dining experience, the food, the service and the attention was perfect, we will be returning, such a bonus to have a local restaurant of this quality.

Niamh was a delightful waitress: smiley, patient, knowledgeable and helpful. The food was outstanding. Scallops cooked perfectly and steak done exactly as I hoped. My wife and I had a lovely time and we will hopefully return again for our next anniversary if not before.

An amazing evening out with lovely food and drinks. We will return as soon as possible.

Best place to eat for miles around.

We came for dinner on Friday evening and it was fantastic! We both had the sirloin steak which was cooked to perfection and the chocolate torte was out of this world. We’ll definitely be returning

An enjoyable lunch at the White Truffle in Nailsea. The 3-course meal included innovative dishes that highlighted the talent in the kitchen. The town is fortunate to have such a fine dining establishment and we thought the price very reasonable for the quality of the food. Free parking nearby is a bonus.

Great decor, atmosphere, great service. We have been here four times now, for Dinner, Lunch, Sunday lunch and to sample the Tapas. The food is consistently outstanding, full of flavour, well balanced and expertly presented. Front of house are very polite, helpful, friendly and smartly presented. A well stocked wine list and the truffle gin is good. What an Amazing fine dining experience in North Somerset! Will be a regular here.

Super meal great service we will be back

As a party of 4 we all agreed the meal was excellent. The only downside, was as requiring a gluten free meal, the GFO was to have the meal less the item containing gluten and no gluten free item was offered in its place.

Food was ok - but very small portions. Expensive for what we got.

Sunday lunch is the best we've had for a long time. Absolutely 1st class. Fresh and hot. Everything from starters to desserts are lovely. The owner and wife team are very warm and welcoming. Look forward to visiting again soon.

Excellent meal from start to finish. The food was beautifully presented, perfectly cooked, with a wide range of choices to suit everyone in my lunch party. The service was very attentive. Our compliments to all involved.

Really lovely food, can't reccomend enough. People comment about it being expensive but the last time I went my main was under £20 which is comparable to lots of "chains" and believe me , the food is certainly not comparible to anything in that arena, truly lovely.

6 * As ever, we have been lucky enough to visit a few times, the service, ambience and most of all the food at White Truffle have been excellent. For barely more than the price of a local pub this is next level + cuisine that puts some of the most celebrated and significantly more expensive Bristol restaurants to shame. Good, currently free parking adjacent, buses stopping within 50 yards and a main line railway station a pleasant 20 minute walk away makes this venue a worthwhile trip out of town for. 10 stars if I could.

No issue with staff and the general ambience but I do think the food and wine was too expensive . The main I had was incredibly salty. Turkey can be bland but to overcompensate with lashing of salt did not improve the taste. Obviously there isn’t any other restaurants in the area like this so I can see why they might receive rave reviews.

This place is fantastic!!!!!! This is the second time we have had dinner here and I can't fault it, every thing about it was top notch! (The glasses were supper clean, which is what I like.) Well done guys can't wait to come back.

Fantastic quality food and very inexpensive

What a lovely restaurant. We took my parents there for my Dad's 90th birthday yesterday 3/11/23, the best decision we made. The restaurant decor is exceptional, the atmosphere and ambience, superb. The food so delicious and beautifully presented we didn't want to stop eating. 3 of us had the scallops to start, absolute heaven. Parents had the lamb I had the sirloin and my husband the hake, all excellent. We will definitely go back there again. The front of house, Cherish, was attentive and extremely helpful. The Chef did an excellent job. There are not enough stars on the review site and I would have given 10 stars for this restaurant. Excellent restaurant, quality ambience.....everything

We went there on a Saturday and had a delightful set lunch. I liked there were a few options for each course, so my husband and I could sample different dishes. Food was really tasty and so beautifully presented that I lack vocabulary for expressing my compliments. I can only say, from their food, you can tell how the chefs care about the quality of the food and cooking. Oh yes, the service was spot on too! Next time, I'll try the evening menu. :D

We came here for lunch with a choice of a set menú or their lunch menú. The home made food was very tasty, the home made tomato soup was moreish, the chicken Milanese was so well cooked, moist and tender. The chocolate crémeux tart was exquisite. Service was great too. We will be back!

Slightly quirky menu! Everyone was happy with their selection. We went at lunchtime and advise going in the evening when the choice of dishes is wider. Not cheap but an interesting addition to Nailsea's limited eating options. I certainly plan to go again. Recommended!

What a fantastic meal! We had aranchi balls to start and then truffle oil risotto/ chicken with panko breadcrumbs, all absolutely delicious 😍. Highly recommend and very reasonable price for the quality of food! A real asset to Nailsea ☺️

The White Truffle is a much needed addition to Nailsea, we are definitely lacking a restaurant that prides itself on fine dining and to have somewhere local to go for that special occasion. Reading up on all of the great reviews, coupled with verbal recommendation's from friends I decided to book for my wife's birthday. Firstly, the food was absolutely amazing, full of flavour and well presented. However, the service from the front of house needs work. Not a particularly welcoming environment, it felt rushed and certainly not the fine dining experience we were expecting. Several small things that with training and a bit of polishing will make a massive difference. 1. On arrival we were quickly ushered to our table, no offer to take coats so hung them on the back of the chair. 2. Table was wobbly 3. Candle unlit and remained unlit 4. Rushed to take our main meal order without the offer of drinks first 5. Un-attentive staff, no follow up during the meal to ask if everything was ok or if we wanted anything else 6. No offer of additional drinks during the meal, I had one drink and my glass remained empty for the remainder of the evening Appreciate some of the above are a little picky, but when you are paying top prices for quality food you expect the service to match, its the whole package and experience that makes a quality restaurant stand out from the crowd. This restaurant is much needed in Nailsea and with a few changes it could be perfect.

Delicious and beautifully prepared food, great team and a lovely atmosphere. It was a pleasure to try White Truffle having enjoyed the food at Backwell House a couple of times. The salmon starter was stunning, and the mushroom risotto was deeply flavoured and perfectly seasoned. I had the cheese and biscuits which were nicely presented. My other half enjoyed the scallops, lamb and raspberry creme brulee. We'll definitely be back again soon - hoping to try the Sunday lunch as well as many more lovely evening meals.

I've been looking forwards to my first of many visits to the White Truffle, having eaten Andrew Brooks food many times before. I knew that I would not be disappointed. We had a table of 5 for Sunday lunch and I like the fact that the menu is stripped down, as I really do not like huge menus. However don't get a well organised menu confused with a lack of choice, I had the cured salmon with beetroot. the presentation was stunning and very contemporary but also generous. A perfectly pink roast beef followed and the abundance of vegetables was a bonus including moorish cauliflower cheese and braised red cabbage. Hats off to Andrew and his professional team for looking after us and we're looking forwards to our next visit as when you have a gem of a restaurant like White Truffle near you it is important to visit as often as possible and the prices are reasonable too.
