The best restaurants in South Molton North Devon South West

Just returned from a fabulous few nights away , the stay at the coaching inn was as always brilliant, fantastic hospitality from Jayne and the team , the food as always is great value , large portions, a range to suit most peoples tastes ( but you can always speak to Jayne and they will accommodate you ) and delicious. My Room was clean warm and cosy, with lovely en suite , a great selection of on draught beers/ lager and wines , again bar staff couldn't do anymore for you . The pub doesn't stay open as late as other local establishments , but I see this a positive, if your staying there you can have a lovely meal and plenty of drinks then retire to your room and now your in for a good night's sleep as the pubs quiet and not rowdy like other places I've stayed , and the icing on the cake for me was it's not overpriced or pretentious . Thank you so much I will be staying with you again.

I am thrilled that you are getting back up and running. I've had so many relaxed and friendly hours in the cafe with friends that I am looking forward to more accompanied by a fab nut roast and side salads fit for a queen. Airy and plenty of space (unlike other cafes that cram as many in as they can) so it feels very Covid safe even without have to make big changes.

Paid stupid prices for food that didn’t even arrive. Asked for a garlic mayo and salad chicken wrap, arrived with a few pieces of chicken thrown onto a wrap with normal mayo with no salad. Large kabab and spicy chip which turned up with normal chips and stone cold. And when I tried to complain they lied to us down the phone and gave us lots of abuse. Used to be a nice and polite place but the last 9 months it’s gone massively down hill, definitely won’t be back.

Avoid Avoid Avoid!!!! With a dislike for meat, I ordered the vegetable curry with vegetable rice. Got it home & found a huge lump of beef in it. Rang them, they argued we'd ordered a different item. When I argued back I was told to bring it back then... A 15 mile round journey! Even my partners meal tasted awful. Lost a couple of customers there, well done, great for business

This place is a total disgrace the landlady (Lou) who is a alcoholic with shaking hands serving your food . Poor quality of food too add All microwave or pre cooked food And Gloria is even worse total nut job I strongly advise not to visit this place. I miss the original owners, they knew how to run a campsite and a pub But these to women (Gloria and Lou) have no clue And I hope they lose this place and replace them with true people who care about the site and the pub AVOID THIS PLACE

We tried a few places whilst on holiday here for the February Half Term and enjoyed the chips from here. We actually ordered from here twice as we liked all the crispy ones. Appreciate its not for everyone but we don't like soggy chips so these were great.
