The best restaurants in Gloucester South West

Avoid at all costs unless you want to be charged twice and be called a lier for it. I purchased a deal of 15 cookies for £10.49. I paid once and the machine said authorised but they told me that it didn't go through so I had to do it again. I questioned it at the time but she said no it hadnt and proceeded to bin a receipt saying 'we dont need that'. When I checked my bank, it confirmed payment twice. I sent evidence to the company and they said that the manager told them that they only sold ONE lot ( which i highly doubt) and will not give me back the money, the manager wasn't even there at the time!!!. So even by sending screenshots showing the payments taken twice, they are taking the word of their manager instead of written evidence from the bank!!. Absolute joke!! Avoid, Avoid, Avoid!!!!!!!!

Actually me and my lads favorite Chinese in Gloucester , friendly service and not bad food. Also reasonable prices, imo i have not found a nice Chinese in Gloucester In ten years until i found this one,

Rude and aloof staff member slammed change down rather than being polite, sausage roll was stone cold. Clearly was not qualified in customer service whatsoever.

I love pizza and this was one of my worst experiences ever. Nachos ok the cheese were so burnt that it tastes like burnt rubber it’s self. Pizza base was cold as if just melted cheese was put on top of the base without going through the oven. Stick to dominoes guys!

Absolutely embarressing customer service. Bought 2 drinks had them taken off me by glass collecter. Manager was a joke.

So I was really excited to find a take out in Gloucester on Deliveroo that offered mock duck, a dish I miss since becoming veggie 8 years ago. I ordered it through the app at 6.52pm and was told delivery would be ‘around 7.30pm’. I waited in reception from 7.30pm (we are currently staying overnight in a hotel) and by 7.45pm I gave the take out a call to check delivery. I was told ‘he was close’. Finally by 7.52pm my order arrived. I queried why the order had taken so long and was told that he was the only driver on. When I finally opened our take out, not only did we discover the food was cold but there was a pack of pancake rolls missing! This meant that my husband and me would have to eat part of our order with no pancakes, which kind of defeats the object of duck with pancake rolls! I called up the take out and they promised they would send me some. This was 8.01pm. By 8.16pm I chased them up, only to be promised they were close by. In the end they hung up on me. In the meantime I complained to Deliveroo and finally at 8.52pm, 2 hours after my original order, they called me to say they had arrived with pancakes. By this time our order had been binned as it was cold as well as greasy. I told the woman I would meet her in reception (to speak to her about their appalling service) only to discover that they were not there! Absolutely appalling. Avoid.

I have an egg allergy so my cake experience is mostly from cake box, I have used many over the past 10 years and are usually great so i know what to expect......... this store provided me with a stodgy sloppy cake that was really disappointing, and wet bottomed. I ate a bit of it and threw the rest away. I made a complaint but the response was..... Thank you for taking time to provide us your feedback and I am really sorry you had a bad experience. We have looked into the issue and provide more training to the staff and make sure to serve the customers with our delicious cakes.
