The best restaurants in Heavitree Exeter South West

Lovely waitress, great food, would definitely call in again if in the area

The definition of a local gem, we have had the chance to enjoy both the excellent catering from Goierri, but also have been to the restaurant several times - it is now our go-to for when friends or family come to stay and we want to show off the excellent food available in Exeter. Eric, Nita and their family are not just talented chefs, but wonderful hosts. We love their ethos of minimising waste and delivering the best value and freshest of food, by getting people to book and pre-order their meals; meaning from the moment you arrive you can sit back, relax and look forward to all the wonderful flavours to come. The mussels in the Basque salsa verde are fabulous, we can't not order those when we visit. There is a fantastic range of different pintxos, tapas (hot and cold), as well as main dishes and of course the paella which is just delicious. The only thing that could possibly be improved is that they get the opportunity to have more space and more tables - but as that would mean they would have to move, I am very grateful for the current intimate set up and location!

Drinks are good. But music is heavy rock and load. Would be so much better with some calmer music. But guessing it is the owners play list. Just not everyone's type of music.

Ordered through just eat, the lady who delivered it was very lovely. The food is 15/10, came hot.

We ordered takeaway this evening. The food was fantastic! Really fresh and tasty flavours. It was delivered slightly ahead of schedule too which was much appreciated. Definitely the best Indian food in Heavitree. We'll be ordering again soon :)

Lovely staff and great for the community but tea cups and tea pot were not clean which is a shame but easy to remedy. The menu was simple but good

We have never been to Heavitree let alone heard of this pub!! People we met in Topsham said it was their local and that it was a super pub.....well, we have had an adventure and experienced it first hand. Probably not the best time at 3pm . It was quiet, it was a nice pint, the barman was very friendly but overall it is not our favourite pub. No doubt it gets busier and has a better atmosphere....Nice charity shops in the area though! We will be back to explore this new area more on a busy main artery into the city.....

Called into eddys to pick up an evening meal waited in the shop for abt 30 mins ordered DonnaKebab’s the donor meat was mushy an tasteless the salad was pathetic and the pitta bread was freezing cold and doughy and the chips earthy and cold will definitely won’t be going back

Quality food and great service, plus the only place I can get beer from late at night without leaving my home :D cheers guys
