The best restaurants in Ferndown Central East Dorset South West

The Beacon used to be amazing when it was run by Paul. I haven't been for a couple of years and decided to take some friends there for lunch. We booked a table the day before, as one of our party has limited mobility. When we arrived, they knew nothing of our booking and ended up pushing two tables together by the door, so we were sat in the draft. The standard of food has gone downhill immensely, and the available choices are limited. Nothing compared to what it was. We were a party of five and all our food came at different times, so we weren't eating together. The food took so long that our drinks were cold by the time it arrived. Lastly, I was SHOCKED at the prices! It cost nearly £80 for lunch for five people - and all we had were sandwiches and a couple of jacket spuds... This is all such a shame as it used to be excellent!

Adecuada inicio - grub formulada en su mejor. Era un servicio realmente bueno, una persona de nuestro grupo es alérgica al gluten. Después de mencionar a Mike todos estábamos completamente atendidos y muy feliz! La alternativa verdadera ventaja sobre la opción libre de gluten. Seguro que volveremos, delicioso

Really nice food and the set meals are a great way to save money too. Always a decent amount of flavour and richly spiced - place can’t be beat on takeout. Will be my go to from now one for takeaway Indian

popped in for some chips and a warm place to sit while waiting for my bus, staff are very friendly and my food was cooked fresh. they let me know it would take 5 minutes to cook to make sure i wouldnt miss my bus. they even catered to my desire for an EXCESSIVE amount of salt because im a salt lover and most restaurants dont like that! thank you guys very much i will be returning :)

Over priced modern furniture. Great for retirement and care home type furniture. What let's this store down is the staff aptitude. The store closed at 5pm, which is fine, a little unexpected on a Saturday, however actually turning the lights off and saying the staff have gone home at 5pm sharp, I mean to the second is an odd reflection on their management there. All customers actually escorted from the building and told we are open tomorrow. I mean WOW. Just imagine the level of support you might get if you actually buy something there and need help with it. All the good reviews were probably customers who were shopping during the day while the staff had to do their job! This is just our personal experience.

The food was ok 66£ slightly overpriced for two people starter mains and 2 soft drinks , atmosphere, live a bit to be desired at one point everyoane was like screamming .All talking loud in the same time over the tables. Was full we dine Sat evening.

Called in here for tea and cake after passing it many times. Can honestly say this is a real patisserie! We had the most amazing cheesecake which tasted how I remember a cheesecake should taste. Breads looked delicious too, as did the sausage rolls which looked totally melt in your mouth. So lovely to have in independent business to try inplace of the usual chains. We will be back.

Stayed in Ferndown for a weekend and used this place twice for dinner. Delicious pizza and good quality chips. They delivered really quickly (faster than the estimate) and the delivery driver was very polite, service with a smile is always welcome. Would highly recommend.

It could do with the chips being cooked a bit more ordered some on19th dec 2024 and chips were still a bit hard

Ordered through just eat didn't deliver my food claimed my nwhbior shot them with a air rife 😂😂 never gonna order again what a joke

2 stars just for the nice guy that served me as its a new business and could tell he was trying hard but the portions are small, the price doesn't reflect this. The vegetarian sausage was so disgusting I took one bite and put it in the bin, tasted like cat food! Not a good experience unfortunately which is a shame.
