Visited with my wife and our two dogs for a cream tea and was treated like royalty. The staff are very friendly and the premises are immaculately clean. The rules about the importance of putting the jam on the scones first are clearly explained by the waitress prior to us tucking in. The dogs were treated to pieces of sausage free of charge by the chef and so didn’t feel left out. I would thoroughly recommend visiting this tearoom.

Visited this establishment for lunch today. And what a find! The freshest seafood as the title suggests, staffed by the friendliest of staff. Wife had lobster, crab and avocado salad with a Sicilian lemonade to drink. I had a lobster and crab open sandwich with a bottle of cider. We were served by a lovely lady who was the owners mother and had filled in on a busy bank holiday Monday. She was delightful. This establishment is outstanding and I can’t recommend it enough !!

Super friendly and chilled atmosphere, booked our table a month ago luckily as super busy. We popped in for cocktails before going to Outlaws and felt so welcomed. Then we had food 2 nights later.. crab fritters, scallops, oysters , sole and beef skewers. All were sheer perfection, the tastes and quality of produce provided superb.

Best place to go anytime throughout the day. Perfect for Breakfast. Fab coffee. For Lunch - THE Best Crab Sandwiches to take to the beach. The team serving are Heroes! - Fantastic, Fun and Friendly (but firm and polite when they need to deal with fussy and often ridiculously entitled customers) Keep being Awesome!

If you are a massive foodie and are in Rock or a drivable distance away, you MUST visit the Karrek for dinner. It is an unbelievable hidden gem. This was our second time and it was amazing once again - the food, the stories behind the dishes, the service, the wine pairings - were all incredible. Great value for money too. We will be back. Thank you for a wonderful last night in Rock :)

We had booked a meal online through the Fishermen's Mission offer, and we are so glad we did so - even though it involved a round trip from Edinburgh! Beautiful restaurant - so tastefully decorated with little touches such as fish wallpaper in the toilets! Superb view of the sea - and as it was early March the waves were spectacular. All the staff were so welcoming and explained the various dishes in great detail. We started with the raw cured and pickled selection - and having always preferred cooked fish, this has converted me! So delicately flavoured and so fresh. Basically we tasted everything on the menu. All of the fish were beautifully cooked (Dover sole, john dory, hake and brill) and presented and the sauces and accompaniments were mouthwatering. Particularly loved loved the jerusalem artichoke and langoustine sauce with the hake. The desserts were also delicious and we opted for the cheese as well. All in all an absolutely perfect meal! I hope we manage to repeat the experience!

I have to say I don’t post reviews very often but my wife, daughter and myself have just had a fantastic meal here in the restaurant at the St Moritz hotel. We come here every year and always have a great time. Last year we had a great meal in Cafe Rojano and the St Pedroc bistro in Padstow. We also had a terrific meal in the St Moritz hotel restaurant and it was definitely up there. So we are fussy about our food and like to spend a lot of money on food. The meal we just had in the restaurant in the St Moritz tonight was fab. I had a 3 course meal and each course was a delight and the whole meal was faultless. Not cheap but worth it and served by 3 wonderful young people. Highly recommended. I would put the quality as on a par with the meal we had in the St Pedroc last year and actually a more enjoyable meal overall.

The food was very good - an excellent showcase of high quality local ingredients. As you would expect, the portion sizes are very small for a fine dining experience but we expected them to get somewhat bigger as you go down the menu towards the last couple of dishes. This was not the case. We didn’t leave hungry but we weren’t full. For the price, you would expect to receive somewhat more. The Bluefin Tuna with mint on the 12th of Oct was disappointing on taste. Nice experience but not the sort where you would return without hesitation.

Lunch on terrace, beautiful summer day.. maybe the first, but super. Great quality and excellent service. Hake with curry sauce, scallops with tomato/onion salad and new potatoes, burger, cobb salad. Camel valley Bacchus. Desserts. Can’t fault and good value for Rock.
