Visited with my wife and our two dogs for a cream tea and was treated like royalty. The staff are very friendly and the premises are immaculately clean. The rules about the importance of putting the jam on the scones first are clearly explained by the waitress prior to us tucking in. The dogs were treated to pieces of sausage free of charge by the chef and so didn’t feel left out. I would thoroughly recommend visiting this tearoom.

A friend of mine recommended here so thought we would go whilst on holiday. Our first visit 2 of us had drinks and 2 had cream tea, it was all very nice but what made the visit better was the interaction with the owners, they were so lovely, great banter over jam or cream first on the scones and both were very friendly and welcoming. We returned a couple of days later for lunch and all had a pasty, amazing valve at £4 each, and they were delicious. The couple remembered us and it was lovely chatting to them again. Highly recommend

I had a steak pasty, which was the best I've eaten so far in England. There was more meat in this pasty than in my previous one in Penzance, not just potatoes. The cider was tasty. My husband enjoyed a Doom beer and pasty as well. Very friendly owners and charming little place with a few indoor tables.

Myself & my partner visited just for the cream tea. Firstly want to say how lovely & friendly the owners are. They chatted like old friends with everyone. Very welcoming. We wanted to have a cream tea whilst visiting Cornwall & hadn’t had the chance. Whilst here I did a quick search & saw the great reviews fir this place so we decided, this was the place for us. We ordered cream tea for 2. It comes out presented lovely on a heart shaped slate. The strawberry placed on top of the scone was very juicy & tasty but the best was yet to come. We was duly advised jam then cream but why wouldn’t you!! This was the absolute best scone I have ever tasted. Very light & fluffy. I just wished it was bigger. (I love food }. It was very reasonably priced. What more can you want , friendly staff & the best scone ever. This is a must visit place for cream tea. If you use the loo -please don’t take any extra’s home. (Very funny story).

Food wise, we had the Ham and tomato sandwich, which was delicious and freshly made. My partner had a Cornish steak pasty, which was piping hot and very tasty. This was followed by a slice of Victoria sponge cake and all washed down with a pot of Cornish Tea. We found the prices very reasonable and fair. Service was very quick and friendly. We had a very enjoyable conversation and banter about Basil Fawlty. With other customers joining in, it made the visit so enjoyable. We highly recommend Mr T. And his partner, their food, and their service was amazing.

Paid over £17 for 1 crab sandwich (which was good though had sharp bits in) and 1 worst ever overcooked, dry, reheated or left in oven for three days, almost inedible minced fish finger horribly paired with a sweet brioche bap. No sauce, no salad, dry awful thing. No prices on display. Appalled, really How could two items cost so bloomin much? Left bad impression of place as disrespectful to, and ripping off tourists

Walking up the hill to the car park above Port Issac we chanced upon this delightful tearoom and decided we needed a cream tea to give us the energy to get up to the car park. What a fabulous cheerful place it is. Hosted by the utterly charming Lynn (who is full of fun and had us roaring with laughter, "jam then cream" rule I agreed to accept only because she is a fellow left hander ) Trevor and Em. Our tea was beautifully presented what a treat to drink out of china cups and have tea made in a pot! The scones were yumcious, loads of gorgeous thick clotted cream and strawberry jam. The fresh strawberry on top added a lovely little flourish to the presentation. Thank you for a lovely little interlude which made our "stroll" up the hill well worth while.

My husband visited this tearoom in May 2022 with his sons. He raved about the fresh crab sandwich he had - he’s very fussy about these! We visited today and both enjoyed a crab sandwich - I just had to have one after everything he’d said about it. This definitely was the BEST crab sandwich. So much crab. The bread was lovely and fresh and the crab was amazing and half the price of some of places around the harbour! The owners of the tea room a lovely and friendly and you feel at home as soon as you walk through the door. The food that other customers were having also looked amazing. The cream teas especially and again great value. We’ll definitely be back.

What an absolute gem, family run, friendly tearoom. We visited today with our 3 children. Cream teas and Cornish pasties (with a little icecream treat). Honestly could not fault it. After being in Cornwall for 4 days, I desperately wanted to go to port Isaac and craved that traditional Cornish feel. We were made to feel so comfortable and less of a tourist considering it’s such a tourist site and honestly one of our best moments of the trip so far. Warm scones, fresh pasty, delicious teas went perfectly on our typical English weather summer!!! I would definitely recommend and would love to have tried the other things on the menu if we weren’t planned to go for Sunday lunch elsewhere.

On arriving in Port Isaac, my son and I needed some mid-afternoon refreshment and came upon this delightfully attractive tearoom at the top of Fore Street. Our dog was welcomed with a biscuit and we were offered a seat by the window. The owners and staff could not have been friendlier or more relaxed and it was clearly a place that visitors returned to. My scone was served warm and was delicious; covered in jam - first, of course - and then clotted cream. The steak pasty -much anticipated by my teenage son-was declared as ‘banging’. Assuming that this is a positive adjective, I can assign this description to the whole experience and would urge any visitors to Port Isaac to make this your first stop in this charming village .
