Lovely place, the owner of the workshop is a brilliant, friendly and knowledgeable man and the food and staff were very lovely.

Faulty Towers exists. The worst food I've ever had in a hotel. Everything is micro waived. The shower didn't work. And then to add to the misery, no sleep due to having to listen to loud snoring in the next room. Couldn't wait to leave.

Not a great pub they've got somebody dictating to you, even if you're not driving that you're only allowed three drinks and he's only about 21 year old

It's not every day you see a cat take its owner out to the local Costa 🤷‍♀️ and not every day the staff are still meowing ten minutes later 😂 The barista wasn't happy that she had started to heat semi when I asked for skimmed and telling the first person was what was required, very sorry, I will remember next time.

Unfortunately as the price of the roast has risen steadily over the last few years, the quality has decreased to a level that leaves it barely edible. We complained to the waitress regarding the overcooked food and was ignored for the remaining time on the premises, apart from paying. Very expensive soft drinks, £6 for half and pint of orange squash and lemonade, £17 large roast that's over cooked, meat was cooked perfectly though. It used to be a reasonable roast and cost.. But now expensive and below standard quality.

The breakfast team, Eliza the cook, and Becky the front -of-house were a great team. Friendly and the freshly cooked breakfast to order was very tasty. The reception staff were equally friendly and helpful. The rooms could do with a refresh but ok for a night or 2.

Had 3 piece breakfast bap each, got to till to pay and told the lady what we had only to be told abruptly " thats all we do anyway" she was very rude snacked the money off me look like she didn't want to be there, customer service training for her I think. coffee bitter and too strong so much so you couldn't drink it, never again . Had a run in with this rude lady before .
