Great Trethew Manor Country Hotel & Restaurant in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

Faulty Towers exists. The worst food I've ever had in a hotel. Everything is micro waived. The shower didn't work. And then to add to the misery, no sleep due to having to listen to loud snoring in the next room. Couldn't wait to leave.

Fantastic, comfortable and super clean lodge, friendly staff, tasty carvery, log fire and a great selection of beers, wines and spirits - what more could you ask for - Recommended👍.

Fabulous family stay here at the weekend. Log fires, really spacious immaculate bedrooms, and lovely staff who welcomed our grandchildren and even said rearrange the furniture however you like!! Peacocks in the garden, pony riders and gold fish in the pond. Great breakfast with everything you could think of and nothing too much trouble. Amazing approachable staff. Just perfect!

We only dined at Great Trethew Manor & Country Hotel for Valentines day. I can only comment about the delicious foods, cosy place, good service and the staff are friendly and accomodating. It was my son's belated birthday celebration too. It cost me a lot of money but its worth it!😎

A magnificent place where we are going to spend three wonderful days. Silence and peace. It is in the center of the region. Easy to visit everything from here. The only thing to be careful with is the narrow roads.

Outstanding Stay at Great Trethew Manor Hotel. My recent stay at Great Trethew Manor Hotel was exceptional. The hotel is clean, quiet, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The downstairs restaurant offers delicious food and a relaxing atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a busy day. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone traveling for work or leisure.

Not staying, but the kitchen at my inn is closed Wednesdays so I walked here. It's a bit out of the way and I felt I was risking my life on the curvy, isolated road here. But it was so worth it! Lovely grounds with roaming Peacocks. The staff was quite friendly and welcoming, the food excellent. Also got a Peacock mating show while I had my after dinner gin.

Mike the owner was very helpful and friendly when making the booking and also when I met him in the evenings. Great welcome from Leela on arrival. The lodge was spotlessly clean and well appointed. No problems parking a few large vans . A great venue from which to tour Cornwall.

Lovely and enjoyable stay here. The room was superb - great size family room, very comfortable. Service and food were very good, a very easy recommend from us - Rachael, Jane and Leela provided first class service throughout.

Great carvery lunch for mother's day. Good food and service.
