Lovely café, indoor & outdoor seating. Delicious locally sourced ingredients. We had coffee & cake (gf carrot cake & coconut cake), and full breakfast 😋 Friendly staff. Very accommodating with gf options for our daughter who is coeliac. Highly recommend! 🌟

Stopped here after spending the afternoon go karting, what a fantastic diner. The food was excellent - I had the sweet and pickle burger, which was delicious. There were so many tempting options on the menu and the staff were very friendly and helpful, I'd thoroughly recommend!

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to the fantastic team at The Bunker for hosting us yesterday for our baby shower. Every member of the team was so friendly and accommodating. They helped us set up and tidy away at the end, and nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious and great value for money. I would highly recommend this fabulous local venue to anyone and we’re looking forward to coming back for coffee dates once our little one has arrived. Thanks again to Carrie and the whole team!

Went for food, was incredibly disappointed at quality and price. Charging nearly £20 for one burger is outrageous for something that isn't even special. I really felt ripped off. No side salad, no coleslaw, no effort to make it look nice at all, just a burger slapped together with some chips chucked on the side. The tastiest thing was the BBQ sauce but we could tell that wasn't even fresh. The waiter was also incredible strange. All in,

Restaurant review on Valentines Night: We have been occasionally coming here for the last few years and have seen the impressive turnaround in food and service since Covid. When we arrived this time, there looked liked there had been a complete change of staff and the old ones had gone. Sitting at our table we noticed there really should have been more than just two waiting/bar staff and they dealt with the busy situation of serving everyone really well. The staff were really trying hard to deal with it all and deserve a medal. But for us personally, the calm ambience and atmosphere of a nice cosy hotel on Valentines night wasn't there and it felt more like a vibrant Pizza Express, or similar. The menu looked the same as last year's visit and the food was good enough. But again it looked hurried in it's presentation as compared with our previous visit. We chose not stay for dessert and paid. I am sure there others who may disagree with my review and this is no problem. I would still recommend the Avon Causeway Hotel if you have not been. Visit it for it's historical charm of a previous railway station. Although I haven't stayed I would guess that the rooms and breakfast would be nice.

Popped in with friends for lunch. Very limited menu for veggies. Opted for the Mac & Cheese… bad move! Tasted like some sort of canned/ packet plasticky stuff tipped in a bowl then layered with thick cheese and grilled. Pretty unappetising. Such a shame as lovely location. But very cheaply produced food.

Opened in August 2019 as part of the new ownership of Bournemouth Airport. Its a welcome addition to the airport BUT... The staff are brash and its only opened at scheduled departures. I was on a delayed flight to GVA and asked to leave Costa as its only opened during set departure times, this didn't stop the staff serving drinks in a mug and brunch on a plate.

After completing our activities, a group of us had a very nice drink in the bar. The service was friendly and the staff very good. As the afternoon progressed, we had the displeasure of experiencing the 'jazz' group setting up. Whilst only a few of us were left, we were first asked to move tables as they wanted to reposition ours (by 90 degrees and 6 inches forward) then about 10 minutes later we were asked if we wished to continue our meeting elsewhere as they were ready for their guests and members to arrive. As we had nearly finished, we drank up and vacated, clearly not welcome. Consequently, we ended up in the Curlew, which is situated around the corner from the center. The staff were equally as friendly, the ale selection was a lot better and we ended up ordering food! Moral of the story... Go elsewhere after activities at the center!
