The best restaurants in Bristol, City of South West

Perhaps understandably most folk get takeaway pizza from Pizzaland. I would recommend an eat in experience. The food is really good, the staff are lovely and the place has a real warmth to it. It is also really good value for money. Well worth a try.

Iv order from this place multiple times and never had issue with food. But unfortunately tonight I hasmd something different and was disappointed. I had cheesy garlic bread which was good but I order chip and chicken fillets. The chips were soggy and chicken fillets were basically joujons which I could cooked myself at home. I haven't tried the cookies yet but they are big so look worth the money and were lovely and warn milkshake was good as always

Food is great, I don't enjoy the feeling of constantly being rushed here. It's not our fault your place is too small to host the number of covers you need to turn a profit. Booked 2 weeks in advance and the waitress initially made us feel like a nuisance. Will return, but not in a hurry. Too cramped and noisy by virtue of being very popular (which is great) and small. Hope they upgrade to a bigger building soon. Plenty of empty ones nearby.

Stunning location but not a great crepe! Too thick and stodgy and all the lemon and sugar had fell to the bottom. Not great. Location made up for it though. X

THE best burgers and THE best fries in Bristol by a mile. I’ve tried all the other top-notch burger spots and nothing compares to Squeezed. It is elite. It is amazing. It blows my mind every time. Thank you. Holy cow.

Great choice. The service was quick and gentle. The food will surprise you. And Conde de Cron is a better wine than what the label says 😉 + Roasted Butternut Squash + Figs - Croquetas (they need more jam) - Service included in bill

Tiny and cosy restaurant with a small menu based on seasonal ingredients sourced locally. The decor is minimalistic. The service is friendly and professional. The food is really good, beautifully presented and super tasty. The wine list and drinks menu is not extensive but has some interesting choices. Overall, it is good value for money and highly recommended for a special evening out.

My wife and I have been to Deck twice now, and both times the food and service has been exemplary. The coffee is also exceptional. Highly recommend.

So pleased that the "tasting menu" is back, it was delicious, every mouthful perfect. My only reason for marking 4 star for atmosphere is that eating this amazing food was made even more special when all diners sat down together and each course served simultaneously. The old TARE set up made wonderful food even more special. That said, we will most definitely be back and please thank the chefs for stunning flavours. Thank you for reinstating this menu option.

It is not easy to find an affordable British restaurant where cooking is well-understood, but here it is. Highly recommend the chicken thigh dish in the lunch menu. Focaccia is also great.

Really lovely Italian food. Would recommend the pomodoro pasta. Super reasonable prices and really good food. Would definitely recommend. Staff were also lovely.

Very kind service delicious coffee and quiet environment & great music for playing I will definitely go back again!

Bar man very friendly and knowledgeable. Had a couple of delicious cocktails, £9 each, which is good value.
