On a small street off Whiteladies Road is this quirky coffee shop with vegan and gluten free options set in a book store. Extremely low key and charming. Had avocado smash, was just what I wanted for breakfast. Lovely staff.

We called in for breakfast on Friday morning, to start off weekend break . Service and music was great. We both had egg on toast which was okay. Egg was not runny and toast was too crisp.

Really quality cafe in Clifton! One of the best cappuccinos I’ve had - £3 for a very large serving and so creamy! Staff are friendly and vibes are immaculate here. Their pastries are also lovely and they don’t charge for milk alternatives.

The best decaf latte I’ve ever had. #1 barista in town 😀🏆

Stylish South African place. Jozis is the best cafe in Bristol, it's cosy and friendly. They have a selection of high quality pastrys, tasty sauces, interesting but familiar breakfasts, good coffee and teas. Everything is high quality. It's the perfect spot hidden at the top of whiteladies road. Owned by nice people and staffed by nice people. They allow laptops, dogs, and hungover nearly 30yr olds. Good prices, good portion sizes. Banging bacon butty. Not open on Sundays

Absolutely love! One of the best cafes in Bristol. Conflicted between wanting it to remain a hidden gem but also wanting to tell EVERYONE about this amazing cafe!! Would 100% recommend. Great coffee (especially the flat whites!) and brunch is delicious. Friendly, calm atmosphere too.

Really lovely little spot!! A very chilled vibe which is great if you want to avoid the hustle & bustle. They make a fantastic cappuccino, the meaty breakfast is 👌🏻 and also the BBQ grilled chicken sandwich is 😍 and the apple cake is rather special! Definitely our new brunch spot! Staff are also really lovely!

Jozi is a reliable option for consistently great quality coffee. The staff are always welcoming and helpful. The filter coffee and the batch brew often rotate so each time one can expect to taste new beans.

Epic coffee to takeaway or have in. Also have a great selection of coffee beans to shop to make at home. Love the VHS packaging of the Process Coffee. Next time I'm going to be brave and try the TikTok orange and espresso coffee.

What a lovely space! We had breakfast here while we visited Bristol and were not disappointed. The food was fresh and delicious, the coffee was amazing - and the staff were very pleasant. Also we took away one of their home made brownies - and I wish we could have come back for more! Thank you Courtney for your hospitality 😁

I went to this place to see if they had wheat free produce (they did). They are also part of the 'too good to go' set up. I have subsiquently had a couple of 'Magic bags' from there and they were all very good (I think I rated them 5 stars). I have not eaten at the cafe/restaurant as it is a bit 'off the beaten track ' from where I live (although it is quite close to work, hence the magic bags). The quality of the magic bags was excellent and I have no doubt their restaurant food would be even better. It is run by a South African couple who are both loveley. Would syrongly recommend this place.

These guys are fantastic. Top quality food + great coffee every time we've been and lovely, personable service. Our favourite place to chill and catch up on a bit of paperwork while we're in Clifton!

If you’re a local looking cosy cafe with excellent coffee or tea to make your regular spot or visiting Bristol and want to find the best lunches in town this is the place to go! Friendly attentive staff, chilled vibes paired with an open & sociable atmosphere… oh and they do without a doubt some of the tastiest and reasonably priced food in Bristol.

Had breakfast at Jozi for the first time this morning and it certainly won’t be the last!! This will be our go to from now on classic English breakfast and open avocado sandwich with extra egg, mushroom and halloumi superb!! What can I say about the beetroot latte the best ever washing down cherry and rhubarb cake - heavenly! Thanks guys you are our number 1 breakfast brunch destination from now on, great warm and friendly service too - what more could you ask for 😀 Oh and I should add that after subsequent visits the chocolate brownie is the best EVER too!

I don't go anywhere else for coffee now! This place is a haven...I feel welcome every time I come in and I am very grateful it is on my doorstep! We love Jozi! xxx

A hidden gem just off Whiteladies Road. I popped in for lunch and got some work done. Quiet and friendly. Toastie was delicious!

Stopped here for a spot of lunch, I was drawn in by the packets of coffee beans they had for sale. Had the spicy chicken wrap, which was lovely. Also had a short black coffee, as this was the main reason I chose Jozi, and it was lovely and smooth. I then had a chat with, I believe the owner, where we started to geek out about coffee. Coffee is sourced from a local roaster and excellently brewed by Jozi. On my next visit I will probably try the filter coffee. Anyway, if you're looking for good coffee then I believe Jozi is great place for that.

Best coffee I've had in Bristol. It's run by 2 friendly South African siblings. The food is great and nostalgic for those who have moved from SA. The interior is nice and cosy. Highly recommend.

Nice coffee place. Lof of choices as you can see on the Menu, and the price is very attractive. Drinks Menu is really good as well. We have try the Full English Breakfast and love that the sausage is not the one we can find everywhere. Quite busy on Saturday lunch time so do not hesitate to book it if you are a full group. The coffee seems quite a small place when you arrive but there are plenty of tables finally. It is definitely worth it to brunch over there!

Found this by accident whilst visiting the area, and had a takeaway coffee. The menu looked interesting, so decided to come back for lunch later on. Definitely a good choice as the food and service was very good, and will go back and try the breakfast soon.

Just had a fabulous 'classic ' cooked breakfast and my partner had a vegetarian breakfast. Great service and good hosts at this cafe on a small side street off the main Whiteladies Road. We have been coming to this cafe when in Bristol for over 6 years. The name might be new but the food is still amazing.

Jozi has become my favourite place to eat in Bristol. When I work nearby, I'm a daily customer! A perfect lunch spot for delicious sandwiches, wraps, salads, sweet treats, coffees and freshly squeezed orange juice. On top of that, the staff are fantastically friendly and talkative. You will feel instantly welcomed and find yourself chatting away to them like old friends. The interior has been renovated and is sleek yet cosy and I love how the owners have brought their South African roots to every part of their restaurant - the food, the name and the decor. A must visit!

We found a little taste of home in Jozi Bristol... best of all is that they do a delicious red cappuccino (craving beautifully satisfied!). Their boerewors roll is also totally yum. A lovely family run business with genuine SA hospitally. A gem of a find, we will be back.

The Jozi Cafe is one of my favourite spots that I have stubbled upon in Bristol. I got chatting to friendly and welcoming owners and discovered that the cafe's menu , design and name is inspired by their South African heritage. There is a vibrant yet calming feeling in this cafe . I have only experienced great food , coffee and service. I will defiantly be back again and many times after that.

One of the best cups of coffee I have been served in a long time, with the environment being welcoming and hearty. The breakfast is flavoursome with tasty fresh ingredients.

Jozi food is absolutely incredible! The portion sizes are amazing for the price you pay. I would highly recommend them for breakfast and lunch. They have freshly baked goodies too for those of you that have a sweet tooth like me! Definitely a hidden gem I would like to keep going back to!

Had the full breakfast here and it was actually really good, very impressed with the food and the service was really friendly, very welcoming all round. Will definitely go back again!
