Absolute perfection of a sausage, bacon and egg baguette

Great spot lovely food my only point to pick about is that the katsu sauce was a little bitter but other than that a lovely meal

We had a lovely lunch here at the George Inn. The food was scrumptious and customer service was amazing. Claire, Sally and Heidi were lovely.

Looking for somewhere for lunch in NW Bristol ? , then look no further. We were looking for a place where we wouldn't be spending £50 for two of us , and so we visited The Lamplighters , as we hadn't been for a while . The new Chef there really excelled themselves , as our Barbequed Chicken we ate was wonderful. We also noticed that the Pub had some refurbishment since our last visit . This is becoming a landmark Pub, as its setting on the banks of the River Avon in its light blue exterior makes it stand out , and has steadily improved over the years, with a good selection of beers , including Bath Gem on tap, and my wife commented favourably on her glass of Chardonnay . The landlady was delightful to talk to , as we discussed several things concerning the local community and what could be done to support it . All in all we were delighted with our visit and will happily return again .

stopped by and ordered 2 sausages rolls a drink it was busy i guess the wrong time the woman serving was so rude to me and the girl behind i understand that you have the same people everyday but the staff are all nice to them flirting and then rude to us the food was okay could of been hotter will i come back again yeah maybe

Nice place, very clean. Attentive and very patient staff. Good selection of Drinks, the food was limited aside Burgers and Pizza. I had a burger and so did my son from the Kids Menu, I ate mine as starving and not had a chance to eat all day, it was tasty, but like my sons it was extremely Salty>Not sure why. My daughter had Pizza and it was rather basic. My Wifes Seafood dish was very hot in spite of being told the hot and spicy would be served seperate>It was not it was within the Batter.

I love the Chicken Fried Rice here.

Campanella is realy very very tasty for icecream and patisseries. You have to try it. The icecream is real home made with real ingrediants and the patisseries is delicious.

Would have got 5 stars but had to wait a few minutes before a member of staff knew I was waiting to be served
