lovely clean services, toilets are a short walk from the door, you will need a radar key for the disabled toilets, plenty of parking and car charging spaces

Honestly, compared to North bound, this place feels like the hand me down of services. Smells when you walk past the men's toilets and the women's seems to need a really good clean and freshen up.

One of my favourite service stations when travelling up or down the M5, always clean and tidy, and has all you need to carry on your journey.

Has two Gridserve CHAdeMO car chargers which was essential on our journey back as Gloucester Services now has none. The charge rate was very slow though.

Always stop off here when I go to my sons up north.Good food and good service.

Good services with a high number of charging points for cars

It's a motorway service area it's clean and you can get what you need

It's ok for a quick stop food ok but a bit expensive

Hooray more charging ports for electric cars, but they should let the cars stay more than 3 hours to charge, especially if someone else is already charging their car and you have to wait for them. There is an expensive Burger King that doesn't accept vouchers or offers, and Starbucks is small with a few tables. The toilets were clean and the outside area.

At least it is open 24 hours unlike the shopping mall 16 miles North. Good to see EV charging area growing as a useful stop at night before leaving M'way for last 90 minutes of my regular overnight trip.

Toilets are a bit grubby and need refreshing up. The foods good

We stopped here as a change to Gloucester Services where we usually stop. Ok-ish for a toilet stop although they're in dire need of some tlc. As for eating, the only place with seating is Starbucks. The floor there was strewn with food (the photo is of just a tiny area but the food was everywhere) and 2 extremely mediocre "5 cheese" toasties plus 2 flat whites (in paper cups although we ate in) came to over £19! We wouldn't have bought the sandwiches if we'd known but none of them were displaying prices. We won't stop here again, nor will we use a Starbucks anywhere else again, even if we're desperate.

As motorway services go this one is clean and pleasant food was nice

All was found to be clean and tidy. While not the largest service station all the basics you need are there.

The shower was nice and hot as well as reasonably clean. However the men's toilet in the building really smelt bad just walking past. At 6pm Burger King had a greatly reduced menu. Other shops were good.

Grim toilets! Dirty, lots of cubicles without any toilet paper, out of order taps / hand dryers, and toilets with broken toilet seats etc. Really quite unpleasant!

These are our preferred services when heading south because it never seems overcrowded so parking is a breeze although we do generally visit outside of the main busy fortnight.

What I want from a services. Parking close, clean, clear directions. Outdoor space to enjoy your burger al fresco.

Lots of places for trucks. The cost of parking with a voucher is £34. The parking lot is clean and lit.

£56.00 for one coffee, two soft drinks, two ham and cheese panini's and 4 bags of chocolates - ABSOLUTE RIP OFF!!! Oh and a cookie!! Date of Visit - Saturday 7th Sept 2024

As services go, this is a good one. Always stop in for a break on my way to Cornwall. Good choice of food outlets.

Nice place as services go, but absolutely no attraction or benefit to HGV drivers.

A stop on the way to Weston, very inviting. Lots of food services, different selection of dishes. It's very bright and clean. There's multiple tiolets in the ladies to use. Though they need a check on the loo roll.

Nice clean and good for dog owners

The ladies toilets are a disgrace. The toilets are the size of children’s toilets. There is toilet paper stuffed in locks to help lock the toilet doors. The bathroom sinks have huge cracks in, filled with dirt, the soap dispensers are empty and the walls are filthy.

Burger King terrible no drinks bad buns and chips will never go again to that place toilets were disgraceful don’t go !!!!!!!

The Burger King here is horrible no worker only 1 person and the food was cold all dry and not edible the drinks were mixed with water and the service really rude and bad

Careful when leaving slip road has big pot hole burst front tyre south bound cost me 85 pounds for a new one very dear KFC

Over charging, dirty toilets and a shadow of its former self. It’s ok for a service station. But if you going south just go to Gloucester services. You pay the same but the food is actually real.

If going for food can be waiting a long time. Had time to scoff a cheeseburger 20 mins before the one on right handed over menial grub.

Just another motorway services, beware if you are desperate for the loo, make sure you park near the main building. These services have a long carparking area.

our dog slit his paw but the staff helped us gave us first aid and cool water as hot day much appreciated. everyone was calm and well trained for a thing they never thought they’d have to do.

as services go this one was quite good. had a bucket of kfc which was good and a starbucks coffee. entrance to carpark needs to more clear as a tired driver can miss it and have to go around again.

Clean, spacious and plenty of drink and food options. Staff were friendly and offered assistance without prompting. It was hot and busy but there was plenty of space, seats and toilets so no queues.

Lorry parking is a lot smaller than it used to be can get quite busy here in the summer months.

When used at 2am having waiting for a couple of hours for breakdown service , a bit like the Marry Celeste , open but no service not even a cup of coffee available NO WAY TO RUN A 24 HOUR SERVICES THE WORST ON THE MOTORWAY , THE best being Gloucester and Tebay !!!

It's a service station selling overpriced goods and fuel, generally ripping off the population. Thankfully, I only stopped to use the toilet, which they don't charge you for, Yet.

Our usual M5 stop always stop here. Good choice of take away food from various outlets.

I would have given it more but you literally need a large bank account to purchase anything.

Car park can be a little confusing and there isn't a lot of choice.

Although it's an ideal place to stop before negotiating the M5 around Bristol and round to the Avon Bridge, it is now dated and in need of some money spending on it. The quality of the facilities no longer match the high prices charged for everything once you go inside. Surely they would want to rival Gloucester services, just fifteen miles away, to capture some more trade.

I don't like these places just stop for toilets on coach holiday

Staff were disgusting , need customer service training badly . Ordered a cheese burger paid for it then was ignored. Had to ask where is our food and somebody shouted got no cheese, don't know who they think they are. Some one else came to us and said no cheese what else do you want. I had to ask for refund and he asked why 🤬. Very rude staff, never will go again worst motor way service we have been x😎

Very expensive the toilets in the women's toilets are disgusting & there was a smell of wee toilet paper all over the floor

It's got what you need, clean toilets & places for food & drinks. It also has benches outside to get some air

This place is handy for fuel when traveling on the M5 near Gloucester. There will be cheaper fuel off the motorway if you bothered and/or have the time to find it. I went there with a work colleague at about 2 am to get diesel for our vans as our company uses UK fuel cards which are accepted here. ⛽UK💳 👍

Absolutely disgusting Services. We had to park up with the lorries as we were towing our caravan. The smell from outside was disgusting - in fact it put us off eating our sandwiches. Clearly proves that lorry drivers are not using the proper toilet facilities! We will never visit Michael Wood Services again. Unhygienic place. Don't bother!
