Easily the best fish and chips ever!

My wife and I just sampled the Kirthon menu and everything we had was simply superb! It is very rare to experience such amazingly tender chicken - in the chicken tikka starter and the speciality main Sylheti Murgh - which were both quite outstanding and delicious. We can also recommend the sheek kebab and the chicken makhani, which my wife had. We have been before, some time ago, but had forgotten quite how good this place is. Well worth going!

On a cold dreary Saturday morning after a wet parkrun I had a really nice breakfast (option 2 !) and 2 cups of tea. Quick service, though I wasn’t rushing and I wasn’t rushed out either, fresh nice food and unlike most of the other places in the area I was actually able to park my VW campervan right outside too !

Absolutely brilliant staff with a wealth of knowledge to cater to a customer's taste and odd request for an "off the menu" drink. Absolutely nailed it with "The Sour" long drink while as there wasn't a sour pint available on draught. The member of staff went above and beyond. Promote this man! Hopefully the Siege has some more draught sour drinks available soon 🤞

Excellent coffee and really helpful staff

We had a table of 7 with our family all the way from Venezuela. We sat by the lovely warm fire and had a fantastic Sunday roast. The service was friendly, and we felt like at home. The owner shook our hands as we left and wished a safe onward journey.

Great food in the country park cafe. Shame it was very rainy, but that is not thier fault.

Best to get nonalcoholic drinks

We recently hosted an 80th birthday party here, the conservatory was absolutely perfect for this, the buffet provided was great, the pub was very communicative and helpful with booking and budgets, 10/10 would recommend!

We had Saturday brunch here before the football across the roundabout. My eggs beans bubble and bacon were excellent, really tasty. The coffee was great as well. The service was excellent, very prompt and polite. The cafe is clean and well appointed, the atmosphere buzzing. A pity about the football though, we got thumped 8 -2!
