The Yard House in Isle of Wight

Very nice.. Great coffee... Cosy dogs always welcome.. Will always pop in if in Bembridge and need a coffee.. Relaxing inviroment and smashing garden area for hot summer days sipping wine and eating olives.. Staff are like friends from the minute u walk in.

I highly recommend the steak for supper (delicious!). Such a lovely place, and such kind people running it. Do yourself a favour and pop in.

Nice relaxed place to eat and drink, we had a large family meal and everybody was happy with there meals and drinks. Food was lovely and the staff were friendly and very reasonable priced. Check out the back garden it's cool.

Really nice staff and owners in this relaxed chilled cafe bar Lunchtime welcome incredible Coffee superb cocktail list I had the most tasty burger n seasoned French fries all fresh local ingredients Just wish I had room for the garlic mushrooms on toast alas that will have to wait for another day..! WORST RESTAURANT I HAVE EVER BEEN TOO! Went there today for the first time, ordered 2 Flat White Coffees and 1 Mushroom Toastie. The restaurant takes your money when ordering and then you sit down. We waited over 25 minutes and received nothing I over heard the lady behind the counter say to a young lady she does not know what she is doing (I CAN AGREE WITH HER) when I noticed that another couple who came about 10 minutes after us and also waited quite sometime for their drinks Got their drinks before us. So we went up to the counter and asked for a refund. The young girl was only going to refund us for the coffees she forgot about the Mushroom toastie, I had to mention it. They should not be allowed to run a restaurant Talk about Billy and Silly They are a mother and daughter team, I found this out when I asked for my refund. I said I would not want anything for nothing from them. I have never seen in all my life such a clueless establishment. We will NEVER go there again. There is more action in a Cemetery than at this RESTAURANT I am disgusted, wasted just under half an hour of our time. Between the 2 of them I don't think they could run a bath between them yet alone make a COFFEE I personally think they should stick to their day job. The worrying thing this is there day job. WARNING I suggest you only go to this RESTAURANT if you have plenty of spare time on Your hands, and you don't mind dealing with IDIOTS.

Popped in for unch today, I had the best caeser salad I've had in a long time, my husbamf chose fish & chips,.it was.freshly cooked, lovely &.hot, the batter thin, crispy & light, he"s very fussy & he loved it,! Such.good value, we will definitely make The Yard a regulat place to eat Thank you 😎😁

My second amazing meal here. Breakfast and dinner both cooked to perfection. Cosy with a nice garden terrace. Would recommend to all.
