The Donut Hut Shanklin in Isle of Wight

The donuts are incredible over here. We just could not get enough of warm freshly made donuts. The seating area is very nice and gives you a cozy feeling in the cold. Service is very good, we met the same person twice and were suggested donuts, which we had to try. Try the lotus biscoff, nutella and kinder bueno donut. Don’t forget getting a hot chocolate.

Been here twice this week, probably go again before going home. Just had whippy ice-cream which is lovely and unlike every other place it's a fair price which includes a flake and sauce where other places charge extra for everything which makes it expensive. Like the little shelters with seats and tables so you can enjoy an ice-cream whatever the weather. Owner is really nice too. Recommend you visit. Donuts smell lovely too.

Amazing place for a quick treat!!! Such a vibe with the lights and the great selection of music. We went for the waffle with the strawberries, kinder Bueno, and chunky chocolate ice cream. Oh and no need to even mention the gloriously warm donaughts. If you have even 20mins a must visit!!!

Fantastic service and very nice people

On paper, it’s a simple equation. Donut+Slush+small crazy golf = Happy kiddy. And that is true, but the details matter. Like the donuts are perfect, the staff friendly and helpful, and the banging 80’s tuunz in the background highly evocative for us Breakfast Clubbers ✊

Absolutely amazing experience here. Staff were very friendly and their choices of desserts is perfect. Prices very affordable too and a really nice seating area. Would definitely recommend this place to everyone and will be coming back!

Great little place for fresh hot donuts. Great ice cream and ran by some of the happiest people and friendly people you will see on the island. A must stop off for adults and the kids

An absolute need to visit The Donut Hut in Shanklin IOW. Not just doughnuts you can also choose ice cream with different toppings. I ordered freshly made 12 assorted doughnuts that had different coated flavours and it was delicious 😋. I also had strawberry large Knickerbocker glory sundae ice cream which again excellent quality and flavour. Brilliant service and very friendly. It's outside so you can either eat in the sunshine or in your car at the opposite carpark. Thank you to the lovely lady who served me.

Worst customer service I’ve ever had served with the worst crepe, the short fat ginger thing serving so rude and as for the tall uneducated girl serving she was so nasty to my 5 year old grandchild snatching his slush cup from his hand as he had dropped his full cup and was going to get another one, she took the cup away from him without even asking what had happened. If there was minus stars for this place that’s what they would be getting. My crepe was burnt asked for a new one to be told that’s how they cook them. The rudeness from the staff shocking

Fantastic place to treat yourself to delicious doughnuts 🍩 The vendors are friendly, serving fresh hot treats for all the family or just for me!😋 Definitely recommend.

Has something for everyone and is very good value for some great quality treats. Will always visit when we are able to go to the isle of wight.

Cute little place to get your Donuts and other food/drinks with a small mini golf attached to it. Huts and benches for you to sit at too. Reasonably priced too.

Not much to say but great donuts!

Very nice staff. Unfortunately this must be the worst place for a coffee and tea. The teabags must be the cheapest you can get and to be honest it was like dish water. The coffee did not fair much better weak and horrible what a waste of £4.80 We would have taken them back but we took them down to the sea to drink and discarded them both in the bin.

Came here a few times during our stay on the Island. Great ice creams, donuts and milk shakes. Setting is very chilled and staff lovely and chatty. Looking forward to visiting next year

Disgusting dirty place very greasy donuts the staff where lovely just the owner with a bad attitude which is surprising maybe having a bad day or because he’s having trouble finishing his renovation in his bar/hut & awaiting on alcohol license don’t go here if you are on the upperclass level you will be treated like dirt I can see why he’s not getting anywhere in life.

Excellent doughnuts and crepes and really friendly service. Don't come to Shanklin without coming here for doughnuts or crepes.

Well worth a visit after having gone to the nearby chaine. We had a variety of donuts and they were freshly made and very good. Friendly service.

Sated after visiting a Thai restaurant, we passed this small hut. My wife already ordered these donuts. And behold a big positive surprise. Freshly prepared, covered in high-quality chocolate and melting in my mouth, I ate two of them within a second and already knew that I would devour more. So I started. Every donut connoisseur has to go here once when they're on this "pensioner's island". Seems to be a family business. Very friendly and hardworking couple. Respect. Very good. This is my highest score.

Best coffee and pancakes in Shanklin

Love this place , get staff very friendly guy chatted to me and my family for a little while , kids loved the donuts We even brought the dog Love the little huts to sit in and the lights added that bit extra . We come over every year and do it all over again .

We spent a week on the isle of wight we went to shankling old village which is amazing straight of a chocolate box thatched cottages a lovely high street and the best of all the doughnut hut the doughnuts are cook fresh as you wait hot and naughtily covered in sugar they are reasonably priced and the hut has a large seating area which has plenty of room for wheelchairs it is situated opposite a pay and display carpark during our stay we went there four times and will be going back

Love this place. We always take visiting friends and family for a box of donuts. My favourite though is the crepes, filled with Nutella and banana. I can't resist them

Amazing! We have been here quite a few times in our week on thw island. Even when looking at desserts on pub menus we have found ourselves passing so we can go to the donut hut. Everything made to order.

Ladies I recommend visiting, the dude serving looks like Tom cruise (although happily married) the donuts and crepes were very nice. There’s some cute huts with candles 😉. The latte is decent.

Popped in here last week whilst on holiday in the IoW. Ordered donuts for me, the wife and daughter (dogs had a bit too). They tasted great and the two guys serving were really friendly

Nice to sit and have a snack with music and lights but I can't recommend the crepe. Not sure what they put in their batter but it's not your usual eggs flour milk. They're very hot and served in paper cups. Not easy to eat.

This is one of our absolute go to places every time we visit the island. An amazing selection of donuts, shakes, crepes, slush puppies/iced drinks, and ice creams. Always fresh delicious and just downright amazing. An absolute Must visit if this is your sort of thing. Has a little crazy golf attached too which is fun. Gets busy but very much worth it.

They make awesome donuts, although small and a little overpriced. I think the area could be better used. The crazy golf is always covered in leaves and would be better as seating but staff are fantastic and we go regularly

Great spot, the kids loved the dohnuts and crepes.

When our plans for last evening didn't work out, we ended up here with the kids to feed them something as they were very hungry. It turned out to be a very pleasant evening, with delicious crepes, amazing sundaes and epic doughnuts. Staff working here were so kind and thoughtful, and we spent a lovely time with lovely people.

Oh my goodness!! Even if you don't spend long in Shanklin, make a special trip to the donut hut. The donut sundaes are epic, I can't rate them highly enough!! And the cinnamon sugar donuts. I came back three times in a week because they were so good! Really reasonable prices and they have crepes, ice cream, milkshakes and slushies! The couple running it must be rushed off their feet because it's always so busy but they're really nice and friendly!

Arrived quite late just before closing, but the staff were very helpful and friendly. The donuts were delicious, plenty of cinnamon!

Excellent little cafe, great selection of drinks and dessert type menu plus they have a little crazy golf course. Epic slushie selection for the kids and can recommend the hot fresh donut sundae it was a delight. Nice owner very cool setup

The range of flavours here is unbelievable, and the price of the ice creams is ridiculously cheap for what you get. We all had a 2 scoop seeing as it was our last holiday ice cream and after everyone had picked their flavours and ordered we found out that you actually get 2 scoops of each flavour, so effectively 4 large scoops of ice cream for £3.30 which is very reasonable in my opinion. The ice cream was delicious and we all struggled to finish it. Very highly recommended ice cream parlour.

Great little spot of piece and traquility in the heart of the old village , perfect for an ice cream or a cuppa and cold drinks for the kids

Lovely cream tea and savoury scone with cheese and pickle, together with pot of tea. All served efficiently singlehandedly.

Lovely little cafe with a good range of foods; jacket potatoes, sandwiches, cakes, ice cream and more. Lots of different flavours of ice cream available with reasonable prices; I had the raspberry and white chocolate ice cream which was incredible. The lady who was working was very friendly. Seating outside is white wooden benches which is lovely and you get a great view of the main road through Shanklin. Shanklin chine is just around the corner as well which is great.

Little cafe with a range of sandwiches, baguettes and jacket potatoes. Bit of a tourist trap, but good for a quick bite if your passing through and want to sit outside.
