A great selection on the menu. The owner is so polite and welcoming. The cafe is cosy, clean and reasonably priced. I will be back. Thank you!

Had to write after seeing a couple of reviews which I felt were totally unfair - popped in as waiting for removals from Storage locally - Warm welcome, nothing too much trouble including a request for a mix between a latte & Capp, which was duly obliged!! Snack breakfast was hot, served with a smile & great value - Def returning when next in Merstham - thanks again

I had a couple of hours to kill whilst my car was being fixed and the repairer recommended Village Coffee Shop. Very welcoming and no pressure to move on after my original cup of tea. A delicious breakfast bap, tea and two coffee's and change from a tenner. What's not to love? There's a wide ranging menu for every taste including veggie and gluten free. Also, free wi-fi. Should I be near there again, I'll definitely call in.

Best café in Merstham - only just found this after 3 months working in Merstham - good find. Had a nice brie, bacon and tom panini.

Popped in for a sandwich while my car was in for repair. Greeted with a cheery smile, I was asked what I would like. The menu was clearly laid out on the wall behind and on the tables with clear pricing. I ordered a Tuna and sweetcorn on brown bread and was asked if I wanted salad in it as well, with the option of onions. It took minutes to arrive and was delicious. As my car wasn’t ready yet I asked if I could stay seated. Not a problem, and told “no need to order anything, you’re welcome to stay as long as you like”. Refreshing pleasant customer service. Would recommend.

Called for breakfast and on first appearances it looks life a lovely little shop. I ordered an all day breakfast and was suppressed to find they didn’t do fried eggs... that was until I watch how my whole breakfast was cooked in the microwave. Sausages, bacon bean and eggs!! It all tasted of nothing and was awful. My partner had crumpets which were frozen and the first batch came out ice cold in the middle. Coffee was ok and my partner enjoyed her hot chocolate. All in all my 5 year old can provide better food! Avoid at all costs

A wonderful place to go for a light lunch or brunch. Cosy and warm inside with a sunny balcony if needed! Run by two welcoming sisters! Delicious home made cakes and lots of other options.

Friendly, welcoming, always professional, delicious coffee and a good selection of cakes. I haven't tried the lunch menu but the fillers look amazing. Merstham isn't the largest of places so it is such a delight to find this family cafe nestling at its heart. It's clean and efficient and the tables outside on the new decking area were a welcome addition this summer. It looks very small inside but somehow you don't feel as though you're too close to other visitors. My children want to run a cafe like this when they're older - need I say more?

Saw some publicity about the cafe (not sure where) so called in for a coffee after a local walk. Very friendly service and full flavoured Americanos were pleasing to find. Food liked good value.

It is so lovely to have a coffee shop in Merstham that has a lovely relaxed atmosphere with warm and welcoming staff. You never feel hurried and the food is good and the coffee shop is clean and fresh with a feel you are in another city in a way. Debbie and Sam run the coffee shop and there are a couple of tables outside and in the shop front and a relaxed space at the back. I recommend the bacon panini and the cakes and the addition of cupcakes adds to the menu. They have a nice salad selection and the beauty is you can have a salad selection box to go and most items can be taken away if you are in a hurry. Sandwiches are made to order and the choice goes on. They have the added bonus of opening Sundays and bank holidays too. What's stopping you, when you visit just know it will not be your last visit.

My wife Jennifer and I recently visited a lovely coffee shop in the village of South Merstham, near Redhill, Surrey. Located in a small parade of shops in the high street, this privately owned family business is run be two very attractive ladies Debbie and her sister Sam. Ron the father runs the 'backroom'. The café is open each day including Sundays and Bank Holidays. There are NO parking restrictions on the high street. There is seating outside in good weather and seating in the front and back of the shop. There are very clean toilets at the rear. There is very varied menu of snacks including breakfasts, rolls, sandwiches, salads, and many home cooked cakes. Hot and cold drinks also.

I ordered and received the Valentines Box, yesterday, which was really lovely. All of the contents were very tasty, in fact there was too much food for one sitting, so we saved some for later. Delicious, and will definitely order the next event.

I wish I knew about this place before. I be been a few times and had different menu options. I’ve yet to be disappointed and will adopt it as my go to lunch spot. The Reigate Scotch egg breakfast was authentic , good ingredients and flavourful. The coffee ( cuppa chino) could be in bigger mugs to dilute the strength of the coffee , but otherwise good .

A bright and spacious coffee shop set in a great department store selling beauty furniture (however always with sale prices which I am not convinced about). The sandwiches could do with being made with a better selection and quality of bread. Also the salad garnish has not changed in years - a bit of lettuce, large slice of dry cucumber, a couple of rings of red onion and tasteless cherry tomatoes with a choice of sachet mayo or salad cream. You also get a small pile of crisps. I would love to see this improved and offered a pile of mixed salad leaves and a nice salad dressing.

Really nice rest stop for some drinks and to look at all the vintage cameras. Staff was super nice. It really close to the British Museum. The staff was super nice and friendly. Prices are very reasonable.
