Bica Cafe in Reigate and Banstead

What a fabulous find! I took my elderly parents here (Dad’s in a wheelchair) and my kids for lunch. Rui came straight out to help Dad out of his wheelchair and up the 2 steps and to his table. Mum and I went in to choose food and he showed us round and told us all about all the Portuguese food and bakes etc he makes on site. Everyone ordered different toasties which they said were delicious. I am GF & DF so ordered a prawn mayo salad which Rui did Portuguese style chopped finely with a lovely dressing. We sat outside on the covered area watching the world go by and felt like we were on holiday! We will definitely be back!

Rui”s is a lovely little Portuguese cafe in merstham village. The freshly baked pastries are fantastic!!! There’s a covered outside seating area. Highly recommend

Rui's is a fab little place on Merstham Road! We were looking for somewhere to while away an hour or so on Wednesday (12th) whilst having the car fixed. Had great coffees, extremely fresh toasted sandwiches and delicious Portuguese Pastéis de Nata (wish we'd bought two!) Owner extremely friendly. Would thoroughly recommend.

Excellent food and drinks, together with engaging service from the owner and chef. A real asset to the area and worthy of repeat visits.

The food is amazing and the staff amazing also. The only down side is the smoking!!. I used to eat here frequently and loved it, but We stopped going as the owner and at the time waitress constantly smoked when not serving. I personally found this unhygienic and off-putting. It wasn't as if they scrubbed their hands everytime after smoking.

My go to lunch cafe now I've discovered it - great place to walk to and get lunch. Sit inside or out in sunny weather. Good coffee, selection of cold drinks, and great selection of fillings to go in a variety of rolls and bread sandwiches.

I love this place! I don't get to come in as much as I should but they always remember me and are so friendly and welcoming. Their toasties are fab. Would highly recommend!

We had a light lunch and the food was delicious. The service was good. They have speciality Portuguese pastries, cakes and beautiful brioche buns with coconut on the top😊

An unbelievably friendly café, which serves great food. The owner has recently gained an alcohol licence so this lovely café is now open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday's until 8. As long as you buy some food then you can be served with some really nice alcoholic drinks and take in the great service.

Came here for a light lunch with a friend and the food was delicious - probably one of the nicest BLT’s I have ever had. Pastries were also delicious. Staff delightful. Would recommend.
