The best restaurants in Bishops Waltham Winchester South East

An historic pretty pub in the centre of Bishops Waltham. Good food & beer. Plenty of seating, dogs welcome. Hotel not used.

Best Indian but don't no if it's still open 😞

Since moving to Bishops Waltham I have found some lovely local shops and enjoy a wander around the HIgh Street, This Sweet Shop sadly in the exception !! I have taken my GrandChildren in there several times as the concept is great - a mixture of traditional old fashioned sweets in jars / chocolates and pick and mix = Plus ice cream . Sadly the experience is completely ruined by very unfriendly / unhelpful staff who are appear to be irritated by children ...... After our last visit I have decided that I am no longer prepared to put up with rudeness in order to buy sweets for the kids !

This was a terrible place to visit, mainly due to the elderly irritating man (?Fred) running it. He kept interrupting us when we were talking between our group (with his uninteresting stories about himself). I could not work out whether he was drunk or he was just a strange human. The food was not very good and the coffee was weak (despite being assured that it was the best food and coffee in the country!). Needless to say, I will not return!

I always really love going to Josie's Bishops Waltham. The manager is always super friendly. The other staff are also clearly very hardworking too. I always love the food and milkshakes! My only problem is it's almost too popular!! Would be cool if you could book but I definitely understand why we can't.

Great service and great food never gad an issue would recommend

Wow. I cannot rate or recommend this place highly enough. We ate inside and the food was amazing. There was one particular member of staff (all were nice) who demonstrated true customer service and a desire to make your experience a good one.

The list of negatives Late delivery Sweet and sour sauce was more like jelly. Chicken satay skewers did not come with any sauce. The chow mein had a burnt taste to it above the usual seasoning of the pan. All food was just about warm enough to still be edible but not enough to be enjoyable. Such a shame.
