The best restaurants in The Vale of Glamorgan South East

Visited on an empty weekday afternoon and wouldn’t serve me because I had my 12 year old son with me. Dogs are allowed but kids aren’t? Says it all No wonder Witherspoons around the corner is packed and this place is empty

Got short changed done me out of £10.00 so I will not got back again Guy behind the counter ripped me off and when I complained used foul langage.

Surely one of the best locations in Wales. Pity the service and fare didn't match it. Went there on a beautiful, crisp October day and sat outside. We had to move from our first table because of an overflowing drain under the adjacent table. The stench was appalling. Ordered our food - 1 bagel, 2 paninis (which turned out to be bread rolls) plus 2 drinks for more than £44. Not cheap. The two drinks were served separately and only after we reminded the staff we were still a drink short after 10 minutes. Of the list of beers on sale (maybe 5 or 6) only one was available. No chips to accompany our "rolls" but that's fair enough i guess. Enjoyed the view but that was about it. Food was mediocre- filled a gap but not much more. Won't be returning.

Just ordered on just eat and was given the wrong meal , not all your fault but maybe make sure they are taking the correct food because now some lucky bugger has got £30 worth KFC when I had to share 2 box meals for 3 people P.S food was good even tho it wasn’t mine

I went for a lunch. What I received from the giggling girls on duty was an absolute disgrace. I ordered brown toast. They were not listening but smirking with a boy. I got two rounds of white toast. My English Breakfast was partly inedible. Only the inside of the sausage could be eaten; the single, cold, rasher of bacon was mainly fat while the egg was passable. How on earth do the local hygiene authorities let them get away with this awful standard of food? When I complained I was told the supervisor was "at lunch." Never, never, never again.

Good service and friendly staff. Ordered a double smash burger, came in a brioche bun with a huge amount of sauce. The bun dissolved and all ended up in a sloppy mess and very unpleasant to eat. The patty’s were good but drowned in the sauce. Please use a bun that can hold a burger
