The Baruc Arms in The Vale of Glamorgan

Visited on an empty weekday afternoon and wouldn’t serve me because I had my 12 year old son with me. Dogs are allowed but kids aren’t? Says it all No wonder Witherspoons around the corner is packed and this place is empty

Good for sport to be fair but staff painstakingly miserable staff. It was an effort for them to serve people drinks with one of them on her mobile all night having a go at everyone

Lovely place to go. NOT Wouldn't let me sit and feed my baby yesterday because he's under 18. It was half 10 in the morning and no cafes were open in High Street. I told the guy I only needed to feed my newborn but that still wasn't allowed. Disgusting. I was also making a purchase, I wanted a half pint of lemonade 😑 It's ok though for them to play pool and be drinking at that time of morning though but I couldn't give my son a drink? Shocking. Thought this place was a public house, for the public, clearly only open for alcoholics.

We came to Barry for the week and needed somewhere to watch the euros final. Spoke to Joe who sorted us out with a great table and good chat. Shame about the result 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿😭 but otherwise happy to spend it in a great atmosphere with amazing value drinks and lovely staff

Drinks were cheap but not that nice, get what you pay for I suppose, the bar is quite big but cold and unwellcomeing no atmosphere staff didn't smile once, not a real pub, much better pubs in Barry.
