We had a fantastic sunday roast as ever here. Nicola cooked everything to perfection as usual and it was nice and hot too. I cannot recommend this pub higly enough for the food, beer and cosy atmosphere.

Lovely pub with nice ambiance . The food was great and service was first class. 2nd time there and we live an hour away so will be going again when we're not so busy with the grandkids ! Well worth a visit but be sure to book .

This was held on the last Sunday in the month and was always an excellent meal. Nice people in a wonderful setting. It is a shame it has closed and I wish them well in retirement.

Possibly the worst meal I've ever had in a restaurant. £35 for three courses so not particularly cheap. Baba ghanoush was vile, followed by a dusty "wagyu" burger (lies lies lies - no wagyu beef in that burger - Possibly no beef at all) and a brownie Sundae (cheap yellow ice cream- I won't call it vanilla - and shop bought pieces of hard brownie). They should be ashamed to serve this let alone charge for it. I was part of a business conference group, and it was just garbage. I hope my colleagues refused to pay. Most of us didn't even eat the food.

This was not a pleasant experience. My ‘spaghetti’ with prawns and chilli arrived floating in sauce (more like a soup), the spaghetti was cut up, a spaghetti being about an inch long. There was no prawn in sight (most probably blended into the sauce). It would need a spoon to eat it. It looked like food for a toddler or out of a tin. I have never felt that I had to reject a dish but this was definitely one of those moments. I am a friendly person and I always appreciate good staff but the waitress frankly couldn’t give a dam. My husbands Wagu beef burger was burnt but he decided it was edible and didn’t complain. I was so shocked at what I had been served that I decided to skip dinner. The food is definitely a conversation topic but not in a good way.
