By far the best Peri-Peri Chicken 🍗 in all the surrounding areas! I usually eat freshly prepared grilled foods that are seasoned well and burst 💥 with a combination of well blended flavours which Evoq have definitely 💯 got it spot on! I would highly recommend coming here for lunch 🥗 or dinner 🥘. Top quality on Presentation and Hygiene! Top quality on Food and Flavours! Top quality on Prices and Portions! Top quality on Hospitality and friendly Customer Service! This was the first time we’d dined at Mehdi. After a warm welcome, the service was equally attentive throughout. The food was also very good. The highlight for me was a Paneer Jalfrezi main course - which wasn’t on the menu - but which the chef was happy to prepare for me anyway. The restaurant had a really good atmosphere for a cold November evening. In summary, an excellent experience and good value for money.

Stumbled on this quite by accident a few months ago but have been back several times since as the food was absolutely delicious. The staff is super friendly as well.

Banging food, not worth the hour and a half they made us wait for literally no reason

Very tasty but Dansak not as spicy as expected and somewhat heavy in oil. Mushroom rice 'different' but again very tasty. All had lots of different and pleasing flavours. Would have liked it spicy hotter.

We’ve been coming here as a family for over 20 years now. At first, this was a thriving place and it was easy to see why. The food was fresh and delicious, the place was warm, inviting with so much atmosphere. The owner was so welcoming and the waiters were full of life, cracking jokes and really entertaining people. Now, sadly, customers seem to be an inconvenience at this restaurant. The waiters barely greet you when you arrive in. The first thing that meets your eye is the pizza chef slumped over his counter on his phone. The restaurant was absolutely freezing. Apparently the heaters were not working - no apologies when we walked in though, our whole party put coats on and when I asked about heat they said that the repair man didn’t turn up. I wonder why they didn’t use temporary heaters though? It’s indicative of how much they care about their customers. Menus are flimsy, old and dirty. Specials were the same specials from when we were last there months ago! Food was bland, my main dish lukewarm. Each time we wanted more drinks we had to ask. Crazy because the restaurant wasn’t busy. Nobody came to refill the wine. Mains took a lifetime to come out - made worse because we were all so cold. A free hot drink to warm us up wouldn’t have gone amiss but I feel the staff were just watching us to see when we would be leaving… I hate paying good money to feel like an inconvenience and will be happy to take my custom elsewhere now

Great food - me and a friend were catching up over a meal and the food here was excellent - hosted by Roy who was helpful throughout we enjoyed it !

I'm mostly impressed with the service here these days. The only slight issue that I have is that the top bar is now rarely open which means that if you're sitting up there, then you'll need to go down to the lower bar to order your drinks. That said they have a fairly young team that are hard-working, and they're all very pleasant and offer efficient service. The small bites have improved significantly recently, too. The buffalo chips, salt and pepper chicken and the wings are all reasonably priced and definitely tasty snacks. Green King has regular discounts that are worth keeping an eye out for, typically ranging from 10-20%. This is a great meeting place for small or large groups alike.
